This guy took me to his family bday dinner with him, his friend, mom, aunts and uncles.. It was a nice steak house, and at the end of dinner he cleans off one of the knives and presses it against my throat.. Some of the waitstaff is staring and quietly talking to each other, his mom, aunts and uncles all just continue talking to each other and either don't see what's going on or just don't care..
He laughs at me because i cant stop smiling..looks at his friend and says, "Look at her. She hasn't smiled like this all night. Just put a knife to her throat and she cant stop grinning." They both laugh at me and he proceeds to put the knife to my throat three more times before the night ended.. He later commented on how wet he was sure I'd gotten from being publicly threatened and he was right 🥺💦
John loved most things, especially when it came to food. Well, actually, no - that was a lie. John loved unhealthy things. Most fruit also got a pass too on account of the sweetness, but vegetables? Oh, they never went down well.
Pizza was most definitely fine, though. That was one of the things he was enjoying about his move to the US! The pizza there was far more unhealthy than it was back at home!
"Have you got money?" John then checked. "I don't. I spent all my pocket money already." Impulse control had never been his strong point and the boy hadn't been able to resist the urge to pick up a couple of interesting looking comics and a bar of chocolate last time he had found himself with spare change in his pocket.
“Don’t worry, it’s my treat!,” she exclaimed cheerfully. Fish was not the best at saving up her pocket money, but luckily enough, her father’s had given her her monthly 10 dollars just the day before. If she bought a pizza, she’d still have 8 dollars for the rest of the month, which was plenty for going to the arcades.
“There’s only one place in town that sells pizza,” she exclaimed as she grabbed her jacket from her desk chair, “it’d be tricky to bike back home with pizza, so we’ll have to go by foot. It’s not too far though, I know a shortcut.”
Once she had her jacket on, she laced up her sneakers, grabbed her backpack, and invited John to follow her. She ran down the stairs, waving a quick “hi” to her dad, reading the newspapers in the living room.
