Just uploaded a performance of the composition "Zithromax Jitters" performed live by JG Thirlwell's Manorexia. The performance was part of Thirlwell's 'Composer Spotlight' concert at the Whitney Museum on November 2 2007. The lineup of players for this Manorexia show were Leyna Marika Papach – violin, Elena Moon Park – violin, Karen Waltuch – viola, Felix Fan – cello, David Cossin – percussion, David Broome – piano and JG Thirlwell – laptop and compositions. This arrangement was recorded and released on the Manorexia album "The Mesopelagic Waters". The original studio version comes from the first Manorexia album, "Volvox Turbo". While eating disorders are often more associated with females and those identifying as female, the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) found that 33% of males use unhealthy behaviors to control their weight.

I've just published a new video on YouTube of a string quartet performance of the Manorexia classic 'A Plastic Island in the Pacific'. It's from the concert 'JG Thirlwell : String Quartets' at the Noguchi Sculpture Museum in Queens, NY on August 9 2015.

The quartet consisted of Adrianna Mateo on violin and Elena Moon Park on violin and trumpet, Isabel Hagen on viola and Clara Kennedy on cello. Live electronic treatments and manipulations were performed on the instruments by JG Thirlwell.
