Dinner & bbt with KT!! My taobao order arrived, hence the new outfit. Bought plenty of cute tops and sets this time. We went to take photobooth photos first before dinner. Always so fun. I am slowly starting a big collection and I am loving it. I am Life4Cut biggest client right now. We went to eat Liuyishou hot pot AYCE after. I haven't eaten any hot pot for 2 months since my Dolar Shop AYCE because I just CANNOT. Ate so many meats both times. And this one broke me too!!!! I don't want any more hot pots for a long time... food was decent but I got so full once again. Ended off the day with Coconut water drink with coconut jelly and coconut meal from Cocobay 🥥 YUM YUM YUM! They also had cute decorations 🌴

Biography of Xie Hun

[Son of Xie Yan and grandson of Xie An. From JS079]

Hun, courtesy name Shuyuan, as young had a commendable reputation and was good at composing texts. Earlier, Emperor Xiaowu was seeking a husband for the Princess of Jinling, and spoke to Wang Xun, saying:

As the Princess's husband only [someone] like Liu Zhenchang or Wang Zijing would be readily sufficient. [Someone] like Wang Chuzhong or Huan Yuanzi are truly possible. [Someone] talented with small wealth and honour [?] will readily be at ease with a person's family affairs.

Xun replied, saying:

Xie Hun, though he does not reach Zhenchang, he is not less than Zijing.

The Emperor said:

[Someone] like this is readily sufficient.

Before long the Emperor expired. Yuan Shansong wanted to use his daughter to marry him [i.e. Hun]. Xun said:

You cannot approach the forbidden slice.

Earlier, when Emperor Yuan began to headquarter at Jianye, public and private were distressed and exhausted. Each time they obtained a single suckling pig, they considered it to be a delicacy. A single slice of the upper neck was particularly well-regarded, and was immediately therefore presented to the Emperor. The crowd of subordinates not once dared to eat [it]. At the time it was referred to as the “forbidden slice”. For that treason Xun adopted it as a joke. Hun in the end wed the Princess and succeeded to his father noble rank.

Huan Xuan once wished to use An's residence as a barracks. Hun said:

The humanity of the Earl of Shao was such that his kindness reached the birch-leaf pear. The virtue of Wenjing in turn does not protect his residence of five mu?

Xuan heard, was ashamed, and desisted.

He was successively Prefect of the Palace Writers, Army Leader of the Centre, Supervisor of the Left of the Masters Writings and Leader of the Selection. He was executed as a partisan of Liu Yi, and the state was abolished. When Song received the abdication, Xie Hui spoke to Liu Yu, saying:

Your Majesty answered Heaven and received the instructions. At the day of climbing the altar [I] regret [we] did not get Xie Yishou to offer the imperial signet and ribbon.

Yu likewise sighed and said:

I very much regret it, causing the later-born not getting to see his stylish manners.

Yishou was Hun's child name.

Chinese Hot Pot Chain to Bring Meat Wheels to Boston

A massive hot pot chain from China that has expanded to the United States has tapped Boston for a new growth opportunity. Liuyishou Hotpot — which operates more than 1,000 restaurants around the world, including three in the United States and more than a dozen in Canada — will take over the former Joy Luck Hot Pot space at 702 Washington St. in Chinatown, and could open by the end of the year.

Liuyishou Hotpot serves Chongqing-style hot pot, which is spicy due to the addition of Sichuan peppers. There are options for beef oil and vegetable oil broths, among others, and diners can choose hot pot ingredient combos, including vegetables, seafood, or beef and lamb. The meats come presented on a wooden wheel that wraps around the broth pot. There are a la carte items available as well.

Boston’s restaurant will be the fourth in the U.S. for Liuyishou Hotpot, which also plans to open a Seattle restaurant this year. The restaurant’s name means “one-armed Liu,” taking its name from its founder (who lost a hand in a car accident) and the word for thumbs-up, “yishou.” Eater has reached out for a more exact opening timeline for Liuyishou Hotpot’s Boston location, so stay tuned for more details on the arrival of meat wheels and spicy broths.
