Day 20/366: January 20th 2024 | Craziest Day...

Woke up at 3AM running on 3 hours of sleep. Had to be in studio basement at 6am to load and check UCAL gear. Left studio, hung out with Vicky and ate Dolar Shop lunch special beef ribs in pork bone broth and then headed over to my 8 hour mobile shift at night. Finished work at 10:30PM. SO SLEEP DEPRIVED.

Day 19/366: January 19th 2024 | Back to Work...

BUT UNDER WHAT CONDITION???? THIS SNOW IS INSANE. Also did a 10 hour shift on 4 hours of sleep. Fuck lol. On a brighter note, I earned $200 today selling my old CCD camera.

Day 18/366: January 18th 2024 | Another Snow Day...

Work cancelled AGAIN. Went to bank and played piano. Next post will be a cover!

Day 17/366: January 17th 2024 | Snow Day ❄️

Shift was cancelled due to snow. I just rotted at home all day.

Day 16/366: January 16th 2024 | Day In 🏠

Stayed in all day. Feels nice to stay home all day, it has been awhile. I mostly just planned my Asia trip. Had to take out some cities (RIP SANYA & XIAMEN...) Kind of disappointed but should be good because I am going to all of my favourite places anyway. Had to do some prioritizing.

Day 15/366: January 15th 2024 | Vaccinations 💉

Got my super late flu and COVID booster shots (5th shot... kind of lost count lol) that I have been invited to since November... I was out of town for the longest time and then the holidays happened hence the delay but better late than never. Also, my new dress from Selkie arrived. Paid a hefty amount of this. Better be worth it :')

Day 14/366: January 14th 2024 | Xiaolongkan with Vicky 🌶️

Me eating hot pot, what a surprise. Our first hang out of the year! I love XLK so much. It truly is my favourite restaurant and meal ever. We ordered medium spicy pot with chicken feet, tripe, beef, potato noodles, sweet potato noodles, and shrimp paste. I also ate a lot of side dish radish and about 100 melons from the sauce bar. Managed to get us 20% off so yay!

Day 13/366: January 13th 2024 | Fujifilm on my Phone!?

New filter on DAZZ is so similar to NC filter on my Fujifilm. I almost did not have to drop 1.3k on my camera if this filter came out earlier HAHA. But it's nice to have this everywhere I go. Shift was another cold, cold night. Been working a LOT lately. Happy that tomorrow is day off.

Day 12/366: January 12th 2024 | Coldest Day of the Year ❄️

It is so weird to see Vancouver go into negatives temperature wise considering how warm it has been all winter. Today was -15 degrees in RMD. INSANE!!! Arrived at work and the goddamn generator was too cold to start. I wish today was cancelled. Life has been a lot lately. I am freezing. Shoutout to my coworker for driving me back home so I don't have to walk for 33 minutes in the cold.

Day 11/366: January 11th 2024 | Cutest Cookie 🍪

I ate almost the whole box of this strawberry cookie. So good. Shift was busy.

Day 10/366: January 10th 2024 | Free Bubble Tea?! 🧋

Someone from work stopped by and delivered us timbits and Coco during the shift. So nice of them for this. I asked for fresh taro fresh milk. Sad there were no qq balls so regular pearls it is. Yum.

Day 9/366: January 9th 2024 | Work Fit Today was chill. Got so bored at one point my coworker was teaching me how to dance at Persian weddings. LOL... Also these are the new jeans I got. Baggy AF but pretty nice.

Day 8/366: January 8th 2024 | Finally Another Yakinunu 🍅

YAAAAAY a hangout with Jesslyn after almost one year. We went to Aberdeen and got Korean photobooth photos (yes I am collecting this with every single one of my friends lol) and then we got bubble tea from Pause n Sip (peach yakult so yum). We went to Hai Di Lao Vancouver location for their 31% off late night meal hehe. The meal was so good and affordable too. I was very well fed. I love the mochi filled fish cakes. As always, the tomato soup is the BEST here. I also loved the shrimp balls and meats.

Day 7/366: January 7th 2024 | Coquitlam Shifts... 🐶

This day easily one of the worst days of my life. Spent most of it in panic attacks and even when I was napping I was drenched in sweat. Well. The year is off to a weird start truly.

Day 6/366: January 6th 2024 | Cheese tart! 🧀

I had another long and terrible and tiring shift and almost no sleep. I was starving because I didn't eat all day so I bought myself a cheese tart from Castella at 6pm. It was so good (as aesthetic!)

Day 5/366: January 5th 2024 | Death Shift ☠️

This day was brutal... such a long day. Set up from move night + pouring rain + SUPER LONG COMMUTE... at least I got to work with Jesslyn.
