hi :) so i saw u were doing the match up request things and wanted to try one! could it be for ninjago, i like men (unfortunately). lets see, soo..i’m a girl, half porto rican-half white (i was raised bilingual i know Spanish and english) have a little bit more curvy pear shaped figure, a few freckles on my cheeks, bigger lips/smaller nose, i have brown curly hair, my smile is squinty, and i have central heterochromia (the much more common, kinda lame version of having two different color eyes) where the outside of my eye is green and a sharp ring around my iris is yellow (my mom calls them my stars<3) and, yeah for appearance ig thats it. as far as personality, i’m really just like if loralai Gilmore from Gilmore girls didn’t like coffee. i love photography, art, nature, cats, i collect old post cards/old photographs, i have an old 2003 digital camera i thrifted that i bring everywhere, my favorite colors are green/pink, i love taylor swift and mitski and alex g, i read comics, i take pictures of every tree andddd… lots of other stuff but i ramble haha anyways have a wonderful day<3<3 to infinity and beyond, mars ⭐️

A drabble!

You smiled to yourself as you snapped a picture of a grove of aspens, their leaves tainted a sophisticated gold that was complimented excellently by the afternoon sunshine.

“Over here!” You heard Lloyd beckon, making your head snap over in his direction.

Moving away from the aspens, you came to a gnarled old tree. Lloyd was standing proudly in front of it, pointing to it with a huge grin. “Isn’t it cool?”

You nodded eagerly, readying your camera already. A few seconds passed, and the little click never came. You pursed your lips, disgruntled. “I can’t get a good angle.”

Lloyd frowned, his brow furrowing in contemplation as he stared at the tree. Then, with a sudden light in his eyes, he stepped closer to you and dropped to his knees.

“Get on my shoulders.”

You hesitated, but decided that the picture would be worth the effort. You squealed as he practically jumped to his feet, jostling you perilously.

You finally snapped the perfect picture. Grinning at your camera, you rubbed Lloyd’s head affectionately.

“Thanks, sweetie. You can put me down now.”

Lloyd hummed in thought, drumming his hands on your knees for a moment before continuing down the trail with you still on his shoulders.

“Lloyd! Put me down!” You laughed, playfully smacking his head.

“No.” You could hear the smile in his voice.

It wasn’t until you completed your walk that Lloyd finally relented and put you down.

“Finally! You rascal,” you giggled, shoving him lightly.

“Hey, you got some good pictures, didn’t you?”

You huffed. “Okay, I will admit that.”

Lloyd winked with a good-natured grin. “Glad I could help.” He kissed your cheek, grasping your hand before continuing on your path home.

idk to me like. i dont know if this an obvious or common interpretation or whatever but post revival Garmadon is like. a different guy than og garmadon. like to me they are inherently separate characters with their own space in my brain. i can see s1-2 garm and sensei garm as the same man, but to me post revival garm is like a new guy.

so much of his arc to me is about coming to terms with the fact he is not this Other Person that everyone sees him as/tells him to be, and instead interpreting the memories he holds and relationships hes established in a new way that is unique to him and not the same as the "old" garmadon. he is a different person and he will never be the same as he used to be because the old garmadon died and instead he is this new person that everyone around him is not accepting. in all of s8-9 he is trying to formulate his identity around what he is told he is and how hes supposed to be and thats what leads him to being so confused about the world in s10 because he really doesnt know whats happening. he goes through a similar arc to wu in those seasons where wu has to readjust to the world around him and becomes a different person than he was before because he has to relearn everything and understand these memories of a past life entering his brain.

like. in the comic, s16, etc garmadon is going thru all these things trying to navigate his memories and who he is now and what he actually wants in life. and how he wants to be. because he doesnt know!! like hes just some guy and he doesnt know much about how the world is only faint memories of a past life and everyone is telling him to be something or other so hes just going with . Well harumi told me im the destroyer and i feel the urge to destroy so thats true. but lloyd says he is my family and i feel the urge to love and care for him so thats also true? but these things dont go together? it makes no sense? and so he goes to vinny to get this help understanding how these things *can* go together and how he can learn to become his own person and make sense of his experiences. because they are uniquely him!!

I fuckin LOVE ninjago holy shit I used to have a ‘crush’ (I’m aroace so it wasn’t an actual crush and tbh I still don’t know what it was to this day) on Zane as a child. Ninjago movie is decently funny and animated pretty well but there’s so much fucking character murder so beware if you haven’t watched it already. Anyways the ninja could totally fucking murder the joker.

