Was using a substitute icon on tardis.guide for a bit, but seeing as my userhandle is actually Who related, I wanted a proper icon too. So, tonight, when I finally had the time to sit down it was time to draw Liv Chenka. It’s been a few months since I last properly drew Liv so it was a bit of a tough groove to get into but I’m fairly happy with the finished result. I ended up using the low-sat/blue one but the coloured one was fairly nice too.

Constantly thinking about the fact that Gabby Gonzalez is repeatedly shown to know more about the doctor’s previous companions than practically any other character in the fucking franchise. She references people from the 2005 series, classic who, big finish, and even the fucking eighth doctor comics and EDAs. And we’re never shown any of those conversations.

Young whovians identify with those companions cause they want to be them, old whovians identify with the Doctor happy to show the young ones around. You're neither. You're Liv and Helen. Or River. Or Kate. Romana... Missy..." Me: "..... a queer woman???" Wife: "Middle-aged, competent and confident." Me: "Right..." Wife: "Yes, and queer. Those are all gay, aren't they?"

A) I'm extremely impressed with how many suitable DW characters she managed to name!

I can’t help thinking that Stranded would be much improved if it was just a sixteen part sitcom based around these three having to share a flat.
