बता दें रविवार को जौलीग्रांट में 136 मिमी, बागेश्वर के शामा में 101.3 मिमी, देहरादून में 93.1 मिमी, कर्णप्रयाग में 42.5 मिमी और नरेंद्रनगर में 42.3 मिमी बरसात रिकॉर्ड की गई। सोमवार सुबह हुई भारी बरसात के कारण दर्शनलाल मैदान पर विशाल बरगद का पेड़ धराशाही हो गया, जिससे पास के मंदिर की दीवारों भी शतिग्रस्त हो गई। पथरीबाग में बिजली का पोल टूटने से आवागमन का रास्ता कुछ समय तक बंद रहा।

अनेक वर्षे उलटून गेली आणि मुलीच्या कुटुंबीयांनी सतत विनवणी करूनही, मुलीला शोधण्यात पोलिसांना अपयश आले, थोड्या वेळाने त्यांच्या मुलीचे जावेद शेखने अपहरण केल्याचे कुटुंबियांना समजले.

शरमेच्या भीतीने कुटुंबीयांनी अपहरणाची माहिती कोणालाच दिली नाही पण मुलीचा शोध घेण्याचा जोरदार प्रयत्न केला, या शोधात मुलीच्या भावाने त्याच्या मित्राच्या मदतीने जावेद हा त्यांच्या मंचर गावचा रहिवासी असल्याचे शोधून काढले. त्याचे घर आणि आठवडे त्याचे निरीक्षण केले.

नंतर शेजाऱ्यांकडे चौकशी केल्यावर त्यांना कळले की जावेदच्या घरी नुकतीच एक नवीन मुलगी आली होती आणि ती नवीनच 'फॅमिली मेंबर' होती. त्यांच्या मुलीचे त्यांच्या इच्छेविरुद्ध जबरदस्तीने लग्न करण्यात आल्याचे कुटुंबीयांना समजले, म्हणून त्यांनी १६ मे रोजी घरात घुसण्याचा निर्णय घेतला.

एका खोलीत त्यांनी त्यांची मुलगी हिजाबात दिसली, ती मुलगी तिच्या गाभ्याला घाबरली होती!मुलगी त्यांना घाबरते आणि त्यांच्या इच्छेविरुद्ध लग्न केल्याचा त्यांचा रोष असा कुटुंबाचा पूर्वीचा अंदाज होता. पण सत्य त��म्हाला चकित करेल.