1st of all, I too absolutely love zane hes wonderful

2nd, as someone coming from comics everything where u simply gotta embrace different versions of characters depending on the current Comic Writer and their whimsy, i view the ninjago movie as just a different interpretation of the characters and said Interpretation was wonderfully executed. Lloyd’s voice cast and writing is WONDERFUL as an angsty teen whos so self centered on his issues… it’s just great. Garmadon is fun in that movie and has not as much depth as the tv show but there IS depth and it’s well executed, and the designs are LOVELY! I adore the mech designs SO MUCH they’re so cool!!!

Also they 100% would murder the Joker but their age rating would only let them send him into another dimension where he couldn’t bother anyone ever again. None the less they would rock his shit within seconds

I have 10 Au's so far so here they are with a bit of info in no particular order

1. kidnapped kai au

ok so in this au kai unlocks his elemental powers before he met Wu causing garmadon to take an interest in him and so kai was the one who was kidnapped instead of nya and nya has to get kai back -she also joins the ninja team from the start and is told about her parents and their powers

I have fanfictuon out about this -just search the kidnapped kai au tag but im taking a break from updating so that I can plan it out more and have an outline

2. is my bnha crossover au

so this morro, garmadon and harumi get reincarnated into the bnha verse

morro becomes the adopted older brother of the main character midoriya

harumi becomes the twin of this crazy rich inventory girl

and garmadon becomes a theripist

they all basically help the main character achieve his end goal of becoming the no.1 hero without a superpower -idk if you watch bnha but basically 80% of the people there have a power called a quirk and the main character is a part of the 20% that don't)

Im also making an outline for this one so I might write it out sometime next Yearo making an outline for this one so I might write it out sometime next Year

3. hybrid smith siblings au

basically ray is a demon and maya is an angel they fell in love and were kicked out of their homes and hurled to earth -they use magic to keep their appearance hidden and nonbody knows

-until kai starts growing wings and horns

-nya grows them too but it starts at a certain age so at the start the focus is mostly on kai

I don't have much for this au besides its polyninja lol

I just think that jay would help with sensory overloads since Kai's senses inhance and also his wings are very sensitive

and zane would help kai with feeling different

and Cole is just the rock that knows what to say to ground him

thats literally all I have for this au

4. polyninja fam au

ok so in this au the ninja -who are all dating- get tired of saving ninja go and quit and run away -taking lloyd with them and adopting him ofc

-they also steal some yesterday's tea and turn lloyd back Into a kid so he can have the life head supposed to

-so first they live in the old lighthouse zanes dad was trapped in since its self sustaining -which is where they find echo who they also adopt

then slowly they each get jobs

-cole becomes a comic book artist/author

-kai and lloyd make video games (they also have cole make comics for said video games

-zane becomes a chef (who donates half his profits to orphanages)

-and jay works for cyrus borg

we also have polyponytail:

-nya and pixal help skylor out at the noodle shop

-they mostly help by making invitations to help with everything

-but if it's real busy they help in the restaurant

dareth and ronin are also dating and pretty much lloyd and echos uncles

-ronin uses them as a distraction to steal stuff though

-dareth is good at making up weird games

-they are good babysitters

also brad and gene become good friends with lloyd and echo

5. highschool au -this is also polyninja-

Zane and him feel a weird connection but neither of them remember their creator until tick-tock -this is all I have for this au

7. paranormal YouTubers au

this is an au im making for @/wojira and if u want more details u should probably ask her -I'll also tag u in the og post about this au if you ask

basically the ninja are collage sstudents who started a YouTube channel where they invest haunted places as a joke but they become super popular -again more details in the original post if you ask-

8. manipulative morro au

me and @/thebluelittlewitch2-thesequel made this but @/superstar-rockin-abs and @/grembeak gave hs the idea i think

basically lloyd didn't get hit by tomorrows tea so instead of possessing lloyd morro manipulates him into doing things for him by saying that lloyd gone crazy and the only way for 'the voicemail' -aka morro- to go away is for him to do certain things

harumi later teams up with morro for a second try on revenge andalso becomes more of a mother figure to lloyd then a lover -lloyd is a bit younger then her in this au

she uses her powers to start an orphanage but really its a place for her to train and raise a cult of parentless children that they are orphans because of lloyd and that if they follow her they can all have revenge

her code name is changed respectively to 'mother lullaby' and morro's is 'toxic wind'

