We are NonConcerned About Concerns

During my long-road-trip-alone-time, I have come to the conclusion that we as humans do not think about some things that perhaps we should be thinking about.

For example:

1. Why aren't we worried more about imbalance? We survive on a planet that is perfectly positioned, warmed, rotated and existing. Even the slightest alteration of anything in our orbit could destroy everything. But we don't think about the fact that we could be randomly fried to a crisp while driving down the road and never know what hit us. 

2. Also, why don't we think about death and love in literal terms? Bukowski  once said, "We are all going to die. That alone should make us love each another, but it doesn't." We live in a world where we are so overwhelmed with trivial things that we forget what is important. Think to yourself, does any of the shit in your day to day routine matter when you compare the time you wasted on it getting closer to death?

I am thinking this is going to be a series... Because I often am alone on long drives and thinking about strange things that I do not think most people think about. How thinky of me.
