Dating apps came to stay. The number of apps with romantic purposes got out of proportion, every week a new best seller pops up on the apple store. “LoveMiracle”, “GeekRomance”, “SexAndSex” are the top 3 most downloaded applications.  

According to the Love Institute in Finland, 85% of the couples that met each other on the past year in Europe used an app, so the question is, “does anyone still remembers how to meet people without internet?”.

Online dating brings to the table a huge number of different happy endings and we can acknowledge that the best achievement tinder and bumble brought to the world was the crazy diversity of couples born in the last 5 years, in terms of: ethnicity, religion, background, jobs and specially geographical location. The concept of love changed drastically, relationships last less, monogamy is not a priority and the goal is not, finding a life partner, but find a partner to share an experience, either on the short term or on the long term. Forever is no longer on the equation and people don’t seem to be worried about that. The pressure is intense, players, because in the end this is also a game, need to be better and bring more into the relationship because expectations are higher, lovers are more experienced and demanding, time is short and everything can end as fast as it started.
