Here are a few more sketches of stuff I’ve been working on. 

1) Súcubo (a lucha rudo) in a casual outfit. I’ve been struggling to find what I wanted her to wear outside of the ring, and decided that this one (after 3 complete tries) was the one I think I’m gonna stick with. 

2-3) A wrestler I was working on that I think I’m going to completely remake. She was based around the idea of electricity, and while researching stuff that was “electric” I came across a guitar belonging to Toshihiko Takamizawa of The Alfee. And now I want to design a fancy guitar and give this wrestler a music background. 

4-5) My wrestler Epona and her wife, Chichi. I seem to really enjoy drawing tender emotions like this (tho it’s really hard, I’m still practicing). Might never finish this sketch of them cause you can’t see Epona’s wrestling outfit at all... but I really like the emotion I got to draw.

Long time no see Tumblr! 

I haven’t been doing so hot, but I did get to work a little more on Lucha Boots a bit. Mainly worked on Cejas and Rosa (making Cejas “uncensored” so I can maybe put him up on Art Fight and adding some more details and an alt outfit for Rosa.)

It is taking me a bit of effort to post atm... been kinda feeling worthless recently, so it’s hard to convince myself that my art is any good sometimes... But I think everyone looked really nice together, so I wanted to share them here. Now all I need to do to finish them is to make Cejas a new “casual” outfit, and then I gotta outline them (and add deets to Pez’s trumpeta/Cejas’s microphone).

Here are a few more wrestling characters I started! 

First, is Umeko Fujimoto, a joshi-puroresu wrestler with a Y2K theme and UFO obsession. Next, is Marialena Dufort, a princess-themed wrestler with a lackluster attitude. And third is Súcubo, a lucha rudo with a “succubus” theme. 

Once they’re done, I’ll introduce you to them! (I’m still working on the backstories for Súcubo and Umeko. Umeko will be on Art Fight, so I have to finish her before the end of this month, lol.)

Umeko is brand new, a 2022 OG-OC. I was born in the 90s, grew up in the 2000s, so this was a blast-from-the-past type of design for me. I didn’t know how much I would adore her till I finished her sketches. <3

Let’s finally get 2022 STARTED!!!

You may already have an idea as to who this might be, but in cause you don’t know, this is my 2022 redesign of Kohaku Wakahisa-Vera. Her design is visually inspired by cyberpunk concept art, robots, ceremonial diablo masks, and Kamen Rider Momotaros (the red dude). You can also see a bit of her father there, who I completed last year and even made a song for. I’m also working on a 2022 redesign of Hikaru Akiyama, the kid in the hat. The second to last pic is of a possible logo for Kohaku’s lucha character.

I’m also gonna share a screenshot of where these characters usually end up: a giant google doc. I updated the format, and Kohaku’s backstory. (She’ll always be a work in progress, but this is as far as I got over the course of two full days of work... :P) Welp, hope you’ve been having a blast so far this year, and hopefully I can get the courage to ACTUALLY POST MORE on tumblr. (Feel free to encourage me... I need encouragement. TT^TT)

Meet Lucha Boots! A Mariachi Trio of Luchadors!  From left to right, Pez Gato on the Trumpet, Grandes Cejas as Lead Singer, and La Rosa Rosada on the Vihuela. To describe them in one word each: Pez is a romantic. Cejas is a classic. And Rosa is a feminist. Rosa is also the leader of Lucha Boots, but prefers to stay behind the spotlight. Before they met Rosa, Pez and Cejas used to be a duo act. Now, the trio preforms original songs before they wrestle in the ring. Lucha Boots is also known to play at smaller venues for extra cash. (Bonus pic is Pez and Cejas possibly preforming at an outdoor bar or backyard cookout.)

I wasn’t going to post them because they’re in the sketch phase, but I wanted so badly to share them, so here they are. As of right now, I’m still writing their backstories. I hope to finish their sketches & their backstories in the future. ^_^ (I also named their group in college. :P )  On another note, I am closer to finishing my other two female wrestlers that make up my top five. Their names are CMYK, a street punk/thug turned pro wrestler, and Hattie “The Highway” Briggs, an auto mechanic and pro wrestler. Hattie is really close to being done, but I just need to add some final touches. (CMYK is who I’m still struggling with. TT^TT)
