The TA discord was having some thoughts and I gotta talk about it. Percy and Al having a city-levelling battle like Hector and Achilles, except Percy is the Hector and Al is the Achilles. The olympians were objectively in the wrong but Percy fought for them because they were his family and because his friends fought for the olympians. The trojans started the whole debacle by kidnapping Helen despite the big deal thing and refusing to let her go but Hector fought for them because Troy was his home and where his family was. Achilles fought because his people made a deal to protect their ally's marriage and this fairly noble cause snowballed into a ten year war in which no one is really fighting for anything meaningful by the end but Achilles makes a last stand, not for the greater war effort but avenge the people he loves. Al joined the war for a noble cause that got lost along the way but made his final stand in rejection of the gods' subjugation of his people and to avenge the friends he lost during the war.

you burn yourselves out allowing yourself to be pulled by so many people in all different directions. you exhaust all your resources and empty your cup - no, your entire well - to help those around you, even people you don't know. it's such a beautiful thing, and i know you genuinely love helping others, supporting people, seeing them thrive. it's such a beautiful trait! but you constantly end up neglecting yourself, right? you don't realize that you have permission to set aside time to care for you, to cater to your needs for once. you often feel like no one puts a drop in your cup, the favor is never returned - it's exhausting; you might think if you just keep giving your all it will come back; i understand. you will find the people that give the same energy back to you one day, but regardless of whether you've found those people yet, you need to learn to step aside and fill your own cup!

setting boundaries and saying no is the most important thing you will learn to do in this lifetime. it will not be easy for you, sometimes it will feel painful. but you cannot help the world if you're constantly drained and tired! you deserve to take care of yourself in the same way you do for others. be gentle to your kind soul, nourish yourself; do the things you love to do. learn to worry about others less, as hard as it is, and focus on yourself more.

i wanted to come here and say that im predicting that my time here as nabi will be coming to an end soon. not that i want to leave, i dont. but because of certain circumstances in my personal life, im starting to think i might need to leave. it has nothing to do with all of you on here, you're all an amazing community that i loved to be in during my time here and i will remember you all forever. thank you for making my time here so meaningful and wonderful. i never wouldve thought i would have more than TWO THOUSAND!!! followers ever and i'm forever grateful to everyone that's enjoyed my works it really means the most to me. i hope i can return one day but im not sure if i will. i might log in and check in with you all here and there but its not for sure.

that being said, im not leaving just yet. just laying down the fact that i more than likely will be leaving and i don't want to randomly disappear on anyone that might care (if any LOL)

I barely know anything about the guilty gear lore because I'm learning about it as God intended (cool girl I'm friends with has copy of original game and plays it with me) but every time she tells me about a character it's like "oh yeah that's Jack FuckHuge, his parents were murdered by the French mafia and then he was kidnapped by the government and got experimented on and now he's able to see every dimensional outcome for any given action. He's built like a brick shithouse and his outfit is made solely of zippers and he fights with a giant screwdriver. His attack power is kinda mid tbh.." and without fail I think it's the tightest shit I've ever seen.

which btw, to add onto my earlier post abt the rabbits deaign, it fustrates me SOOOOOOO SOOOOOOOOO SOOOOOOO FUCKING BADDDDDD when people draw the characters off model by giving them certain details that 'fix' some of the unfavourable characteristics of characters with little to no consideration for anything else other than aesthetics r whatever.

LUKE fir example: jeff the killer, if most of the stories theres this little detail that he burns off his eyelids along w cutting his cheeks. so WHYYYYYYY FO PEOPLE ALWAYS DRA WHIM W EYELIDS GRAHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!

Like i dont expect everyone to be chronically as interested in charcter deisgn n such as i am but Come onnnnn thats literally like one of his defining features😭 thrown out for aesthetic purposes or to increase his range of expression. which i get. to an extent. i just think like.......

like if you really truthfully like a character n their image it would be like slightly worth the hassle to work around certain aspects like this that creates an uncomfortable setback in this other area of the character.

likeeeee likeeeeee. jeffs lack of eyelids puts him at a disadvantage in terms of character expression, it creates an inherent imbalance in the characters design. i just think fully eliminating these types of traits of a character instead of working to create a new balance WITH these traits makes a character much much worse and dampens their appeal severely,,

anyways the point im trying to make here is that like, if you draw jeff the killer w eyelids youre the devil and i think your stupid <333333333

some seabun concepts :3

Leggy Seabun - He doesn't have the ability to leggy by himself. So he wears an enchanted necklace that lets him walk on land. Kelek takes Snaps to a surface monster market to get him one.

Fishbowl Ass - Seabun's booty plume are actually his gills. So thought it would be funny if he strapped a fishbowl to his butt to wander around on land. Also spritzes himself to keep from drying out too much.

Shorts - Seabun's a sea slug, he moves pretty slow, and that carries over to on land. He finds walking on the surface exhausting. Also someone made him wear shorts bc boy u nekkid.

Defense Mode - Seabun doesn't have any really offensive abilities, but he can defend himself very well. His 'fur' are actually tendrils, which are filled with toxins from the sea sponges he eats.

The pink spots you see on him are a little bulbous at the tip and store a separate pink toxin in it. When he's feeling exceptionally threatened he can release a cloud of the toxins into the water around him. It dissipates quickly in the water, but for him to use it the predator is most likely going to get a face full of it.

All of his toxins are fatal to most creatures.
