How long does it take the Captains to insult each other? A meta

Well, okay, this is less a meta and more a collection of data with a bit of a conclusion at the bottom, but if you were wondering how long it takes these guys to start insulting each other when there's more than two of them in a room, the answer is literally seconds.

I'm going off the anime for this particular meta/analysis/data collection as the manga doesn't really have timings.

I'm also only counting times with three or more Captains as when there's only two of them they tend to be more civil.

The first moment we have more than two Captains in the room and we actually see them talking is during the banquet after the promotion ceremony during the attack on the Capital.

In this scene, we have three Captains present; Nozel, Charlotte and Fuegoleon

It takes a grand total of twelve seconds after they started talking for Fuegoleon to ask Nozel if he has "no sense of honour" and I'm counting that as an insult.

Next scene with more than two Captains is in Nean when they're fighting the Third Eye and Nozel, Charlotte and Jack turn up to help fight.

It takes fifteen seconds (counting from the time Jack starts talking) for Yami to call the other three "high and mighty fellow captains" (note: in the VIZ media translation in the manga he says "lousy so-called friends"). At twenty eight seconds Nozel is threatening to have Yami executed and literally two seconds after that Yami says "look at your hair, how am I supposed to take you seriously?".

The very first thing Charlotte says in this scene is calling Yami "pitiful".

Next scene with multiple Captains talking is the first Captains Meeting!

Ten seconds in and we get "Four Magic Knight Captains and you let a terrorist ringleader get away? How Embarrassing!"

Jack and Gueldre's entire conversation is literally just shallowly disguised insults, the first thing Nozel says is basically insulting Yami and Jack, and Charlotte's first words scream "I'm surrounded by idiots."

Rill never actually insults anyone but also pretty much immediately offended everyone by saying Fuego could fix shit.

Star Festival Rankings announcement:

Captains present; William, Nozel, Fuegoleon, Jack, Dorothy, Gueldre, Rill.

It takes a grand total of seven seconds after the rankings have been announced for Jack to start insulting Rill.

Anime-only meeting after the announcement where Yami and Jack destroy Augustus' light statue.

It takes thirty seven seconds for Charlotte to call Yami "utterly devoid of tact" and most of those thirty seven seconds are taken up by William apologising for getting all the cheering. Apologies are unusual for these people.

(I've skipped the Captains fight for this mostly because I didn't feel like trying to track every single time they insult each other when they have an entire episode to insult each other)

Anime-only meeting where they decide who to send to Heart.

Captains present: Yami, William, Nozel, Charlotte, Fuegoleon, Jack, Dorothy, Kaiser, Rill.

Surprisingly enough, there aren't any real insults at this meeting. This is probably because Julius is sat at the head of the table.

Nine seconds in and Charlotte's insulting Yami and William with "and they dare to call themselves Magic Knight Squad Captains?"

Jack has by far one of the most direct insults with "turns out the Golden Dawn has a snivelling coward for a Vice-Captain" about thirty five seconds in.

One minute and ten seconds of them actually talking at this meeting, Jack tries to leave.

I started making this list after watching the movie and being very disappointed by the lack of any sort of insults or arguments between the Captains. It felt very out of character for them to me. That being said, Jack being casual about the end of the world is very much in-character.

I've seen several people in this fandom saying that the other Captains pick on Rill a lot, and, yes, to be fair, they do, but that's also just how they are with each other. I've skipped the conversations with only two of them in a room, but even those are full of insults and barbs, there's just less of them. The difference between Rill and the rest of the Captains is he doesn't fire anything back when he gets insulted.

In conclusion, while they don't directly insult each other as often as you might think, they're all passive-aggressive fuckers and it only takes them seconds to start trading barbs.

Black Clover timeline Headcanon

Okay! Gonna put my timeline math into a post! Feel free to alter!

So Under the presumption that the average Wizard King term is 10 years, and a Wizard King can have multiple terms. And there has been 28 in the past 500 years. 

