Man this last stretch(?) of Relink is really firing off on all cylinders. From slaughtering waves of Avia cronies to piloting a fucking mech to taking down other mechs and an airship with said mech this shit is lit.

Biggest shout out to Gallanza and Maglielle’s tag team boss. Without a doubt thee hardest boss encounter I’ve had yet(I had to use a revive potion for the first time in 8 chapters). Who knew hornhead’s rampaging cross with dark pint’s magic spam would cause me such a fucking headache. Top tier, make them fucking playable Cygames.

Disappeared for some days (and probably will continue to do so) because I played and finished Relink!!! I pre-ordered on the PS4 and was able to play it a few days early because of early access. It was really good and quite worth the wait in my opinion, one of the few games where the delays did it good because it's quite polished. The story was predictable in some portions but I overall enjoyed it and love the Relink-only characters. The boss fights were very interactive and the whole game a very cinematic and movie-like experience, it makes me very excited for Cilius' fight in the future update!!!!

Relink spoilers, but I think it's so mean that Tweyen has to fight Gallanza and Maglielle in her FE. They're so annoying together!

But Siete, who is completely at fault for this entire situation, gets off comparatively easy

Tweyen pays the consequences of Seofon's actions with having to survive one of the most annoying raid of the game, meanwhile Seofon gets out of it pretty easily.

Like lorewise i think it's super cute and i cried that they care so much for Id there.

but also why would you do this to TWEYEN when SEOFON deserves a beat up. It's unfair. SEOFON is the man who can summon another person to fight by his side for crying out loud.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink PS5 and PS4 demo launches in January 2024; playable characters Cagliostro, Seofon, and Tweyen announced

Cagliostro will be a playable character in action RPG Granblue Fantasy: Relink, and Seofon and Tweyen will join the roster as playable characters via a free update in April 2024, publisher Cygames and developer Cygames Osaka announced.

Cygames also revealed the Granblue Fantasy: Relink theme song “Good Night, Good Morning,” which is sung by Nao Toyama, and announced that a free demo will be available for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in January 2024.

dragons dogma 2 comes out next week just in time for my week off but idk if I’m ready to move on from granblue fantasy relink. Im still trying to complete chapter 0 but I have to level up because these fights are getting insaaaane lol I was 8 levels under fighting furycane in extreme difficulty and I barely made it through. And my next fights involve fighting Id, Gallanza, and Maglielle sooooo yeah no way do I wanna go in unless I’m at least matching their levels 😵

I’m still only 30 hours in which is surprising. I doubt I’ll ever play online but even doing these quests by myself hasn’t gotten tiring...yet. Tayu’itar is the one boss fight I don’t mind doing over and over because of the epic music that plays and also the gameplay in this game is just so damn fun. Doing a skybound arte and then breaking and then doing link time on a boss just never gets old.

anyway I’m just rambling now but yeah, I’ve heard lots of good things about dragons dogma 2 and the gameplay looks interesting enough but I know it’s one of those games that will just suck me in, so having a week off to play it sounds like a perfect time to pick it up. Since I’m done with the main story coming back to GBF relink shouldn’t be too bad if I leave it alone for a couple of months, but still. I guess we’ll see if I can at least do a couple of more extreme difficulty sidequests before I have to take a break for DD2. 😌

Finally squared off with Maglielle(the “dark pint” I mentioned from before). Turns out she’s a weapon summoner, dominantly swords but she uses other legendary weapons like hammers and lances too, who has ninja midgets at her service. They tried to viciously kosh the team but we were too good

Focusing on Magli herself, her boss fight was even more fun than Gallanza’s. Whereas old horn head felt like fighting a barely phased Juggernaunt, dark pint felt tryna catch a crackhead with a hundred switch blades. She darts all around the arena and has an onslaught of AOE’s that can get you from anywhere. Good spectacle, good fun.

But she pales in comparison to what comes after…

So, Zeta's FEs in Relink are about this kid who falls in love with her

But over the course of them she also has a match with Maglielle and after winning Maglielle agrees to treat her to delicious fruit pancakes

The last episode is the kid sending Zeta a letter and the last words are "It's okay if you date other people in the meantime (until he's ready to marry her for real)" and literally the next sentence is Maglielle asking Zeta if she's ready to eat pancakes

So Maglielle and Zeta are obviously dating now and in this essay I -
