the new year’s party went CONSIDERABLY worse than anyone had been expecting. what aster thought was just going to be an awkward night of trying to dodge robin without setting off any alarm bells was quickly changed to the lowest point in their group since they were literally punching each other. even though no one left bloody this time, aster would consider it worse. the trust and hearts broken that night stung more than the close call of robin’s broken nose. though the eager plans they made with raphael earlier in the night seemed to fizzle out, aster was far too worked up to just go to bed after fighting with robin. not for lack of trying. it’s a while of laying in bed next to tommy before she’s propping herself up on one elbow to look at him in the dark. ‘ can we still go watch the sunrise? ’ at least it would serve as a distraction. as well as justifying staying up beyond the fact she couldn’t get to sleep while it felt like everything was falling apart. everything except for her lover accepting her offer with a kiss. gathering blankets and aster slipping one of his hoodies over the shirt she had already claimed that night, they headed up to the roof aster wasn’t exactly sure if they were allowed to turn into a makeshift bed but had already decided she didn’t care about that tonight. tossing cushions and covers around with tommy had her smiling more than she had since shit hit the fan at midnight. it wasn’t the most well presented set up in the world, but it was warm and cozy. besides, aster cuddled up to tommy than anything else. “ thank you. ” aster’s soft, vague words break the silence. “ for coming with me. for everything tonight, ” she clarified. not just the pulling her closer and reassuring her when she needed it, but also twirling her on the dance floor. being her midnight kiss. pretty much every silver lining of aster’s night came in the form of thomas moore. “ you are the best thing in my life. ”

ap6: what’s your character’s go-to comfort movie or comfort tv series?

ed’s go to tv is news especially business news, but when he actually needs a distraction hmmmm. he’s not a big movie guy,, bc he prefers to be productive and when he is like,, trying to fall asleep or distract himself he usually reads ( or,, u know the other thing ) BUT obvi the finance bro trifecta of wows, ap, and ws, also action movies probably if he Has to watch something. as for tv i think he probs enjoys kuwtk sometimes tbh.

madi: what does your muse wear to bed?

ed doesn’t sleep much, so he really doesn’t put thought into it. usually just his underwear ( or naked tbh hjdshkfh less so now that he shares a bed with someone ). if it’s cold i think he’d add a tshirt ( not a fun one just a plain white one kinda vibe ) OR maybe steal one of raphs cozy sweaters even though he know’s he’ll get in trouble in the morning for stretching it out.

“At the risk of sounding like a white, upper-middle class Karen, Scandinavian minimalist is the way to go, folks. Everything just looks so clean and each piece of furniture has its own functionality and here I am again nerding out about overpriced chairs.”

   “ what do you mean you don’t like bernie sanders? ” if you told her an hour ago that she’d be having a debate with a sixty-year-old at an open bar, sophia wouldn’t have believed it. however, after smashing down a few daiquiris to calm her nerves, she thought it’d be a GREAT idea to talk about politics. is this what tommy meant when he said that sophia was good at schmoozing? “ what’s there to not like about him? he takes climate change seriously, he wants to increase the minimum wage, he wants medicare for all and he wants to invest in the education system and its workers. like, how is any of these a bad thing? are you thick or something? ” with a roll of her eyes she pulls her phone out of her clutch and clicks on tommy’s name, fingertips tapping away for a few moments before clicking send. 

[ 7:57PM ] where are you? can you come save me? this grandpa at the bar is pissing me off!!

   once her message read ‘ delivered ’, she placed her phone back in her clutch and turned back to the older male, but not before ordering herself a glass of water - she’s got to make sure that she doesn’t get messy tonight. “ anyway, where were we? oh, we were talking about how you don’t want us to change for the better, right? ”

001. When is their birthday?

august 4th! lucy is a leo baby !!

002. Do they do anything to celebrate their birthday?

yes! growing up, her family would always make her a big brunch. she still does this today but with her friends. she always buys herself a whole carrot cake and doesn’t even bother to slice the thing - just stabs her fork right in there. 

008. What is their favorite fairy tale?

the princess and the frog!! she was very ecstatic when the disney adaptation came through (even if she was already in her teens). this probably started her love for slimy little critters. get this girl a bearded dragon sometime soon !!

009. Do they believe in happy endings?

oh definitely! lucy is extremely hopeful. she’s been chasing down her happy ending since she got to new york but there just seem to be some bumps along the way.

the debut feature film starring @lttommy​ !! 

in all honesty, he’s not the biggest fan of ginger’s. as he is with everything else in his life, robin is a bit of a snob when it comes to his beer selection, and he’s found that the options at ginger’s just can’t compare to some of the more niche breweries over in brooklyn. but at the end of the day it’s not the drinks he frequents ginger’s for but the company - if not of the bennington friends he’s meeting up with, then at least of the bartender that he’s fairly fond of. it’s not an uncommon sight for robin to hang around tommy for a bit in the afternoon before the happy hour rush hits the pub, just as he is now, twirling a beer bottle around with his pinky and watching tommy clean shot glasses on the other side of the counter. “you know, i realized the other day that i’ve never actually asked you what kind of genre you consider your music to be,” he says absent-mindedly. “i mean, no pressure, genres are really just a ploy by music producers to put everyone into neat little categories so they can sell more neat little records, and an authentic artist should feel free to ebb and flow between different styles of music throughout their career, but you know. i’m just curious where you think you would fall in general on the basis of self-diagnosis.”