Lemiel was the first and he was one for a day

Princia was the 11th (died at 22)

Jester the 16th  (died at 23)

Edward the 20th (died at 66)

Conrad the 27th (stripped of power at 35)

Julius the 28th (stops being Wizard king at 44 presumably, but it’s hard to say)

Black Bulls and Golden Dawn are created when Yami is 22 and William is 20, to which Julius is Wizard King (age 37) at this point. 6 years ago. And we know he became WK 10 years ago from Spade Arc (was he 33 when he became WK?) Damn. Wait… Rill is the youngest ever captain at 19.  And Rill even states he isn’t anymore when Yuno becomes a Grand Master. 

So who was Captain prior to Rill? 

And that means Julius had to become a Captain at at least 20 years old.

Yami meets Julius as a captain at 15 (14 years ago)

The fight with Conrad had Nozell, Yami, Kaiser, Merelona, Feugolean 

Mathamatically Yami should be 19 (Charlotte just joined the magic Knights by this point)

Probably right after Morgen’s death as he isn’t in the fight

Say Julius is 33 here, Julius could have been 20 when meeting Yami which fits in the timeline better.

So let’s say vaguely 10 years is a single term, if each Wizard King stuck to that then there would have been 50 Wizard Kings instead, but clearly that isn’t the case. Unless the average Wizard King goes at it for about 2 or more terms. A WK isn’t limited to a set amount of terms, but a decade is 1 term. If the average is 2 terms per WK, that is 25 Wizard Kings, for a perfect 20 years divided, but we know Lumeire, Princia, Jester, Edward, and Conrad all had short terms.  All of these are assumptions, so head canon territory

So Asta is 16 from here on, and we know that he is part of the Black Bulls for a whole year before training begins! So training begins right before he turns 17. So a timeline!

Can i request where the Captains all enjoy themselves on a beach day.Can you also do a small drabble where after a day at the beach they come back to the shared penthouse and do a drunken game of truth or dare👀 (i feel like all the captains had to grow up too fast and they deserve some teenage fun times❤)

Hiya anon! So i decided to do these as HC’s instead of a fic or drabble since it was easier to do it that way, I hope you don’t mind! This was a fun idea, and I apologize that the dares and truths are pretty lame, I’ve never played the game IRL so…yeah these are pretty basic 😂. But I hope you enjoy~!

Context: The Magic Knight Captains were all given a mini vacation for all the hard work they’ve done recently, each one accepted except for Kaiser, who said he and his wife were going to go on a “second honeymoon” instead. So the Captain’s all agreed to go to the beach for their vacation. They spent nearly all day out there swimming, laying in the sand, playing games like volleyball and most importantly; Yami and Jack barbecued the Captain’s dinner and they ate it on the beach.

Afterwards they all went back to their shared villa and decided to play a few games before bed. After drinking a bit, one such game Yami had suggested was called “Truth or Dare”.

Yami:

• Hadn’t been too surprised when the bottle landed on him first, in a way he had expected it, since he was the one to suggest the game in the first place.

• He chuckled a bit before choosing “Dare”, and he watched as the Captain’s all tried to think of what to dare him to do.

• Finally Jack snapped his fingers and dared him to wear nothing but his swimsuit for the rest of the game.

• Yami snorted and muttered about how that was “a really dumb dare” but of course he did it anyway, as he finished changing and sat down next to Charlotte he noticed her face turned a bright red. When he asked what was wrong or if she drank too much, she would just shake her head.

William:

• Was a bit surprised when the bottle landed on him next.

• But he quickly cleared his throat and, after weighing his options, decided “Truth” would be the better choice.

• After thinking for a moment Yami decided to ask him an easy question, since it was the first time he had played the game.

• He decided to ask William if it was true that he had a sleeping mask that looked identical to the mask he always wore, after being taken aback for a moment, let out a chuckle before answering calmly “No.”

Charlotte:

• Felt her heart skip a beat as soon as the bottle landed on her, she had hoped it would be a while before the bottle landed on her but of course, she wasn’t so lucky.

• She quickly cleared her throat and, like William, decided on “Truth”. She watched as the others debated on a question before her head snapped in the direction of Dorothy, who let out a mischievous giggle.

• “Is it true you like Yami?” As soon as that question left the other woman's mouth Charlotte could have swore her heart stopped in her chest. She quickly looked away and, after Dorothy giggled again, was reminded that she had to tell the truth.

