YEONJUN

your body is changing and with that you have to get to know its new form

there are two major things that are affected in your daily life:

one thing is that you have a different capacity of moving through a day, a different sense of how you feel your body

Yeonjun will be by your side when you actively decide to workout, monitoring your capacity and reminding you to do it at your pace, letting you discover how your body currently works.

If you grow frustrated that one exercise is not as easy as it used to be, he reminds you that it is perfectly fine, that with lifestyle, mental and physical changes, you experience changes in almost every realm and that it is not a bad thing, just a natural one.

He motivates you, dries your tears, holds your hand to help you with your balance, but also to prove that you are not alone, that he literally got you.

Besides sports, he gives you an abundance of loving touches, massaging you, caressing you, cuddling you, he wants to make you feel your body comfortably, welcoming you in this world in every singly form you go through in life.

the other thing is how you perceive your vessel

Yeonjun will fund your new wardrobe. Clothes that fit and you feel confident in.

You might be uncomfortable with your current clothes, so he will make sure to not only express that you can take his, he will put a pile of clothes on the bed in the morning, so that you can simply reach out and put fabric with his scent on you.

If it’s a day you especially struggle, he will dress you himself, gently pushing sleeves over your arm and he will add kisses and hugs, letting you rest in his presence, to make sure to remind you of comfort’s existence when you initially cannot find yourself feeling comfortable in your skin.

If you enjoy going shopping by yourself he’ll give you money and lets you buy whatever you want. He will also always let some money in your pocket in case you spontaneously stumble upon a piece of fashion you find gorgeous, so you can get it right away.

If you want to go shopping, but you feel like you cannot handle it by yourself, seeing your unfamiliar reflection in the unflattering light of the changing rooms, he’ll join you and he will be rather picky with what you should get.

He will judge clothes with all of his honesty, keeping a high standard omnipresent, because you deserve the best of the best regarding the financial capacity he can provide.

Quality over quantity.

SOOBIN

you have built some habits that are rather destructive and you want to get rid of them

Soobin will first of all always listen to what you are telling him, quietly sitting next to you and nodding along you animately taking about what’s on your mind.

When it comes to actually working on getting rid of habits, let’s say, trying to not look at your phone first thing in the morning, he will observe you in the beginning without interfering.

Only when you grow frustrated, because you cannot manage to break the habit, he offers help that he only lives by when you accept it.

He’s help you come up with habit replacements, letting you switch off your alarm on your phone and immediately imitates the melody, making you laugh at first, but you join him.

He would ask you to do stuff, just so you can transition between moments without returning to the undesired habit.

In this case, he’ll ask you if you’d make him coffee, knowing that you love the scent of it.

So, slowly, but surely, you build a new routine excluding the tasks you dislikes and Soobin’s celebrating every step on the way to a slightly yet impactful different course of your day that allows you to go to bed more carefreely and at peace.

BEOMGYU

you used to be carefree in social realms, but people hurt you over and over again and even though you thought you would be able to handle it, you learnt that the past will eventually catch on and limit your abilities that you used to see as your irrefutable strong suits

Beomgyu knows you as being talkative and bubbly, joking with people and making them laugh. He watched you speaking to strangers, just because you found them interesting, asking them about what book they were reading and presented your current fav or where they got their jacket from, telling them that it would perfectly fit to your new pants.

He registers you becoming more and more timid, finding you sitting quietly, listening to the people around you and he waited for you to jump in with a horrible pun you would spontaneously come up with just for the joy of it, but you do it less and less.

When you have to prepare for a presentation, he watches you practicing it the same way you used to, but has a message on his phone, asking if he can pick you up, at a time that he expects you to still be in class.

He learns that you are not doing well in talking in front of people anymore and embraces you after the presentation, holding your shaking hands and caressing your palm with his fingers in a rhythm that you can use to match your breathing with.

When people talk over your quiet voice, strength not vocalize your thoughts needing to be build up every time you want to say something, he will speak up to ask you directly what you wanted to say during a break of conversation and even when no opportunity arises in that moment, he will make sure to ask you later on, so that you can tell at least him.

