Well, I can’t really say with confidence when I will next be at a convention or doing any cosplaying at all. I’m really trying to be strict with my finances, and focus on my personal life. (As if I wasn’t enough of a hermit.) On top of just focusing on those nearest and dearest to me, and not being as reliant on social media...I’m just really over the cosplay community as a whole. I just don’t like what I’m seeing, there’s a lot of negativity, drama and contests of show going on. I don’t want to get involved and the more that happens, the more I pull away and shut myself off from something. I’m also not a cute young teen or young adult anymore, and I have a dog to worry about. And let me tell you: costuming is always a net negative for me money wise, especially conventions. So as always, we will see what happens. I really don’t think I’d be missed or that my presence added much of anything for anyone.
