Episode 62. It Takes A Village and It's MAARQUII'S House!

All are welcome at the second annual Black Arts Festival this Saturday starting at 2 p.m. Doja Cat, the Los Angeles rapper behind the viral music video "Mooo," will headline a show that includes MC Maarquii and DJ Bnick. The festival will also host a BIPOC marketplace that features everything from crafts to poetry.

Also, come to Soul Food Night, an evening of cuisine from the Black/African diaspora on Monday at 7 p.m., the culminating event of Reed’s Black Celebration Month.

Both events are free and open to the public.

Co-presented by the Multicultural Resource Center, the Office for Institutional Diversity, and the Office for Student Engagement.

Second annual Blacks Arts Festival. I love this event. We ate amazing (and free!) food and bought some very cool stuff. Maarquii, our own Shelby Williams, and finally Doja Cat performed. I’m a fan of Doja Cat, so I was really looking forward to this. She didn’t disappoint and it was fun to sing along with the crowd.