He wants to make sure, you will always have someone who listens to your thought, regardless whether you bring them out all shy and quiet or loud and excited.

At days you really cannot bring yourself to speaking without tearing up, he offers you to write.

Sometimes you put only key-words onto the paper and let him talk about whatever comes to his mind, nodding in agreement or shaking your head in disagreement, to convey your connotation in the most minimalistic way possible.

At other times you write whole essays in your diary and let it open on your bed, a signal for Beomgyu to have concerns to read through your thoughts.

Beomyu will not be less entertained by you. You are still the same funny and exhilarating person you used to be. You just express yourself differently, and that is fine. Outgoing or not outgoing, you are just as valid as always, and the world changes and so do you.

TAEHYUN

you used to be academically high achieving, but now life is not as favorable for being able to focus on studying like you knew it

you struggle with two things:

one is that academic validation used to be your evidence for being smart and without good grades you doubt your own intellect, causing you to feel insecure and stupid

Taehyun will ask you for your expertise often.

Even if you feel like your knowledge is not profound enough, he will assure you that you are valuable regardless of what numbers on paper say.

He asks you a lot about your hobbies, just to listen to you rant about topics in such depths that not only he finds inspiration and knowledge, but you do yourself, having fun with what your brain is capable of instead of only harassing it for productivity.

the other thing is that you used to have high goals that required good grades, but now you find yourself with the unfamiliarity of not envisioning the same future for you anymore and you do not know what do do and where to go, lost the sense of what you actually want

Taehyun loves to daydream with you, just talking about everything and anything, fantasizing about the most unrealistic ideas, because he believes that there is always to an access the making reality similar to fantasy. You only have to return to thinking realistically, adding the valuable pinch of fantasy into your daily life.

That is how he helps you explore yourself.

Besides that, he will take you to new places and into new situations, also familiar places and situations, and lets you evaluate those, looking out for whether you enjoyed it and what specifically, so that you find orientation in what makes you currently happy.

Even if you find yourself discovering something that makes you feel embarrassed, he will react in excitement, infecting you with the curiosity of who you are right now rather than who you used to be and he will love you with every new thing you embody and says goodby to everything you decide to let go with utmost thankfulness.

KAI

you used to make sure to not be an inconvenience for people, but you grew sick of unnecessarily considering everything and everyone around you without considering yourself

Kai likes you being easy-going, but he hates seeing situations not being easy-going for you. You are giving so much with nothing in return, aware that he can not just expect you to get everything without asking for anything.

You might worry that you turn out being too much, too high maintenance if you start claiming requirement, so Kai suggests that you start with verbalizing your wishes and expectation to him more nonchalantly, calling him out for not tidying up after him or directly asking him to get you a pretty rose, you see in a flower shop.

He reminds you that people around you are autonomous individuals and can decline requests or compromise with you when you feel like you might be too harsh and careless.

Kai will comfort you when you are uncomfortable and not able to stick up for yourself, following people’s preferences that do not go against your own but don't align with you as well as they could if you showed initiative, and he lets you rant and be annoyed and embrace the emotions until you realize again that you can take action and protect your well-being and that you deserve to do so.

He proudly watches you becoming more confident and carrying yourself with a better sense of responsibility and respect, and he himself grows, inspired and motivated by you.

by your side 100% of the time you cannot get rid of him.

he's over your bed when you wake up in the morning, waiting outside the bathroom door for you, laying right next to while you're sleeping. everywhere you are, so is yeonjun

will bend over backwards to get you anything you need

water? medicine? soup? more blankets? less blankets? he's on it before you can even ask

cooks for you !!! tries to make your food as interesting as possible so you won't get bored, without adding things that will make you feel worse or aren't good for you

you're bedridden. don't even try to fight him

he won't let you lift a finger, he wants you to get as much rest as possible so you can get better as quickly as possible

infact don't even speak, he'll learn morse code so you can just beep him whenever you need

if his schedule allows he'll stay home with you and be by your side every second of the day, if not he's texting you every free moment he has to make sure you're okay

would definitely call in sick if you were feeling particularly tired and need his care that day

has multiple reminders to make sure you're taking your medicine on time, will scold you if you're even a second late

he'll never tell you but he secretly enjoys you being sick . . .