• Charlotte took a deep breath and opened her mouth slowly, this wasn’t the way she wanted to confess to Yami, but she didn’t have much choice. But as soon as she opened it she heard Yami snort and say that it wasn’t fair to ask her that, when he was asked why, he pointed to her face and said that she was “way past her limit” with alcohol and that she may misunderstand the meaning of “like” in Dorothy’s question.

• Charlotte had opened her mouth to say her face was red from embarrassment not being drunk, but quickly closed it again as she realized Yami had only said that to give her an out. So she took it, and decided to act a lot more drunk than she actually was. As long as it meant she didn’t have to confess her feelings for Yami because of a game, she would act like she was the drunkest woman alive.

Fuegoleon:

• Wasn’t really interested in the game at first, but decided he would go ahead and go along with it since it was “something new to learn”. So he was a bit surprised when it landed on him next.

• He debated on which to pick but decided to pick “Dare” since it hadn’t been chosen very much.

• After thinking for a moment Nozel, with a smirk, decided to dare Fuegoleon into saying that “Nozel was a much better Captain” than him. Fuegoleon debated for a moment before quickly grabbing the bottle of alcohol and taking a sip of it as a penalty for not doing the dare.

• But Rill quickly Dared that he teach Salamander a trick or two, like you would a pet, and Fuegoleon had blinked in surprise before he quickly decided that the dare wasn’t *too* bad. So he taught Salamander to “sit” and “lay down” just like you would a dog.

Nozel:

• Felt that the game was “childish”, “immature”, and “boring” at first. But as it went on he found it quite interesting so he wasn’t too irritated when the bottle landed on him.

• As soon as it did he quickly decided that “Truth” was the best choice, and as soon as the word left his mouth, the other Captains quickly opened their mouths to ask a bunch of questions.

• But they quickly shut again as Charlotte reminded them that they couldn’t ask any “inappropriate” questions during the game, and she rolled her eyes slightly as disappointed looks crossed multiple of the Captains faces.

• Rill quickly asked if it was true that he had a servant whose sole job was to braid his hair and that no one else was allowed to but that servant. Nozel cleared his throat and felt his cheeks heat up slightly before he answered with a soft “Yes”.

Dorothy:

• Was excited when the bottle finally landed on her!

• She instantly chose “Dare” as she felt that would be the most fun option, and she watched gleefully as they all tried to come up with some sort of dare for her to do.

• Rill, once again, came up with one. This time it was the most cliché of dares; he dared her to kiss the person she found most attractive, and Dorothy didn’t seem to mind.

• She quickly straightened her cloak, looked around the room with a small smirk, before moving towards Nozel and giving him a kiss on the cheek, surprising everyone!

Rill:

• After everyone had recovered from the shock of Dorothy kissing Nozel, they spun the bottle again and it landed on Rill this time. Much to his glee.

• He decided to go with “Dare” and instantly Yami had an idea; “do impressions of everyone in the room, while giving your honest thoughts about them.” Rill’s eyes lit up like a kid's eyes would on Christmas.

• He quickly cleared his throat and began to do his impressions, he started off with Fuegoleon and Nozel both being too uptight, then with Dorothy always sleeping, then with Charlotte and her crush on a certain “unnamed” Captain, and finally with Jack and Yami and their bickering.

• The Captain’s all had to admit that it was amusing, even if some of the honest points Rill made hurt at times.

Jack the Ripper:

• Was finally relieved when the bottle spun and landed on him, since he had been waiting rather patiently for his turn.

• Immediately he chose “Dare”, which didn’t surprise anyone. Yami instantly shouted that Jack would “have to run around outside the villa naked”, but Charlotte kindly reminded him that they couldn’t ask or dare each other to do anything “inappropriate”.

• So Yami made an adjustment; Jack would have to run around outside the villa wearing nothing but a speedo, which Charlotte allowed since he would be considered clothed.

• Jack agreed, but on the condition that Yami do it with him and that they race. So, Yami being Yami, agreed. The Captains all went outside after Jack had changed, and watched as he and Yami raced each other multiple times around the Villa.

Nozel's back must hurt after carrying his team during the Captain Battle Royale.

