I noticed a pattern with my favorite characters so I mapped it on a venn diagram.

Also, to clarify, the ‘Jerk’ category doesn’t necessarily mean they’re a bad person. For some of them, it means they put up walls and act kinda rude in order to not let others see their true selves. Or, they act like they’re really cool but in a ruder way.

Anyway, here’s something I should discuss with my therapist a funny little diagram.

Some of the later pets weren’t That bad. Like yea I do agree that the tv show based toys from like 2013-2016 weren’t that great and kinda fugly looking, but with some of the 2020 pets, why yes not as iconic as the 2000s lps that we know and love, I still believe some people were really harsh on some of these pets cuz like they did look really cute tho! My only problem with the pets was the fact they had names tbh 2. Not every g2 lps molds were perfect. Some really good examples of older lps molds being kinda ugly were the first Jack Russel and poodle molds. I’ve also mentioned about the skunk/Squrriel molds were pretty lazy since it’s just the same mold . They didn’t even try to make them different from each other. Like say what you will but at least with some of the newer pets between 2013-2020 they were at least trying to make the skunk and squirrel molds different from each other. also the opossum molds was not all that great tbh..

3. The worse thing that ever happened to lps was the Blythe loves lps toy line. No joke idk why they thought this was good. I mean if you guys loved the Blythe dolls that’s fine, to me I always found them off putting since well, they just didn’t fit personally. Like you’re the one who’s caring the pets or this is a world where it’s run by pets. There was never any mention about humans tbh. Again this is prob coming from bitter younger me lol. But in all seriousness though, never really liked Blythe dolls tbh

4. People need to Chill out about the some of the rerelease of lps. Yes I understand, I’m just as nervous and excited as the rest of you guys however I genuinely feel as if people are really making a mountain out of a hill over some prototypes and a blind bag. Like I understand that everyone’s burned out by bad decisions after bad decisions within the lps Franchise. And yes blind bags are overused and annoying however, Guys.. they’re not just gonna make only just blind bags, they’re gonna do other stuff for lps soon just be patient. Not to mention at the end of the day, they’re still just silly little pets for kids. Can you critique the toys? Of course! But just remember that it ain’t that deep. 5. They should bring back that one brown poodle mold

yes this one! its cute as hecc! and i wish they would bring this back 6. This cat isn't a "Wolf-Cat" Its a maine coon. This isn't even an opinion or anything, i just wanna let people know that its suppose to be a maine coon. also the actual "wolf-cat" is called Lykoi and idk how that breed of cat would look as an lps.

7. the main reason back in 2013 Lps was having a reboot was due to MLP having a reboot. that's just my theory tho.

8. I feel like a lot of people keep forgetting that 90s LPS exist. Like whenever people say "g1" they don't think about the kenner Lps toys, they were thinking about the 2000's lps that was popularized by hasbro. and tbh that kinda sucks.. cuz why yes the kenner toys were more into realism, i still geninually, like the kenner lps figures they were rad.

9. The sticker eyes lps were cute, I actually liked them 10. One pet peeve I had with LPS popular, is that technically, Brook should of been arrested or at least suspended since she did attack Savannah first. Not to mention, doesn't this school have like cameras or something!? i know this has been years since I've watched LPS popular but like, bruh, Why don't her parents believe her!

Umm.. I dont really have any other opinions nor thoughts at the moment. idk feel free to ask me anything lps related and I'll give my honest opinions.

Another LPS post

HAHAHAH My mom found some videos of me playing and unlocked memories. For the longest time I think my favorite lps was that purple bunny who seems to be named lizzy or something- and I remember she had lowkey tension with the yellow flying squirrel who was sort of like a Justin Bieber (but from the time he sang "baby, baby OHHH" I don't remember if they actually dated??? I think it was more like the squirrel had a little crush on her but without knowing? So he felt good being around her but never quite identifed why? And Eliza was also comfortable with him but didn't feel the need to rush anything. Rn I feel like they are like Zendaya and Tom Holand lmao.

BUT THEN- on my childhood video, my yellow dog screamed too loud when Eliza was on a model contest and when the next participant came in (which I forgot who it was but it was pretty) Both judges beside him gave her a 10 and he was like hmm 8:/ BUT WITH ELIZA HE WAS ALL LIKE WUUUUU WOOOOOO 10 HAHAHAH anyways- just for fun

Odd LPS Plushies

Now these are probably the weirdest LPS stuffed toys i've cover so far due to-well, I don't even know!

I've have yet to even identify the brand and the fact these are most likely a EU exclusive plush line, the language barrier has been tough. Not only that but every photo I've found conveniently has the tag flipped over. The material they chose to use for the eyes is odd i haven't encountered any other LPS plush that used this. It looks like the type of plastic that is used for logos on shirts.

This dude is clearly based off of this dude. this becomes a theme of some of the others :p

It also has it's very own mini version. It's not super noticeable but they don't have paw beans or their leg markings. then there's another alternate that is the same as the other mini but does have yellow-orange paws. this also becomes a theme!

Bunny!

This guy is a replica of a VIP LPS plush AND has two other alternate sizes A mini and a large boi! (at least I think it's a big guy)

Squirrel

One with fluff and the other smooth :( they shaved them </3 (and also has embroidered eye lining.. interesting!)

Bear

One ver with paw beans, and other with out (also darker colors and larger?)

Loved that lil note In all, only one photo with them all together, wow! The main areas I saw this dude in were France, Russia, England, and Germany. Do you know the manufacturer?

