I love Pluem's apology. That's a real apology, he accepts responsibility, reaches out to Kawin and approaches him, doesn't try to explain his feelings, just admits he was wrong, apologizes (in English and Thai) and then proceeds to be kind and bright and gentle again to show that he knows what happened and won't let it agian. Brilliant!

Kawin and Pluem go on the sweetest date and are the sweetest boyfriends and I don't know how to emotionally handle how cute they are together and how much they love each other and how they're supporting each other and being there for each and just how much they truly understand each other and want this relationship... it's overwhelming honestly.

And then to watch Pluem quietly ask Kawin for his love and to be rejected, to be shown that he couldn't live up to a dead man and to be asked for time that he doesn't know how to give because if Kawin doesn't love him... how long can he wait and hope? And to see Kawin so in love but so afraid of that love at the same time.

Kawin does love Pluem. But he's afraid to move on from Jake. He's afraid to move on to a new love and to find a new life, to find a new safety when he's sure that he is watched by the ghost of the man he loved, the man he still loves.

How can Kawin move on when he's sure Jake is there at his side? How can he move when he needs to make peace with a ghost first, when he needs to be sure that Jake can move on? When Jake is the reason he did so much?

It hurts so much because Kawin is still trapped in the agony of the past and the passing on of his family has only made that stronger, has only reminded him of what he lost and why he started looking for ghosts in the first place.

But he doesn't know that Jake knows he loves Pluem and has let him go... even after protecting him for so long. And now it's Kawin's turn to realize he's moved on, that he can move on. That there is a future and it's not a ghost, it's not Jake, it's Pluem at his side as he's been.

The dead cannot be there for the living. The dead cannot dwell forever in the world of the living. It is the living that must keep moving forward and must keep living.