I mean, Come on, he made defensive manuvers during the entire fight, made sure the crystal wasn't destroyed, trapped Fuegoleon in a cage, and managed to hold off Charlotte, Vangence and Fuegoleon while Kaiser and Jack were knocked out and Yami was in Dorothy's dream world.

Extra headcannons of this AU about the aftermath of the incident :

Mereo after the incident only stayed for the funeral and leave to the forest never visiting the kingdom again

Fue who was a Captain and House Head at that time couldn't grieve properly so after work he would go to Leo's grave and spend time there with Leo

Noelle started to be more determined to be a magic knight since it was one of Leo's dreams and she wanted to honor him in a way

Mimosa was more determined to be a better healer so that she could heal anybody so no one she loved would leave like Leo did

Kirsch on the other hand act like canon did but he would care more for Noelle and Mimosa more (and Mimosa wouldn't mind Kirsch much like canon did)

Ever since Leo was killed, the Vermilion family would cut communication with their grandparents knowing there involvement with Leo's death

Most of the kingdom didn't know Leo even existed because Leo is always busy with training that he didn't attend most events but there would still be rumors about the third Vermilion being the little brother of the Captain of the Crimson Lions

After that event, Fue would be more pissed off with the Nobles for badmouthing he's little brother, he would immediately reply to their statement with if your going to badmouth him you should leave now

The Crimson Lions doesn't know anything about Leo at all and they would wonder the questionable items in their captain's desk

The Captains would give their condolences for Fue and give him some space knowing how much he means to him

Fue would always dream of Leo and sometimes nightmares about him about Leo asking him why did he leave him alone and demanding him to come back he sometimes wonder why he did it too

Fue personality would be like canon but he would be more defensive about someone insulting somebody because of what happen to his brother

Fue would keep most of his brother's item and there would be a picture of Leo at his room and desk

The Crimson Lions would be curious about the boy in the picture at the captain's desk because of how much he looks like him

Randall would be the one who asked Fue and would be shock when he reveals that the boy was his younger brother , Him being curious would ask him what happen to him and Fue would sigh and had a regretful look. Randall noticing his expression would said that he didn't need to answer him and apologize but Fue would chuckle and said he died two years ago that would shook Randall making him to apologize about bringing him up with Fue being it's alright you didn't know

The news about the rumor would spread fast around the squad about the captain's younger brother and the squad for a few days would give Fue sympathetic looks with Fue just giving them bitter smiles

When Asta showed up in the entrance exam, Fue would look at him and reminded him about Leo but since he doesn't wanna be biased about it he didn't raised his hand after the selection

Journeying by foot has been demanding for Amaryllis. Despite the fact she is walking around in the dark, everything else has become difficult, from the undersupply of essential reserves & funds to knowing the last time she bathed was long ago. However, she still walks on, hoping to find someplace hidden enough to heal some more away from anyone else, and will likely rely on some forests for food and shelter. Ideally, she wants to locate some woodland with a body of water nearby and possibly plants she could eat, but her familiarity with that could be more satisfactory. She must rely on hunting, but her mind is finding somewhere to get herself cleaned.

Surprised, the young woman noticed the lack of homes spreading for miles as she trudged on, whereas a few hours already passed since the golden-haired woman left that small village where that young boy, Asta, and a few others lived. The young woman wishes she could have stayed a few days longer. Regardless, in her mind, she would get too emotionally attached. If the Magic Defense Force locates her whereabouts and knights from over here get involved, the innocent lives in that village will be part of the crossfire. Thanks to her, countless lives ravaged do not sound the most outstanding, mainly when she sees how generous everyone there is.

An hour after daybreak, Amaryllis comes across tons of forest land spreading for miles, which is all she has seen on this trip, but she notices a body of water, and her face glows. "Finally," she sighs, smiling, "I can take a bath."

She limps to the body of water, and once reaching the edge of the lake, she sets down her grimoire, its new carrier, and withdraws her cloak on the grassy floor. She darts around to ensure no one else watches her as she prepares to extract her apparel. Once she thinks about it, she has not seen her body in its new bandages since her fresher ones, even the ones before the new ones and before that. She's hesitant to remove them now and skip the bath, knowing what she will see will disgrace her, letting the cause of them happen.

Her needs, however, are more critical than her current appearance, so she discards her clothing, folds them neatly, and sets them on top of her grimoire. Only left in her undergarments, she finally sees where her new bandages are and the old wounds that healed into nasty scars.

