(Imma use the other format now) “Demon of the Moon,” Lunalla states. “I’m also someone your Mom was very close to before...” She pauses, choosing her words carefully. “Just, before.” Her dark presence fills the area around her, and it’s enough dark energy to send chills down someone’s spine for a good amount of time.
“Oh, that’s why I recognise you,” Adam realised. “You know my mum.” He could feel the dark energy in the area, but being that his birth parents were literally Beelzebub and Lucifer... it didn’t effect him the way it would a normal human.
As of evolving Lunalla I have my full final team in PLA! I’ll generally only have four of these guys and two trainees on hand until the final areas and I’ll switch things up post-game, but these are the ones I’m actively training at the moment. From left to right:
Smokey: The leader, all around good boy
Spoons: Glass cannon with many types of moves, has chronic sleepy bitch disease
Lunalla: Super defensive, can take a hyper beam to the face and not flinch
Goro: Catching expert, may be gay for Lunalla
The Don: Alpha, flying-type expert, runs the local mafia
Jabber: Alpha, offensive moves, will laugh at your pain
As Chip and Lunalla step back from a duty thrust upon them they find that rising to their best selves can be an odd journey in this #StarWars #TTRPG #ActualPlay episode

February 1st - Moon Girl
Lunella Lafayette is a brilliant youngster who lives with her mother and father on the lower Eat side of Manhattan. Despite her uncanny, genius-level intellect, Lunella was denied admission to the prestigious Future Foundation school. Instead, she has been forced to endure the often-boring and unchallenging scholastic environment of PS20. At school, Lunella was frequently teased by her peers and has earned the nickname ‘Moon Girl’ due to her pertinacity to daydream and appear to be lost in space.
Unknown to her parents and classmates, Lunella had built a secret laboratory in an abandoned subterranean sewer station. Through her research, Luna discovered that she possess the Inhuman gene that would cause her to go through Terrigenesis were she exposed to the Terrigen Cloud. Lunella very much did not want to become an Inhuman and she became obsessed with ascertaining a means of preventing her inhuman transformation.
To this end, Lunella located the Kree artifact known as The Omniwave Projector, a powerful weapon that can generate portals through time and space. Before she could utilize the device to attain her goals, one of her teachers tried to take the device away from her believing it to be a toy. In doing so, the projector accidentally activated, creating a portal that connected the present with the distant past of a parallel earth (Earth 78411).
Doing so released a group of neanderthal-like raiders called The Killing Folk as well as The heroic creature known as Devil Dinosaur. All matter of chaos ensued as the Lower East Side was suddenly besieged by marauding cavemen and a giant red tyrannosaurus. The Killer Folk chased after Lunella, identifying that she possessed the Omniwave Projector. Devil Dinosaur interceded, grabbing Lunella by the strap of her backpack and running off.
Although Luella was initially frightened by Devil Dinosaur, she quickly came to realize that he was not a threat and was actually a gentle-hearted creature who had protected her from the violent cavemen. Not long thereafter, The Totally Awesome Hulk (Amadeus Cho) arrived on the scene to apprehend Devil Dinosaur, viewing the crimson creature as a threat to public safety.
The Hulk bested Devil Dinosaur and the creature was taken away. Lunella enacted a successful plan to rescue her dinosaur pal and in the mayhem that followed the escape was photographed by a local journalist and ended up front page news in the next day’s newspaper. The headline referred to Lunella as ‘Moon Girl’ (likely because she was wearing a t-shirt with a picture of the moon on it).
Lunella and Devil Dinosaur were finally able to defeat The Killer Folk and send them back to their original realm, yet the victory came at a cost. Lunella had been monitoring the movement of The Terrigen Cloud. Her tracking allowed her to secure herself in a specialized, hermetically sealed chamber so to prevent exposure. In her haste to finally deal with the Killer Folk, Lunella neglected to keep track on the T-cloud’s whereabouts and it just so happened that the cloud had drifting over the eastern seaborne and come to lower Manhattan.
Exposed to the Terrigen, Lunella began the transformation was encased in a Terrigenic cocoon. Devil Dinosaur found the cocoon and brought it to Lunella’s secret layer, dolefully watching over it as though it were his egg. Lunella emerged from the cocoon several days later to discover that her transformation had provided no noticeable physical alterations.
Weeks later, Lunalla’s Inhuman powers finally manifested and she found that she and Devil Dinoaur could transfer consciousnesses, where her mind became in control of the red dinosaur’s body and vice versa. These transferences lasted anywhere between minutes to hours and led to all manner of hi jinx and mayhem. With practice, Lunella gained a greater mastery of utilizing those times where her consciousness is trapped in Devil Dinosaur’s body. She would go on to have numerous adventures, repelling the Kree forces led by Kid Kree’s father, saving the original Moon Boy, reuniting Ego the Living Planet with his estranged satellite daughter, Girl Moon, aiding Kid Kaiji during the Monsters Unleashed event and building the Terrigen nullifying device that saved Mutantkind and ended the Inhumans/X-Men War.
According to Amadeus Cho’s assessment, Lunealla could very well be the most intelligent being on earth. The young heroine first appeared in the pages of Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur #1 (2015).
