Emily's whole body ached. Muscles, her lungs. Her head swam as though she'd been plummeted into the ground headfirst; and her stomach, oh god. She had to clench her eyes tight and force a breath through pursed lips. Bile rose in her throat.  Asgard. Mother. Allfather.  "Oh God- I'm going to be sick." No sooner had the words left her mouth than she was on hands and knees, retching onto the gleaming bridge beneath her feet. Wiping off her mouth, her eyes registered the pulsing light. So beautiful. Emily reached back for Loki, the familiarity of him a comfort in this place. She uneasily rose to her feet, turned to him and whispered urgently. "Loki- what just happened?" Part of her already knew. She'd seen that beam of light before, when he'd fallen. All around her were gleaming spires, brilliant stars that seemed to simply hang in midair. Were she taller, she could almost pass her hand through the glowing spheres of gas and dust. "I thought- I thought you were running away." The truth sat numbly in her empty stomach. "That it was too much. That we-" Her hand covered her belly. "We were too much."

Family Portrait

"HOLY FUCK!" Sigyn cried, dodging a rock troll's gigantic blade. Had they been inside the castle, she would've gotten a smack at the back of her head from the queen herself for using such language. Then again, she'd rather get smacked than cut in half by a rock troll's axe. They were surrounded by a thick cloud of smoke that concealed them from their enemies, courtesy of Loki himself. However, Sigyn wasn't at all too happy.

The plan had been for them to all round up together first. When Thor called for the formation, Sigyn was too preoccupied to get to them in time, resulting in her being separated from the rest once the fog appeared. All she could do then was keep evading attacks as rock trolls blindly flung their weapons.

Natasha shut the laptop and pressed it into Loki's chest, smiling tightly, "You seem to forget the fact that those are my friends you're talking about. A group which I put myself in. So now I know how you think of me, on top of the "shutting up" bit." She turned, heading towards the bedroom, slamming the door behind her without any regard to Loki.