he love love loves to take care of you, especially when you call on him to do things for you it makes him all giddy knowing you need him (he's not a creep i swear)

hates to see you sick

1. because it's gross 2. because he hates seeing you in pain but mainly because it's gross

you're not staying in his bed i'm sorry he's gonna come over to your house to take care of you during the day and go home to his snot free blankets at night

gets your medicine mixed up all the time and complains it's the doctor's fault for prescribing ones that look so similar

low-key takes advantage of this situation so he can skip work and spend some quality time with you LMAOOO

at first it's fun because you just have your average head cold so he doesn't worry too much

but then it starts getting worse and he comes home to you falling over yourself in the kitchen because of your dizzy spells and nearly has a stroke

although you did enjoy his company and the endless marvel marathons so all is well

from brushing your hair to fluffing your pillows he's gonna do it all

he'll even clean for you, that's his ultimate declaration of love

in the end he didn't really do much to nurse you back to health but A for effort

BEOMGYU | 범규

i know practically everyone in moaville would say he'd tease the shit out of you but in my head he'd be the most worried for you

googles every single one of your symptoms and then cries himself to sleep because myonlineclinic.com told him you have cholera and 6 days to live

the only reason he'd tease you is to mask his worry

he'd watch you go through 60 boxes of tissues and be like "omg my snotty baby" but on the inside he's freaking out 😭

your pain is his pain, the way you feel affects him and his mood drastically

he's irritable when you are, he's tired when you are, your appetites probably sync too

puts a curse on whoever spread their nasty germs to you with ginger roots and vinegar

i think he'd also be the most sympathetic since he gets sick a lot more often than the others

so gentle and understanding compared to his usual self it's a little scary 😭

surprisingly good at negotiation like you're being stubborn because you don't want to take your medicine and he's like "if you drink the cough syrup i'll let you listen to the demos for our next comeback" and before you know it you've sold your childhood home to him for 3/4 of the initial price

will whip out his guitar and sing for you in a heartbeat if you ask him too

obviously tries to crack jokes and make you smile so you don't feel too miserable, he feels so accomplished even if you just scoff at him 🙁

gets back to his usual annoying self once you're better though

TAEHYUN | 태현

ironically, he doesn't know what to do

he rarely gets sick and when he does it passes in a day or two, so when you've been coughing like you have bronchitis for the past week he feels so lost

his first instinct is to take you to the doctor to figure out what's wrong but gets into a fight with doctor for charging him 19382928 won just to press his hand to your forehead and tell him you have a head cold (terry is against this capitalist society)

also buys the entire pharmacy

changes your entire lifestyle to the maximum efficiency so you get better as quickly as possible and makes sure you stick to it

strict like a prison warden, sometimes you wonder if he actually loves you

which he obviously does, but it's hard to believe so when he avoids any unnecessary contact with you as if you have the plague

takes you outside every once in a while to get some fresh air, he feels stuffy just watching you sit around

it also keeps you active 💪

he's always pestering you to wash your hands

will not let you touch him otherwise

makes sure he keeps your space clean, always has tissues and anything else you might need within your reach

at your aid 24/7

you take up a colossal space in his heart he's so soft for you

flying to your side before you even say anything

you don't even have to tbh he can read your mind

"how'd you know i wanted water?" "you looked thirsty"

if he notices you're feeling extra miserable he'll sing for you to cheer you up

swallows his pride because he's down bad and pulls out his best southern accent when you ask him to sing country music

he will be teased for the next millenia but it was worth it for you

he's like an overbearing mother but you get better the fastest when he's taking care of you

HUENINGKAI | 휴닝카이

another mama's boy

probably calls his sisters too

hiyyih would tell him to soak your pills in vegetable oil as a joke but he'll actually do it because he's just that hopeless

he's unable to think straight he just wants to do everything in his power to make you feel better 😭

although he gets the hang of it pretty quickly, he's a fast learner and genuinely enjoys taking care of you

always praising you !!