Here are some Wonderful Pretty Cure Predictions I have!

With the title making a pun of the onomatopoeia for barking. Our lead cure is gonna be dog themed

The gimick will be pets (something akin to LPS or The Fairy Pets from Winx Club)

The cures will work at a pet themed place my money is on a pet store or vet

Since Tropical Rouge, I’ve seen a pattern where we get a non-pink, pink, and non-pink. If the pattern continues, it’s possible will get a pink lead again. However, I’d go for a green or purple lead too!

MOTW’s would definitely be animals similar to TMM’s monsters

Probably won’t happen but one of the Cures, most likely the lead or “sixth” Ranger is gonna have the ability to talk to animals.

Cat Cure and Dog Cure should have a rivalry with each other. Not too constant but maybe the first few episodes before they become close

Unlike KiraKira, the animals in this season are probably pet themed so no squirrel, lion or Pegasus themed cures

Cure names are probably gonna be based on breeds or characteristics of the animal their based on.

The fairies are gonna be the transformation devices again

From the title: we’re starting with 4 cures and a 5th cure comes in later.

Gunhaver is german shepard #61, mostly cuz i based that one drawing off of it and i couldnt really think of another!

Blue laser is that bitch ass shorthair cat (#339) that was always the mean girl when id play with it (i picked this for giggles and lps popular ccdos)

Reynold is hamster #54, i dont have a good reason for this other than i sketched it in my sketchbook (i dont have a good reason for lotsa these but yk..)

Silent rip is flying squirrel #1823 solely because its hat sorta resembles his helmet w/o the mic

Fightgar is bulldog #46, it looks like it has stubble on its face, and cuz bulldogs are british dog breed

Crackotage is this silly little bird (#595)! Mostly cuz he flies a plane sometimes

Foxface is obvs fox #807 cuz of her commando name and also that tuft of hair that it has

Firebert is this lil guy, #388, who is some cheetah kitten thing? His hat would follow those diy lps hat tutorials that use an old sock to make them

Flashfight is puffin #1574 cuz it looks like a total bitch, dont look at me that way you asshole

I decided to draw this one from the fuckhuge SAI file i have in the style of the gen 4 LPS because i do think the stylisation from that generation worked quite well on most pets and i wished it wasn't so hated :(

There aren't any G4 red pandas tho, so this is mostly based on the Squirrel + Skunk molds :>

Okay so the polls have determined I'm talking about LPS.

Tbh, I don't have a whole lot to talk about when it comes to my favorite little toys from the 2000s, especially since my collection is at home, but I do have a few things!

First is my favorites! Aka Creme (Angora Rabbit #2480) and Tytus! (Goat #1786). Creme I've had since I was a kid and was one of my first pets (along with the Rat #2481 she came with who I've since lost)

There's also my girl, Sydney Petrovsky. I was gonna replace her before she quickly grew on me

Her neck spring or something is broke so her head sinks down, making her a little short and 9 year old me painted her with black oil paint that smugged her original markings a bit. All in all, she's a little roughed up but I say that adds to her character.

An example of how she should look is Sara, the replacement I forgot I ordered, who, while damaged, is still in a little better condition than Sydney.

Asides from my favs... I guess I gave Garrett, the pet I brought with me to work. Since my apron has a pocket, I've been bringing one of my pets with me every shift.

Honestly, LPS was one of my main hyperfixations as a kid. One of my mains before discovering Undertale and I frequented LPStube as much as I could back then. (Though oddly I never got into LPS Popular and still haven't watched it). I remember watching Cookieswirlc a good amount before they started making non LPS content. As well as a lot of skits and music videos. My friends and I would even make up a couple ourselves (though we didn't really have the resources to upload them, we could still record on my mom's camera and stuff.)

Because of this, I have a few old LPS series concepts. They're not all that good because I was like, nine. But I think it'd be interesting to revisit them sometime. The first series I can remember was Peter and Piper. Since I had a double of Monkey #485 (Likely because I somehow got one from my girlfriend considering she has one Squirrel #484 which came in a playset with the monkey).

The "plot" (if you could really call it that) of the series would be that the protagonist, Peter, played by one of the monkeys, had the power to... genderbend. Piper being his girl counterpart (played by the other monkey). Could I have executed this idea with just one monkey, likely. Was it a cringe idea especially considering modern times? Yes.

The other characters was a G4 Wolf (#3806) and a G3 Guinea Pig (#3299) who I don't recall the original names of, but whom I've since dubbed Lisa and Harvey. I also remember Lisa had ice powers, causing Harvey to sing Let It Go to annoy her. There was also something with the school mascot (because of course it was set at a high school) being a hybrid of a bunch of animals including like a tiger and a bear and a dragon I think.

I'm not sure how to adapt it, asides from probably making Peter a magical girl or something? (Also probably trans as I like that better than the gender bending thing)

The second show i had even less for. It was called Twins and stared Creme (my favorite Angora Rabbit from above) and another Angora I had at some point, a pink one with striped ears, #2132. (I've since lost this pet. Might've traded it with a friend)

It was about an evil mirror dimension. As a kid, I used to believe mirrors were actually viewing portals into other dimensions and the inhabitants were opposites of us or something. A pretty common trope but I think nine year old Lorrie actually believed it.

Tbh, the concept of the 2nd one would work better with doubles compared to Peter and Piper, which might be possible with just one pet.

Anyways, that's all I have on LPS for now, anyone has any questions about my thoughts on certain pets or even some series, then shoot me an ask.
