This book has so much cool action and twists and turns, and one of my favourite romances of all time (it's somehow the softest and the spiciest). Added all the other characters as well because I adore them, the most hyper competent yet chaotic protagonist group ever to run amok in 1909.

Anyway who else is barely waiting for the release of A Power Unbound? I didn’t think I could want an unreleased book more than I did Alecto the Ninth, but I was mistaken.

I just finished my reread of a Marvellous Light & a Restless Truth and I loved it again. Edwin is amazing and I love his arc of learning to be vulnerable and I love that he's autistic. His and Robin's romance is very sweet and quite different from the other two pairings.

Maud is an amazingly chaotic main character in book 2. She might not have magic but she has the audacity and that's going to get her far.

Still obsessed with Lord Hawthorn and his dynamic with Ross and can't wait for their book in November

At first I wasn't sure about Lord Hawthorne as a lead in the last book. I love sarcastic jerk who finally found his match as a couple dynamic, but I loved Edwin and Hawthorn was positively awful to him and for him. Not exactly just another bully like Walter, but still.

And indeed I loved Jack and Alan together, their interactions, their fights, their povs.

But seeing lord Hawthorn actually admit to himself and then to Edwin who wrong he actually was. How he completely miscalculated and his behaviour did nothing but destroy Edwin further. He wasn't justifying himself, just admitted it.

Book one: Haha! I am escaping to America, where the Plot cannot get me! There will be no way this can be foiled! >:D

Book two: okkayy the Plot sorta has me, but not to fear! I will disappear as SOON as the ship makes dock, and then the Plot cannot get its claws into me >:)
