Speaking of ice-cream, this reminds me of that moment from RTTE
Gobber: "The sun, is a shiny potato, covered in drawn butter."
Snotlout: "And the moon is a scoop of ice cream."
This implies that over the course of three years, the twins introduced ice cream to the rest of the gang as well and it's one of the treats they sometimes enjoy
I love finding these little gems in the art books. These are such simple concepts but the way they’re executed in the movies/shows make it seems so much more complex.
Happy 14th Anniversary to the Masterpiece that started the incredible Franchise we all love and know today!
I still can remember the year it came out. My Dad picked this Movie, I was so unsure about it because my Dad usually picked bad movies and I was afraid of Dragons in Movies in general. And I‘m so glad I watched Httyd, I regret no penny I invest in this phenomenal Trilogy. The first Time I saw the first Httyd I never looked away from the Screen. It amazed me and I‘m grateful it is still part of my life.
Never actually paid attention to Berk during this part of the battle, which is when Hiccup and Toothless have disappeared into the clouds along with the Red Death.
They're so worried for the boy's safety. They honestly just wanted him back with them safe and sound. They didn't want him up there in the clouds, battling this dragon not even Berk's collective strength could kill.
Also Gobber's concerned face is just heartbreaking.