Her right forearm has a fresh and thick bandage, and her thighs have a new set of dressings, covering more skin this time. She feels the one around her neck, loving the texture of how fresh it is, and her midriff has a thicker layer because of that reopened wound. She looks over to the scars painting her body: her left forearm has a big patchy spot, looking like someone nearly took a chunk of flesh out, both wrists have deep laceration scarring thanks to its terrible stitch work, and her chest has some marks that healed and scars on her palms. She dreads the need to remove the newer bandages to let them breathe and debates about keeping them on. Of course, she has that extra set of clothes she wore on her rough journey to Clover's border and thinks the poor quality of those clothes will work better as wound dressings.

She takes a deep breath, begins removing her undergarments, and pulls her bandages one by one, getting underway at the forearm and working her way to her midsection. For her applications, she starts where the ends are and turns her head away to dodge the severity, knowing how each will potentially be disturbing. It will only hurt her more than the wounds do already.

"Being unclothed in the woods feels bizarre, but fortunately, it could be worse," Amaryllis thinks.

She sits in the cold water for a while to soak in the feeling and uses her hands to scrub off any dirt or grime accumulated on her body, being careful at the area around her new wounds. She tilts her head back to submerge her hair, using her fingers to comb through the strands. It is all knotted; her hands cannot get most of them like she wants. There is one section she has to be careful with because, over a week ago, she got a nasty gash.

Amaryllis freezes, listening to a man's voice calling out for someone—or something.

"Damnit, Captain," a male's voice says, "you can't let those wild beasts run loose whenever you take a dump."

"Wild beasts?" Amaryllis wonders.

She turns around in the water and sees a three-headed wolf standing behind her. Her eyes go wide, and in a split second, she uses some of the fire magic she mustered while resting. A gust of fire hits the wolf, and it yelps out in pain before going apeshit on the young woman. Amaryllis runs out of the water and moves her stuff to grab her grimoire, immediately turning to a page that will subdue the beast but not kill it.

Slouching on the ground, the beast stands inches from her face, and with her left hand, she touches the beast's face and casts her spell, "Flame Magic: Sleep Pyroalasis!"

Sleep Pyroalasis, a close combat spell, uses fire from Amaryllis's hand and transmits from the fingertips of the heat to another. It serves as a spinal pyro shock, sending heat through the spine and causing body impairment and slumber for a few minutes. It depends on how solid or much mana the wielder has, but it is perfect for fleeing or subduing someone briefly.

Once the spell takes effect, Amaryllis moves fast to get her and her stuff away before the beast falls to the ground with a loud thud. Her chest heaves as she holds onto her property, trying to control her breathing and heart rate, staring at the creature. Whoever is looking for the monster found it and the petrified golden-haired woman. The young woman looks and sees the man in question, the same one calling out for that monster.

Amaryllis sees a slender young man of average stature and build, with droopy-like eyes and light brown hair looking reasonably wild. He sports a black robe with a bull emblem on the right, a light green, loose-fitting tunic with long sleeves and tails at the back, and a white shirt. He also wears opaque trousers and a verdant pair of wide, knee-high boots that lace up the front. His grimoire holder on his left hip and models a couple of green earrings.

"Damnit," the male panics, "Captain Yami's gonna kill me!"

The light brown-haired male glimpses at the soaked blonde woman, his eyes lighting up, seeing a pretty woman. However, what also crosses his mind is the naked woman, trying to cover herself up the best she can, lying on the ground, and his captain's pet on the earth, unconscious next to her. He does not notice the scars on her body or the wounds exposed to the naked eye.

"My apologies, madam," the male says, smiling as he walks over to Amaryllis to get a better view of her. "My name's Finral, and if I knew there was a pretty lady such as yourself out here, I would have–"

At that moment, Finral notices the wounds.

"–helped you."

His eyes glance at each visible wound on her skin, branding her flesh like a sick illustration she has to wear for the rest of her life. He sees the woman's facial expression, wearing fear on her face like it is all she knows. He tries to move toward her, but she still has her grimoire out, noticing the spade on the cover. He kneels to her level, a foot away from her, and asks, "Did you get those wounds there?"

