I commissioned @rosenkranz-does-things for art, and they are a literal angel and so good, still sobbing.

The art is of a scene from my Lizard Queen Fairytale AU!

The tears she had bitten back started streaming down her cheeks as she cradled Vastra close. “Please, you have to be okay… I want to hear your laughter again, and I’ll put up with your teasing insults, just please…”

She brought the lizard to her lips and kissed her tiny head lovingly. Tears fell onto Vastra’s scales. “Please, wake up…”
