I recently moved from the sunny beaches of Florida after eight years to the nature park loving state of Arkansas earlier this year. We had a picturesque, albeit muggy walk along the Cumberland River to bask in the wonder of the setting sun today. I know Luna doesn’t see colors the same way I do but I always hope the show is as enjoyable for her as it is for me. I googled some info on what colors are visible to her as compared to me and tried to edit the photo I selected to get an idea of what she might see — and I’ve gotta say, its still pretty incredible. Now I’ll begin the task of explaining to her how the sun isn’t rising and setting in the actual since but only rising and setting relative to our perspective and how it’s actually the Earth that is rotating on an axis that gives the appearance that the sun is moving through the sky. Good morning from @thecelticmanor. My stay at the Celtic Manor was cut short, due to government announcements that all restaurants, gyms and leisure facilities would close. I was a little worried I would have to pay to stay in a 5 star hotel, and not get a refund, but staff at the hotel were very accommodating, helpful, and offered a refund for the stays I could no longer do, so I thank them for that. They even upgraded me twice! Staying at a hotel during all of this was very strange. Staycations seem to be out the window right now, due to essential travel being necessary. Are you cancelling any non-essential travel?