"wow yn!! i can't believe you ate all your soup!!! you're so cool!!!"

tries to distract you by showing you his entire collection of pokemon cards

probably lies and tells you they're all super rare and he's the only one in the world who has them

does his best not to cause you any stress, he just wants you to focus on resting

the things this man does because he loves you istg

he cleans the entire dorm because it's a breeding ground for bacteria and he doesn't want anything making you more sick

the guys come home to the house spotless they're just like 🤯🤯🤯🤯

taehyun asks you to get sick more often if it means he doesn't have to fight his way through the ironing board and bike to get to the sink

he even lets you play on his DS he's down bad

side rant: i feel like kai is secretly a neat freak, he abhors the sight of filth but is just too lazy to do anything about it so he forces himself to deal with it 💀

anyway he's such a sweetheart :( does his best to keep the mood up even if you're feeling miserable because your nose is so filled with so much snot that you can't breathe

his positive energy definitely rubs off on you!!!

he actually does a good job taking care of you, he's a bit stressed at first but you're back to good health in no time !!!

The Ring

“Don’t tell me you’re actually gonna buy something from here. This place is low-key creeping me out, Jisung.” Seungmin eyed the slightly-older boy with judgment. They’d been exploring one of their tour cities and had come across an antique shop. It was littered with dolls and other children’s toys—all of which Seungmin felt like were staring him down. There was also vintage furniture and electronics. The cameras did sort of pique Seungmin’s interest, but he already had a really nice modern camera. Besides, this store was really starting to freak him out.

Why did all the dolls have to be so scary?

“Just let me look through some of the jewelry… These rings are cool, and they’re so high-quality.” Jisung reasoned, never able to say no to a new piece of jewelry.

“Yeah, ‘cause you totally need another ring to add to your collection. You definitely don’t have over a hundred rings that you’ve never even worn because you always wear the same ones.” Regardless, Seungmin left to let Jisung pick out rings, deciding to go further into the store to escape the many glass eyes.

Jisung was trying to narrow down his choices between three rings when he suddenly spotted one that he hadn’t seen before. He put the other three back and walked over to the cashier’s glass desk.

“Um… Excuse me?” He called for the attention of the owner and then pointed towards the ring. “How much for that ring?” The old lady walked over, peered into the glass, and then looked up to Jisung with a wary look. She eyed him for a moment, almost as though considering something.

“It’s about five dollars, but are you sure about that one? It’s quite old…” But Jisung thought it looked nice, and he had a good feeling about that one. It really stuck out to him.

“Yes ma’am, thank you.” He insisted, pulling his wallet out to pay. When she began to package it, he told her he was fine wearing it out.

Despite Seungmin’s claims—which were not entirely baseless, Jisung did have a shit-ton of rings back home he never wears—Jisung wore his new addition almost daily. So much so that he started growing a weird attachment to it in some of the other’s eyes.

He cleaned it often, even polished it sometimes. Though, he never took it to performances in fear of it getting stolen or lost; instead, when he wasn’t wearing it, it had a special home on his nightstand.

One morning he woke up, reached out to put his ring on, and came up empty handed. He did a double-take when he didn’t feel his new favorite ring anywhere near its usual spot. He looked all around his nightstand, underneath his bed, and tore his blankets off in case he accidentally fell asleep wearing it.

Nothing. He could not find it anywhere. As he re-made his bed, he tried to remember if there was anywhere else he may have left it. He checked the bathroom sink, just to be sure, but he was ninety-nine percent sure he had put it on his nightstand, just like he did every night.

Then he took to checking his roommates' fingers. None of them were wearing it, so he asked if any of them took it without asking first.

