@maijataiga so whats going on is aaron (whom u may or may not know) made a post like “ i will respect your opinion as long as your opinion doesnt disrespect my existence” or something and it got popular enough that like. seven hundred things happened. including people editing certain words to modify the post, and then the post ending up on those shirts and stuff that those “feminist” clothing brands sell online. also the other day i saw a meme referencing it. so basically people are profiting off of aarons post and this is both incredibly funny and also kinda sad, because the internet is like. the free market. and people stealin shit and essentially using others’ labour for their own profit all the damn time.

@maijataiga the webseries I'm talking about are "nothing much to do", "call me katie" (my fave of these actually) and "12th grade or whatever" ALL Shakespeare adaptations there's also a couple non Shakespeare ones but I haven't kept up with them

@maijataiga umm theyre both hard to describe beyond their urls (neither have ever been my mutuals also) but essentially theyre people that are annoying and clutter up your dash but post nice aesthetic stuff sometimes, are fake-confident (which like.. whatever, fake till u make) in an annoying way, are genetically blessed (which is why i followed them both lmao) and also at first glance seem like they have decent politics but then u realize they .. kinda dont? like theyre in the “social justis online industry” for the sake of some weird online capital
