Day 14

Another restless night. Apparently the vow of in sickness and in health is starting to have real meaning for Megan😇.

Today we pack up and leave our hotel and bike through to Pollenca. Another hot day so lather up with sunscreen and set off. Go through the villages of Costix, Llubi, Buger, And Campanella. May sound all very romantic but for defence reasons all these bloody villages are at the top of hills. Starting to wear as thin as the skin on Megans backside.

Went through some lovely valleys and the closer we got to Pollenca the larger and more modern the houses became. As we got closer I asked Megan about our hotel as I knew that Hooked on Cycling had changed it as the original one was booked out. Sure enough the directions I was following took us to our original hotel not the new one. Decided to go with it and ask for direction when we got there. As it turned out only about a km away so no big issue.

The new hotel Pasada de Lluc is great and luxurious compared to the last one. Arrived about 2pm and lazed around the pool before going for a walk around about 6 pm. Back to the hotel and then out for dinner in the square at 7:30. Lovely warm night with great tapas and lots of people watching.
