Every flash of lightning that seized your vision was a result from the overflowing mana that was housed inside your killer’s body.

“Empress,” Yuuta mouthed, and only did tears pool his eyes when the Emperor—the undeserving owner of your heart—threw the sword away and exited the scene in utmost satisfaction.

Only two words flew out of your husband’s lips before he turned on his heel. “Die peacefully.”

You laughed. And you laughed more, your manic laughter resonated through the main hall, creating a ripple of sound waves even as blood continuously seeped from your mouth.
