Silly

Summary: Reader decides it's a great idea to lock themselves in their room for almost a month, figuring out a way to get out of the digital circus. Jax is not having them abomanalize in front of him.

You had randomly been thrown into the digital circus about a few months ago. Staring at the space and boards on your wall with a sigh, you slammed back down on your bed. 'It's no use! I'll never get out of here,' you thought angrily, putting your hands over your face softly. Did you even want to leave? I mean, you sort of had pomni. And ragatha. Maybe Jax, you chuckled at that thought, because you knew deep down you definitely had that rabbit. You, pushed the thought down though, because who would want you? Especially a guy like Jax. He'd obviously pick someone on the outside of the digital circus over you when you guys got out anyway.

Would you even get out? 'Oh god, not back to this questionnn!' You mentally groaned. You had been in your room for so long, locked away hunting for the exit, an exit, just.. Something to give you the peace of mind that you weren't trapped and the people you briefly remembered were still out there. Hell, you were probably on the verge of becoming one of those... Things. What was it called again? You couldn't even remember. Youd been in here so long you forgot a lot of things.

You sighed, slowly pushed yourself from on top of your bed to the floor. Your shoes making a little 'squek!' Nose as you did. You smiled. Sure, that was childish but that was one of the only things you liked about this body. It wasnt you, it didn't look like what you remembered, hell, if you even remembered it. You stared down at your feet, looking at your slippers smiling and grabbing your coffee from the desk.

Did people in the digital circus need coffee? No. Did you beg Craine for access to coffee with the same effects? Yes. You smiled, walking over to the door slowly, coffee in hand until the knob turned by itself. That can only mean one thing, you groaned and quickly took a giant sip of your coffee, before running over to the door to prevent Jax from seeing your whole room.

the door flew open and almost hit you in the face. Jax chuckled at this, but noticed the boards before you stepped right back into place to block his vision again. His eyes shifted to worry.

"Well, I'd say someone needs to knock." You said, putting your hand on your hip playfully.

"I did, twice. I'd say someone needs to let go of so much coffee." He retorted in the same voice eyou did, which made you roll your eyes and chuckle.

  "Jaxi, I've told ragatha and I'll tell you,

I'm fine! It's just a little... Theorizing."

You explained, motioning to all of it. Jax sighed, rubbing the space between his nose.

"You've [BLEEP]ing asked for it now, so your going to get the real, emotional Jax here, okay? Oh-[BLEEP]ing-kay." He said, practically shoving you back into your room, closing the door and locking it. he sighed as he stepped in, he really didn't know how to go about this.

"Jax, your kinda scaring me-" you said, before being cut off.

"absolutely NOT, n/n. You don't get to..lock yourself in this room for week's, almost a MONTH and then not come out at all, not even for food, and [BLEEP]it, EVEN I know that's not normal for you! And then tell me your scared of me, snapping at you! I'm so sorry y/n, but I REFUSE to let you sit by and destroy yourself like this, especially when you are so important to most of us. You are NOT abstracting. Not on my watch."

He said, breathing rapidly. And then, realization had just set in on him and you. He never snapped at you, sure he could be a prick but he never yelled, was he serious? However for Jax, it was the realization he had just yelled at you.

"I-" you started, but we're quickly cut off.

"Nuh-uh, hot stuff. Now that you've listened to the.. Overly emotional "Jaxi" in your words, we're going out of this..... Place." He said, practically glaring daggers through you while scrunching his nose at your room.

You nodded quickly, grabbing his hand. He blushed a dark purple, but shook his head to brush it off.

"Nono- shut up!" You yelled at him, he was using those stupid cheesy pickup lines on you again.

"Hey, are you a calculator? Cuz I could never leave you alone in school!" He yelled at you, almost laughing himself. You fell into the floor, holding your stomach with laughter.

Ragatha walked outside the tent, she needed fresh air, untill she heard laughter. She turned her head softly to see what was going on, and there you and Jax were. She smiled.

'they're so silly.' She thought, before walking off back into the tent.

Latuca...

You smiled as you picked the Lactusa, getting lettuce from your room. You had become close with the purple.. Intruder, who would peep into your garden, and then quite a few plants would go missing. You didn't mind, as the pranks on you had died down from such an exchange. At least that's what you thought it was. You continued pick out the Lactusa, getting just the right peaces.

