Ula, I just saw the post you made with the comparison of your doodles. You certainly have come a long way! Not that your art wasn't good then, but now it is even better! You have grown up and evolved and your art hsa done the same! I think that you will keep evolving and getting inspired thus becoming better. So congratulations and here's to the future!

Oh Virna, thank you! (It’s all right, you can say my art looked not that good then, because even I can see that :P) I feel that I’ve always had an enthusiasm for finding the amusing side of things, but I lacked the know-how to carry my vision out effectively. These years, I’m tried to hone in on anatomy (I leveled up from bundles of amorphous roots to somewhat hand-looking appendages! Hooray!), perspectives and angles, and basically learning of the existence and then about the functionality of art programs. 

Thank you very much for your encouragement! My next big challenges are learning to deploy color in a more expressive and integrative way, and to better master anatomy so I can feel more confident in altering with proportions and trying unusual poses. I hope in the course of the year I’ll be able to share more engaging drawings with you all! xx

Just curious -- you tagged that one pic of Zaynie as shade game strong. What is he shading?

While Liam is pushing this separation narrative in interviews (fuck Liam’s “new” team) Zayn is out here being papped in a solid red sweatshirt. This isn’t his normal promo outing product placement papping. He even covers his face in most of the pics. I see it as an ode to Liam - red is the colour the fandom associates with Liam - and it literally wraps his body and disappears in the red sweatshirt. The boys give us nonverbal clues and this seems to be one. Also, as @madat-55 pointed out, Liam was papped in the yellow sweater - Zaynie’s colour - prior to this bullshit popping off. So, IMO, they are good.

My Anon what are you talking about? This links refers to a post I reblogged about SGT videoclip and the need to help the viewings in youtube. What does it have to do with anything?

It’s not a matter of liking the video or not (I’m not particularly crazy about it myself but not for the “obvious” reasons, simply because I would have loved something more “sans-souci”), it is a matter of supporting Zayn. Did you see any serious promo happening from his label when the single got out? No? Neither did I. So now that the videoclip is out we can work to help improve the placement of the song in the charts. 

Besides, my Nonnie, no one is forcing you; if you want to do it, you do it; if not, don’t. Simple as that!

last song you listened to: ‘Just Like a Pill’ - Pink (just because i remembered her performance at VMAs, lol)

favourite tv show: I don’t have a fave tv show rn cause i don’t watch much tv. But because of the fandom it feels like i’m watching so many shows. Lol. But my all time favorite shows were ‘The X-Files’,  ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and ‘90210′ (the original). Oh and the firsts “The Real World” from MTV. I used to love this show.

first fandom: I never care too much about the internet (reason why i’m tool and can’t do anything. lol), and never had too much curiosity to know about the artists than the usual gossip from magazines. So i really was surprised with my interest in 1D. I was trapped and never wanted to get out since then. Edit: I used to participate in some Guns N' Roses forums too.
