My biggest pet peeve in BL and rom-com series are when they give up their dreams, goals and aspirations for love. I am a big advocate on everyone in their series having their own individuality for a healthy relationship…BUT THE WAY NAME CRIED AT THAT BUS STOP MADE ME FORGET EVERYTHING! Name spoke his first sentence, stood there visibly holding back tears, began crying, and then left me a book that is pretty much the story of how we met…I WOULD’VE FOLDED OR MOVED HIM INTO MY ROOM! My heart needs some fluff after this week of intensity and angst.

Let me tell you my favourite scene from Remember Me, the part starts at 9:45, though my favourite is from 9:54.

The way Em became sal-ting (how do I explain it in English, like you became so nervous when being close with someone you like that you behave weirdly/OOC) was adorable. And Name's expressions were great as usual.

I worked hard, studied hard, so someone would know my worth. I was really happy that I followed my dream with that boy. But one day, that boy ran away from me, left me to wait for him. I hoped one day that he would come back. And now… he really came back. I’m really happy, Phob. That boy came back to tell me that he doesn’t want to follow his dream anymore. He told me he’s worthless, that he doesn’t deserve to live in this world. But, for me… he was the one who made me know my worth. He was the one who made me want to live in this world. I started this series with such high hopes for Em. He was so kind and welcoming and protective over Name, and while I knew that there would be some angst when he left, I figured he’d at least, ya know… make a fucking effort.

But no, week after week, Em and Name somehow magically appear on my computer screen to respectively piss me the fuck off and tear my entire heart out.

Em is in his Selfish Era apparently, and I am not amused. How can he not realize how hard this change is for Name? These boys are his only friends, and now every one of them is gone. His lifeline was just ripped out from under him, and Em seems like he doesn’t even care. What happened to that sweet boy from the beginning who sat and read with Name and took him to the movies and hugged him and jumped around with him when he passed his entrance exam? I want that Em back, but I also want Name to fucking tear him a new one and show him how badly he was hurt.

At this point, as much as I want them to be happy and to be together, I don’t even think I want Name to forgive Em.