You eagerly ran from your room down the hallway, attempting to find Jax. You had a bunch of lettuce in a small bouquet, with a carrot on top. You thought that would be adorable and very fitting for.. The rabbit after all. You chuckled, until you found pomni.

"Hey! Pomni! Have you seen Jax anywhere? I desperately need to find him!" She shook her head, staring at herself in the mirror again. She always does that for some reason. Poor girl, you sighed, before heading off into the other hallway and seeing ragatha and Jax having a conversation. So you waited, and waited, trying to block their voices out so it wasn't exactly snooping. Eventually their convo was done, and you peeked around the corner. Maintaining eye contact with Jax for a minute, you ran out and stood in front of the lanky fella.

"Hi.." You started, storing the bouquet behind yourself. Oh {BLEEP)it y/n, don't get nervous now! You thought angrily.

"Hiiii sweetheart." He chuckled. Looking behind you with a raised eyebrow. You shook your head, smirking.

"So, this is kind of awkward." You chuckled, and then suddenly Jax had spun you around to the point you and the bouquet were in his arms.

"Hun, if your gonna confess to someone like me, don't leave yourself open." He smiled, and winked, setting you down whilst walking away with the bouquet. You stared for a hot minute, before a heavy blush rose to your face along with a big ol goofy smile.

Later, you walked into the main room, you saw Jax sitting on the stage you were headed towards. You weren't sure you could face him right now without being a flustered mess so you ducked behind the wall and just watched as he carefully deconstructed the bouquet to get the carrot, even going as far to take a piece of lettuce and rap it up like a burrito. You chuckled, and began to walk back the other way. It was good to know he was enjoying it that much.

"Jax, I swear to God if I end up breaking my nose or something because of you." You glared through the blindfold, obviously he couldn't see that but he could get an idea. He chuckled, "Wellllll, now that you mention it.." He playfully pushed you forward, almost making you trip on a rock. You gasped and smacked the air, attempting to hit him, which obviously was not working as you were just flailing your arms around. This made Jax actually laugh, and you pouted. "Are we almost there?!" You yelled out at him. He shrugged. You sighed, but then smiled. 'This is gonna be fun.' You thought sarcastically.

"Taaa daaa!" He smiled, taking the blindfold off and sitting down on the grass, tapping the spot next to him with a cheesy grin on his face. You smiled adoringly, the stars were so pretty. You gasped and sat down next to him slowly, just staring. (At the stars, not him..) "Jax, how did you.." You started, before he cut you off. "I may or may not have pulled a favor with Caine to get allowed outside tonight, but totally worth it." He smiled, looking at you. You grinned. "They're so pretty Jax, I don't even-" "not as pretty as you!" "Oh my god, do NOT use that cheesy [BLEEP]s line on me right now." You groaned, holding up a hand to his face and playfully pushing it back. He smiled a big ol grin, and booped your nose.

You stared at him for a hot minute with a 'seriously?' Look before jumping up and bopping his 'nose' full force. He gasped, and then glared at you.

"Oh it is ON, come here-" he yelled, chasing after you whilst laughing.

You both laughed as you toppled over onto each other in the grass, rolling down the hill fast but softly too. You grabbed Jax's shoulder for support, as you buried your face into his shoulder to suppress your laughter. This only made himself laugh harder though, causing you to still laugh as well.

Slowly, you two came to a stop on the hill, tangled in eachother's arms. You smiled up at him as you blinked, it was getting increasingly harder to keep your eyes open. You sighed, closing your eyes fully and snuggling into the giant teddy bear that was Jax. He froze for a minute, untill wrapping his arms around your waist as you drifted off. He smiled, (if you have bangs, read this part, if not, don't, ignore it) brushing your bangs onto the side of your head, he placed a tiny peck onto your forehead, watching the rise and fall of your chest.

Jax walked back into the tent with your sleeping form, he peaked over the walls with his head, making sure nobody was around. After he was sure, he walked into the main room still holding onto you. Caine appeared next to him suddenly, seemingly about to say something, but Jax put one finger to his mouth - or rather teeth. Caine got the hint, and nodded. He then looked between you and Jax. Jax rolled his eyes and nodded. Caine held up his fist, and Jax (against his will) hit his larger fist onto Caine's smaller one. And Caine was gone.

'Alrighty, now to get Sleeping Beauty off their Star-Sweet high and into bed.' He thought, walking faster towards the resting Corridors.(?)