She nods, still shaking.

"Okay," Finral thinks for a moment before an idea comes to mind and says, "I'm going to go back to the base to get you something to eat. I'm bringing a friend of mine, too. I think you'll like her."

Amaryllis points at her throat to let Finral know about her condition. He takes a mental note, opens a portal that looks like a form of spatial magic to her, and leaves the young woman alone once more.

Amaryllis takes the time to grab her undergarments and puts them on before the male comes back. She grasps her old bandages to recover her wounds, recognizing she will not proceed with her soak. As she throws her shorts and tank back on her somewhat damp body, Finral's portal materializes again; this time, he has a bowl of something, and a woman around her age appears.

"Ugh, come on, Finral," the woman groans, "I got a headache, so quit being so noisy about this 'sickly-looking woman.'"

The woman Finral has with him is a tall, youthful woman with wavy mid-back length pink hair that remains loose in a lob hairstyle with bangs parted to the left side, purple eyes, full lips, and a full-figured body. She models a slim, sleeveless, fit, red-violet top and miniskirt that is exceptionally short and only obscures her buttocks, and wears red-violet evening gloves. Her top permits her to showcase much of her torso, with a sizeable v-shaped opening revealing part of her breasts and midriff, connected at one point around her navel region, and the cups holding her breasts have curvy edges.

She also models dark purple stockings and garter belts underneath her boots. Her thigh-high, red-violet boots are skin-tight and split at the collars, creating a V-shape. She furthermore sports a red-violet hat with a conical dome, dipping onto one side near the end. The cap also has a purple ribbon encircling its rim with a pin of the intricate design attached to it and a very wide brim. In addition, she totes her grimoire inside a lavender bag on her right side, strapping to a lavender belt around her waistline and a pair of earrings.

The pink-haired woman looks over to see Amaryllis's condition, realizing his squad mate did not exaggerate how bad she looked.

"Oh my," the woman gasps, "you poor thing."

Amaryllis keeps kneeling there on the grass, her lifeless baby blue eyes glancing back and forth between the two adults before her. Finral glances down momentarily, acknowledging he has the small bowl of food in his hand, and gives it to the golden blonde-haired woman. She takes the bowl of food and looks at it, examining its contents.

The clumpy consistency to the eye would not look pleasing; however, the sweet aroma pulls her in as the food warms her hands, as she proceeds to look at it. She glimpses up and notices Finral and the beautiful woman gabbing to each other in hushed voices, but she can hear the dialogue.

"Finral,” the woman says, “where the hell did you find her.”

"She was taking a bath out here–"

"–you were stalking her?! No wonder she's terrified!"

"Vanessa, look," Finral informs the woman, "I offered to get her help, but I think she's more afraid of someone ratting her out."

"We can't just leave her here! Quit being a coward!"

The two other grown-ups hear the sound of something growling, and they look over to see their captain's pet awakened. Worst part? It is pissed off.

Amaryllis sits in the grass, some of her food gone, and grabs the utensil out before she offers the rest to the beast. The animal sniffs the food twice before trying it and having it all, satisfied by the taste. The golden-haired woman uses one hand to hold the bowl while she utilizes the other to pat the creature, and slowly, the two of them gain their trust in each other.

"See," Finral speaks to Vanessa, watching the event unfold, "she's fine alone."

"Still,” Vanessa snaps, “I’m gonna ask.”

The pink-haired lady walks up to Amaryllis and kneels in front of her once the beast walks over to someplace else. At that instant, nonetheless, a different man yells out.

"FINRAL," he roars, "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

"Damnit," Finral panics, "it's Captain! I gotta run!"

Both women watch Finral use his spatial magic to transport himself and the beast someplace. The pink-haired woman giggles, watching him panic, and the golden blonde-haired woman watches the kind man who helped her disappear.

Vanessa darts back to Amaryllis, who uses her hand to run it over the grass, feeling the texture and loving it. The pink-haired woman watches her, trying to figure out what she has been through.

"So,” Vanessa asks, “you here by yourself?"

Amaryllis looks up and nods her head.