9. evil ed and edna au

basically Ed and edna are evil assasins/ inventors who become obsessed with making the ultimate weapon

they basically turn jay into a hydra experiment -training him and experimenting on him over and over and over-

but eventually they decide that he is a failed experiment and abandon him -at this point he looks far from human

but kai and nya find him and take him in -he is a year older then nya so nya is ten hes eleven and kai is 13-

at first jay thinks he was kiddnaped but there is no way these kids could have so then he thinks that him being there is another test and he has to figure out what it is but eventually he figures out he was abandoned

he helps the smith siblings by inviting things that help them around the house -and also making toys for nya and kai-

they become a small family

Counting Stars Lloyd Garmadon: Chapter 4

I could feel the faint glimpse of a pink dusty cheeks as I knocked on the door with the comic in my hand. It was old and seam on the spine was coming off. It looked like it was a book that had been loved.

Books were written to be meant to be loved. However, I couldn't tell if I would learn to love the book. I knocked on the door of my house, and I waited as patiently as I heard footsteps. It was going to be my mom, and she wouldn't care if Robin didn't want me back inside. I had already had enough of my sister for one day. My mother opened the door.

"[Y/N], where have you been?" Mom asked.

"Doomsday Comics." I mumbled.

I pushed past her to enter my house, and I walked towards my room. I put the comic on my bedside table.

"See you got in." Robin said popping her head in.

"Yeah, I did." I replied.

"Then, you shouldn't be that angry in the first place. [Y/N], you got in. Welcome, to the Club." Robin said before dashing down the hall.

Club? What club? Sometimes sisters are more cryptic than teachers are. And that was one of the reasons that Robin was amazing. True, the stunt she just pulled was a low-key villain move, but she wanted me to have a chance meeting with a friend.

She wanted me to go around town and meet a friend. Perhaps, I did make a friend in the form of Lloyd. Part of me thought she sent me out to find Lloyd. She sent me out knowing that whoever this boy was needed a friend.

Robin was always good with deciphering between good and face compatibility between friends and lovers. I just wish she used that with Alice.

The next morning came by and I read the first comic of Starfarer. It was a quick read (well for me anyway). And I reached for my phone texting Lloyd I had finished. And so, with an impending bonding session with my comic supplier looming over my head, I got dressed and headed downstairs. I found a note tapped to the fridge.

Had to do an early shift at the hospital. -love mom.

Zelena a doctor? Technically, a surgeon. It made no sense initially, but she was actually really good with it. Plus, it was something legal she could do. Another note was added at the bottom. By Robin.

I left for work. C u when I get home around 6.

What kind of job had you working a twelve hour shift for minors? I shrugged it off, grabbed my harry potter hoody (and put it on), and left the house leaving a note behind too. On the same piece of paper.

It was something my family did with one another. We leave notes of where we're going on an already pre-existing note unless you're the first one to write a note that day. It's tradition to be a Greene.

But it also kept track of where anyone was at a given point of time. I walked to the coffee shop where Lloyd said he'll meet me. I ordered a [F/D] and went to go sit at a table. I was looking out the window (as it was a table by the window) when Lloyd walked in, ordered, and sat down.

I turned to the blonde sixteen year old noticing all the dirty looks everyone was giving him. I wanted to ask him about it, but I didn't want to push it.

"So, you finished the issue?" Lloyd asked me.

"Yeah. It was better than I thought it would be." I admitted to him. "Well, here you go."

I slipped the comic over to him as I took the second one he brought.

"So, where did you move from?" He asked me.

"Hyperion." I told him.

"That's a big difference." He said amused.

"It was. Ninjago City is so different. And we all miss it, but my mom. She had to get away from it all. She told us it would do us good to come here. I never doubted her. Except my sister. She had to leave the girl she was in love with behind. Although, Robin never did anything about her Alice issue." I told him.

When I said my sister's name, I saw a look of realization dawn on him. Like he knew who I was. Like he knew who my sister was. And just as I was about to ask him about it, my phone beeped.

Left my lunch at home. Can you bring it to me at my job? The address is xxxxxxxxxxx.

"I'm sorry, but I have to go. Do you want to meet here again tomorrow?" I asked him.

"Yeah, that's cool." said Lloyd.

Third

"Robin, how did you forget your lunch?" Cole asked the girl.

"I just did okay?" Robin snapped at the ninja of earth. "But my sister should be here shortly. She's normally fast when it's me asking her for something."

"Robin, Lloyd just texted. He says your evil." Kai told her looking at his phone (most likely in the camera app in selfie mode using it as a mirror).

