PROJECT INTRODUCTION AND SUMMARY:

Ratchet and Clank: the second Great War began as a fanfic project in late 2015-early 2016 in the context of the reboot coming out. At the time it seemed uncertain what direction insomniac was going to take with the series. Were they just going to abandon the original timeline and continue on with the rebootverse? No one really knew. The lombax plot line was what had gotten me interested in the series to begin with, and I sort of wanted closure (the simple way of putting it at least) I had never written a fic before, and the first incarnation of the story was going to be rather short, just for some personal closure lol. This is where the basics of the story began: years after into the nexus (since it was conceived pre rift apart the timeline splits here) the lombaxes attempt to return to fastoon, while that occurs, tachyon returns to exact revenge, perfect timing….

Over time and through a series of events I met the other people who would join up on the project thewhiteguardian (not on tumblr, main writer of the original version and writer on current version) and @terra-drone (current main writer/artist/lizzy man) The project heavily grew in part due to me becoming really invested in its lore partially as a college hobby/way to get through 😂. The current version of the project: tsgw redux, began in April 2020 with the addition of terradrone3 to the team, and its all been uphill from there, with our most recent addition to the team being @lumidoodles-art ! (Beta reader) My (samanan7) current role is that of director/project lead!

So, if you want a cool ass ratchet and clank story that’s dark, mature, and full of action with canon characters and oc’s that refines insomniacs already established lore, you’ve come to the right place!

I’m working on finishing my current batch of commissions, so here’s one for SweetKiriJ - it’s our mutual friend ScorpionCarioca’s birthday, so I was asked to draw his lombax OC Alexander dressed as M. Bison from Street Fighter 6!

Another commission from my current batch completed!

This time it’s my pal ScorpionCarioca’s lombax OC, Tundra, as Jin from Tekken 8 😊 Jin is one of my personal Tekken faves so I was super happy about this one!

Another commission for Coszei, who wanted two different versions of an idea - one is of her lombax OC, Cosette, and serval OC, Jynx, on a date, and the other is of Cosette and karn_ntk9’s lion OC, Fengxiao, having a friendly dinner together 😊

Another commission done - this time it’s @mundancheemudomo’s OCs! I was asked to draw Mudomo (the lombax) along with Joël (the protopet), and Tick and Rem (the robots) 😊

I’ve fallen in love with TADC and I make no apologies for it, but what I DID make is an OC - so say hi to Comet :D she’s a whole lot of sass in a tiny body! I based her on cartoony video game mascots and I’m super pleased with how she turned out.
