Me: AU TIME!!!

AU where Lloyd & Cole are brothers, sons of Garmadon & Misako. Cole was born first, five years before Lloyd.

Destiny hates the FSM's bloodline, so the family ends up split up for a decade. Garmadon is banished to the Underworld once the Devourer venom fully corrupts him, Misako goes off to research the Green Ninja prophecy but cannot take a five year old and a baby to dangerous ruins, so she leaves Lloyd at Darkley's and Cole at the Brookstone residence (Lilly is her sister in this au). She seperated her sons because she feared destiny would repeat and they'd end up like Wu and Garmadon, one brother evil the other good.

Events in the show play out as they do in the show canon (Cole get's his earth power from Lilly). Wu knows Cole and Lloyd are brothers, but keeps it secret because he too fears destiny will try and tear them apart. They learn of their relation when they reunite with Misako at the museum. It's a shock for everyone.

Luckily as much as destiny tries to mess up this family, Cole & Lloyd have a very close & healthy relationship and nothing can pit them against each other (asside from sweets).
