happy birthday, my love.  you are, and will always be, the love of my life. my platonic soulmate. one of my best friends. we’re approaching ten years of friendship, something that i am so proud of. the pair of us have gone through hell together. you’ve been there for some of the toughest times of my life and i can never thank you enough for that. 

i want nothing more than to be with you today. it’s a big birthday but the state of the world is keeping us apart for now. so, when i’m next down, we’ll have to make up for it. you and me, doing the things we do... they are some of the best moments of my life. you’re my rock. i cannot imagine what my life would be without you.
