Happy #transawarenessweek 💖💙 Here’s a little comparison. On the left is a photo from a few days ago of me modeling my favorite underwear brands @tomboyx and @aerie 👙 The photo on the right is a throwback to the first time I tried on a bra at @victoriassecret 👀 I was so nervous to go in. I had no idea how I would be treated. Luckily the woman helping me was so nice and understanding. I cried in the dressing room after putting on the simple black bra. It made me feel feminine. I purchased it and wore it for weeks under my clothes before coming out. No one noticed it was there because it was pretty flat and I layered clothes to hide the shape, but it gave me a euphoria I had never felt. Victoria Secret has a lot of changes to make before I’ll feel comfortable shopping from them again. But luckily there are so many lgbt friendly and owned brands out there.