And then he began to panic. He wondered if he had carelessly taken it to a performance or shoot and left it behind. When he went back to his room to try and think more, there it sat right where he always put it. The things all around it were still a mess from his hasteful search earlier, but it sat perfect and pretty in its proper position. Strange.

Jisung elected not to take it on tour with him. After somehow misplacing it, he didn’t want to risk actually losing it in travels. He packed some of his other rings to accompany him to Japan instead and left his favorite ring to wait for him on his nightstand as usual.

What he didn’t expect to return to, was a woman sitting comfortably in the middle of his bed as though she lived there. He wasn’t sure how exactly she got in either since he locks his room every time they leave, but he sure as hell wasn’t going to stick around to ask her.

Instead, he rushed to get Chan, explaining that somehow a sasaeng must have gotten in and was currently sitting in his room. When they returned with a manager that lived in the building, the woman was gone. The only thing that was different was his favorite ring sitting in the center of his bed rather than the nightstand.

The other members were still convinced it had been a sasaeng, and she must’ve snuck out somehow. When Jisung brought up the fact that nothing was missing and the only thing that had moved was his ring, they claimed she was likely planning on taking it since Stays knew it was his favorite. He was commonly seen wearing it in selfies and livestreams, so it wouldn’t be that far fetched of an explanation.

Jisung was not convinced. He wasn’t unaware of his quick attachment to the ring. And he knows that he never forgets to put it on his nightstand at night. The newest incident was just the cherry on top.

But what kind of ghost possesses a ring? A house, sure. A mirror, believable. A doll, seen thousands of times. But a ring? Jisung needed to know why, and why it… she chose him.

He didn’t have to wait long. The next night he woke from a rather peaceful sleep to the sounds of shuffling around his room. When he peeked his eyes open, the same woman was rifling through his drawers.

“Um… hello?” He whispered out, scared to disturb the quiet atmosphere of his room and not wanting to wake his other members. “Are– Do you live inside my ring?” He asked, but he got his answer when he noticed his ring was once again missing from its place.

“Well, technically it’s my ring, but you bought it so… yes.” She responded, putting the clothes she was holding back in the drawer and closing it.

“What are you looking for?” He decided to ask first, too nervous to ask the other questions on his mind yet. She shrugged and moved closer to his half-sitting, half-lying figure. “Why are you in the ring?” He tried asking next.

“Like I said… It's my ring.” He thought she was going to stop there but then her features softened, and she spoke up again. “It was my fiancé’s ring… but he passed away before we could marry. We believed in reincarnation, and I wanted to see him in his next life, so here I am.” Jisung felt his heart break at the story, though not yet outweighing the anxiety of having a supernatural being in his room.

“So… why me? You’re the reason I noticed the ring in that shop I assume… and the reason I’m so attached.” The woman smiled slightly, but shook her head.

“I can’t make you do anything. It’s all on your own volition. Jisung, is it?” She waited for confirmation, and when he nodded, she continued. “Jisung, do you recognize me at all?” He studied her features for a moment.

“You were in my room the other day when we all got back from Japan.” He said, not knowing any other answer to give. She snorted a bit, before it settled into a smirk.

“I’ve manifested this form more than just that time. But do you recognize me?” She asked again; and again, Jisung analyzed her, trying to pick up on any familiarities. Eventually, he shook his head, and it seemed like the woman’s face fell slightly. He wanted to ask her about it, but decided he might not be ready for whatever answer she gave.

“So, can you feel and see when you’re inside the ring too, or only in this form?” He decided to ask instead. The woman seemed to consider his question. Her face lit up in amusement, and Jisung assumed she was remembering something.

“The short answer is yes, I can sort of feel things when I’m inside the ring.”

“And the long answer?” Curious, he couldn’t help but ask. Her lips twitched with a humored smirk.

“The long answer… Maybe don’t masturbate with the ring on, Ji.” His face flushed with embarrassment and he moved to hide underneath his covers. “Trust me, you have nothing to be embarrassed about that for.” She teased and he felt like his entire body lit on fire all at once.