"No idea why he would say that." My mother is the Wicked Witch of the West and the Dark One teaches my sister magic.

•Give this girl a hug

•Severe depression

•Cries a lot

-She has mixed feelings about it

•Seeing the ninja hurts her sometimes because it’s just so painful for her to see them in those states

•Sometimes gets gifts from the ninja, though she usually throws them out

•Lonely

•Unlike the other ninja, he is not homicidal

-Unless it comes to someone attempting to hurt those under his protection

•Almost never lets anyone leave his temple

-Except the ninja

-Even with them he’s always reluctant to do so, insisting they stay longer

•Has those ‘tear’ markings etched into his skin

-Probably from crying? Idk can ghosts even cry?

•He’s very social

•Does whatever he can to make his ‘guests’ comfortable

•Draws but doesn’t paint, due to the liquids

•Still loves cake

•Only gets upset when people try to leave

-Seriously, he gets extremely scary when that happens

•Had a falling out with Lloyd

JAY

•Still a total babey

•Has a lot of scars

•Bedazzles his eyepatches

•Is one of the tamest ninja

•Steals candy and comics and video games

-Spoil something for him and there’s a high chance you’ll die

•Is one of the few people allowed in Zane’s territory

•Still best friends with Cole

-Brings him stuff all the time & spends the most time with him

•Only lets people into his pirate crew if they’re serious about joining, not if they’re only looking for protection

-If they’re looking for protection he sends them over to Cole

•Hangs out with Lloyd sometimes

-They love to raid candy shops together

•Has tried to have Nya join his crew once or twice, but she declined, and he respected her choices

-Jay is,,,very respectful

•He avoids joining the conflict between the Resistance and SoG because he doesn’t want to get involved. He only does so when needed.

•More of an anti-hero than a villain

LLOYD

•Pulls his dad away from the whole “ruling ninjago” thing to hang out

•Difficult to keep up with him

•Sometimes pokes his own beans

•Manicures his claws

•Braids Garmadon’s hair

•Floofy tail,,,so soft

-He’ll use it to steal shit and hold knives tho

-He will shank you

•Lil’ Nelson is under his protection and is like his younger brother

-Nelson strongly disapproves of all the evilness Lloyd has going for him tho

-Still he does his best to ignore that

•While Kai loathes him, Lloyd doesn’t feel the same towards Kai

•When he begun his transformation into oni, he had growing pains

-Like, that shit h u r t

-Garm took care of him during the process and consoled him the whole time

•Had trouble adjusting to his new body

-He kept tripping over his tail or losing his balance

-And he broke a lot of the stuff he picked up by accident

-Not to mention his horns smacked into things above him

ZANE

•Angery boi

•Hates humanity for various reasons; is only ever tolerant of the other ninja plus a sparse few humans

•Still pretty good friends with Cole and Jay

-He lets Jay into his territory freely

•Rebuilt/Reprogrammed a lot of nindroids to their semi-original states. That includes Cryptor plus Min-Droid

•Echo is Mr. E in this au and Zane finds his parts and rebuilds him

-They have a very long ‘talk’ that spans over days until they finally come to terms with shit between them

-Oh boy I must also add that Zane was pissed at SoG for hurting Echo

-Zane bitch slaps Garmadon, but that is a story for another day

•If he catches you mistreating technology in any way he will pulverize you

-Insult your Alexa at your own risk

•His area is the most technologically advanced

•Sometimes he hears a voice inside his head

-He and Kai are both a part of the “Hearing Voices” club

•Has a semi-rivalry with Cryptor

•One of the most ruthless ninja. He has frozen humans at the edges of his territory as a warning to others

•You rarely ever see his old personality except when he’s interacting with Jay or Cole

SKYLOR

•Shaves some of her hair to keep it out of the way

-It looks 👌

•Part of the Nya Protection Squad™️ along with Pixal and Ronin

-oh yeah ronin got broken out of jail

•Doesn’t like visiting or being around Kai. It just...it makes her feel off

•Gets along with Jay pretty well when interacting with him

•She and Zane mutually respect each other

PIXAL

•Extremely hostile against Cryptor

-Seriously they fight every chance they get

•Zane offered her the chance to join him, but she refused and he respected her decision. He of course said that the offer was always open if she changed her mind, though.

•Her interactions with Ronin are...tense

Hi I love how in the comic you posted with Kai bringing Lloyd to garmadon, when garm here's someone coming in he turns and his pupils are all dilated but then when he sees who it is they expand, I just thought that that was a cool detail
