The Savory Gourmet has the absolute best cheese board! I picked out my favorite and they are the only place that has gloucester. I even liked the crackers and loved the bread.

General Sutter of the Sutter Gold Rush, after gold prospectors overran his land, resettled in Lititz, Pennsylvania where he built the General Sutter Inn which is a hotel and restaurant that operates today.
When he died he had specified that he wanted a 10 ft tall wall around his grave so that although people had walked all over his land at will, no one could walk over his grave. The Moravian Church didn't want to deny his request, but at the same time they didn't want a 10-ft wall in the middle of their graveyard. So 9 ft of that wall is underground.
True story.
You can come to Lititz and see it. (Try the elk medallions in the restaurant.)

Koziar's Christmas Village
**Grinch alert** Back in October, I saw a group tour advertised to go to Koziar’s in early December. The deal was to board a bus and ride for 2.5 hours up to Berk’s county, PA., then tour Koziar’s on your own and ride the bus back. Tickets were $80.00 per person. That’s EIGHTY DOLLARS per person. This fee covered the driver, the bus, gratuities and a tour guide. While they didn’t mention they’d…

Lititz Art Show
If you keep your eyes open, you may soon discover that art is literally everywhere you go, like the annual Lititz Fine Arts Show in Lancaster County PA, which Ellie, off campus art news, had the pleasure of visiting recently. #MarywoodArt #FineArts
Hello everyone! This week I was back in Lancaster County, in one of my favorite small towns, Lititz! This past Saturday, Lititz Springs park hosted the Lititz Fine Arts Show. I went to this event, and saw lots of amazing art by some very talented artists. I’ve been to many shows as a child, but now as an art student, I took note of how artists price their work. For the first time I have a reason…

Just wanted to share this factoid with you (I’ve been a tour stagehand)
The “Roomba” is called a Mobilator in the industry. Touring stages on the highest end like Taylor’s is designed and manufactured to scale by a company in the industry called TAIT Towers out of Lititz, PA. (They’ve been on the cutting edge of stage design)
“The TAIT Mobilator is a stage technology that provides linear motion to set pieces and stage wagons. It can move up to 12,500 lbs (5,669.9 kg) and can be used with multiple stage elements to create moving applications”
“Control: The Mobilator can be controlled locally or by TAIT Navigator when paired with TAIT smart air compressors and encoders.”
The more you know ☺️ ... thank you!
