This photo was taken when we were invited to join a wedding in Myanmar that was blocking the road. They were all celebrating and practically stopped our motorbikes and dragged us into the wedding! They fed us and provided us with some drinks. I then was forced to became their wedding photographer! Everyone wanted their photo taken and to see what they looked like. Guatapé near Medellín is worth the 2hr bus journey. It’s takes you into this man made reservoir with beautiful turquoise waters and tree covered island.🌴🌴🌳🌴 If you are feeling fit enough it is a must to trek up the hundred of stairs up to Piedra del Peño, a giant granite rock which offers the most sensational views. The road to anywhere!! This beautiful tarmac was soon to be replaced once we got to Mongolia. 🚗🚗It was the strangest experience having about 5/6Km of amazing smooth tarmac just as you entered over the boarder into Mongolia. Then you are left with 1,400Km of dirt until you get to Ulaanbaatar. It didn’t go well for us once we got to Mongolia as we were saved later on that night thinking we new best and going to Ulaangom. It got to the situation of 4 routes and pick one! We picked wrong. We were picked up lost by a local who we followed home in the rain and wind. He then fed us Yak cheese! This was taken from my second favourite place in Laos, Muang Ngoi. The Muang Ngoi view point on top of Mt Phaboon is well worth the hike. Start early due to the heat and you will not be disappointed. For information on the view point, head to the Gecko bar and for tickets. Muang Ngoi has a very relaxed vibe and I cannot stress how relaxing it is to visit for a few days if your are planning to head to Laos. . . Probably the best view I have ever seen from a tent! ⛺️⛰ It woke at 01:00 to start my hike up to Ilimani to the summit at 6,438m. The tent door opened up with a long drop if you went right rather than left! Avalanches on the glacier sounded like thunder rumbling in the valley. Needles to say I didn’t sleep very well that night. . Pura Dalem Ulanda is a complex of temples on Lake Bratan in Bali, Indonesia 🇮🇩. There is so much more than just temples here.
