Legend of the Boneknapper is crazy dude. It centers around Gobber and the gang going around and getting into trouble, like, I’m not sure any of the gang’s dragons are even in the short.

And the core of most HTTYD content is Hiccup and Toothless but Legend of the Boneknapper said fuck it, let’s focus on these six kids and their crazy uncle hunting a giant skeleton dragon and telling stories about hammer head whales jumping out of volcanoes and fighting said giant skeleton dragon, and dude I love it so much like

I'm gonna go watch the boneknapper short for the first time. Stoick'll probably be in it. To me, that'll be new "footage" of him...wish me luck.

Ha, good luck. He's in it a little at the beginning, but most of it focuses on Gobber and the teens. Tbh I don't really find it very interesting at all, but that's just my opinion. It has nothing on Gift of the Night Fury,

In the tags on one of my posts about Legend of the Boneknapper Dragon, @charms-cat said that they thought it would have been cool if Gobber got the BoneKnapper instead of Grump.

Like dude. Dude. That is such a good idea dude omg. Like it would be perfect. How cool would it be if in RTTE they’re going to the dragon auction, and one of the dragons in the cages is the Boneknapper that they ran into. Obviously it remembered Gobber from when he was a teenager even upon seeing him as an adult, it would totally remember him then. Obviously a bit of a touch up on the information we have on the Boneknapper (I personally think that it not being able to roar without a full suit of armor is kinda weird lol), it would be so good. Bc the gang has history with it and Gobber has a real connection with it, and I think that would be so awesome.

(I do love Gobber seeing a random dragon being mistreated and being so outraged by it, and also being one of the first people in a while to go out of his way to show him kindness, and also seeing the development in the way he talks to him from Last Auction Heroes to HTTYD 2 though it’s so good)