Vanessa pouts as she thinks about having the lady stay at the Black Bulls' hideout; however, her gang is known for its malignant demeanor and is deemed the worst squad in the kingdom. On top of that, her squad mates consist of a delinquent, a sociopath obsessed with fighting, Finral (a cowardly ladies' man), a criminal obsessed with his little sister, and a captain with a shabby exterior who sometimes shows no mercy on newcomers could terrify the woman. She does not want the woman to wander further into the kingdom because she can get herself hurt and turned in by other magic knights. Someone in Amaryllis's condition should not be wandering around aimlessly.

"Look," Vanessa says, "I'd ask you to crash at the hideout, but with how wild it is over there, I doubt you'd like it. The rest of the trip will be hazardous, trust me. But, there is a church in the Common Realm I can take you to. That OK?"

Amaryllis nods her head. Vanessa smiles and goes away for a bit to grab her broom. The young woman gets up and dusts the grass off her knees before putting her shoes and cloak back on. Putting her grimoire in its carrier, the pink-haired woman returns with a broomstick.

"Alright," Vanessa declares, "hop on, stranger!"

"There is a rumor,” a magic knight says, “about a young woman who entered the Clover Kingdom undetected.”

Squad mates of the Purple Orcas, one of the nine Magic Knight Squads in the Clover Kingdom, have their meeting amongst each other.

"If she is from Spade," one man says, "we should capture her immediately."

"But,” another man asks, “why is she out here?"

"Whatever the matter is," Gueldre Poizot, the captain of the Purple Orcas, explains to his subordinates, "if we capture her, she might let us know something. Plus, if we take her back to the Spade Kingdom, they can offer some rewards."

All his men nod in agreement, realizing what is at stake to bring this woman back alive.

"That settles it," Gueldre announces, fixing his mask, "we're capturing the fugitive!"

All of the Purple Orca mages cheer loudly and begin their search for the woman in question.

• Would be happy for Yami and Charlotte and would probably be the first or second person to congratulate them!

• He’d probably tease Charlotte a little bit just to try and irritate Yami a bit.

• William would probably buy them things for the baby that he saw in the City or when he was out on missions. He doesn’t go too overboard with it though, he just gets a little something here and there that he thinks the child would want or need!

• William would be close to an uncle to the YamiChar child since I HC that Yami and William are like brothers in a way so he’d definitely visit and spoil them a little bit!

Fuegoleon:

• Would be pleasantly surprised by their news.

• He, like the others, would congratulate them and would try to give them words of encouragement!

• He would also try and give them advice on babies and small children since he remembered what Leo was like as one.

• He would be more like a friend or a mentor to their child than an uncle, but if the child saw him as an uncle figure then he wouldn’t object and would carry that title proudly!

Dorothy:

• Would be very happy and excited for Yami and Charlotte!

• She’d congratulate Charlotte first and would slightly tease that she had been waiting for them to announce this news since they got married!

• She would probably take Yami and Charlotte to her Glamour world and show them all the possible ways their child could look, act, etc;

• She would spoil the child rotten long before it’s, she would also deem herself their “Auntie Dorothy”.

Nozel:

• Would be mildly surprised as well.

• But he would congratulate them while also making slight jabs at Yami like he usually did.

• He would appear indifferent on the outside but on the inside he would be genuinely happy that they were having a child, especially since he knew what all they’d been through.

• He probably wouldn’t be like an uncle to their child. He would be more like a Mentor or someone they respected and kind of looked up too.

Jack:

• Would be very surprised that Yami and Charlotte were having a child.

• Out of all the Captains he would give Yami the hardest time about it, which Yami would dish back as usual.

• He would congratulate them though in between giving Yami a hard time and the two bickering back and forth as usual.

• I don’t think he’d be like an uncle to their kid, he would probably be someone the child would respect, but I could see him having a similar relationship with the child like he does Yami.

Rill:

• He would be a mixture of Fuegoleon and Dorothy, he was pleasantly surprised by the news but also excited and happy for them!

• He congratulated them like the others and even offered to paint their first family portrait, but he had to promise not to infuse it with his magic.

• Tried to do an impression of what Yami and Charlotte’s child would look like, which would immediately backfire.

• He would probably be a mixture of an uncle and a cool older brother to their child! He would probably try and teach them how to paint and show off his magic at the same time when the child was old enough!
