i've been thinking about this for so long and i'm gonna be real: said explanations are gonna be me mostly rambling about this stupid niche idea. rip 2017-2019 animation meme era you would've loved bells hells </3

dorian - fashion / posin'

fashion was actually the first one i thought of and the idea came to me when they were picking out clothes for the ball

and posin' just paints me a nice scenario where dorian aka our token noble helps the party with ball etiquette and mannerisms

the vibe of these two in general just scream dorian vibes

orym - soldier, poet, king / can't sleep love

this one was a bit easy, considering soldier, poet, king's already on his exu playlist

and for can't sleep love.. it may or not be known but i'm a dorym truther so i just think that orym misses a certain air genasi

also the image of that animation meme with a sending stone instead of a phone is really cool to me

imogen - panic room

i actually decided to make this post because panic room played on shuffle and my immediate thought was her

look at what she's going through and tell me it doesn't fit

"but these voices, these strange noises, they follow me in here" imogen would kin this song

laudna - baby hotline / body

i'm thinking about baby hotline more lyrically but i can totally see her and her story being featured in this one

while body's upbeat tune and not-so-upbeat lyrics just captures laudna's vibe

i think laudna would be hard to animate because of how already "animated" she is in nature but i think her unhingeness really suits these two

fcg - smile

'CAUSE ALL I REALLY NEED'S A SMILE SMILE SMILE FROM THESE HAPPY FRIENDS OF MINE

then the animation meme transitions from super happy to angst/gore

i really like where fcg's character is going and not to be that bitch who adds deep meaning in a post about bh as animation memes but i think the lore/change of personality we're getting really suits the agenda of this one

ashton - go hard / bye lena problems

ashton's had me sweating because i liked both of these and they're the reason why i'm allowing multiple animation memes for each character

back to explaining: go hard is a bop, it's about someone with not enough money to party but parties anyway, and the title is literally go hard (literally ashton)

and the vibe of bye lena problems fits ashton astronomically well

chetney - the wolf / the man

I WAS STRUGGLING A BIT WITH CHET BUT WHEN I REMEMBERED THE WOLF EXISTED I HAD A BREAKTHROUGH

basically the same reasoning that travis had when he made chetney's playlist: it has wolf in it so why the heck not

the man honestly came from the rta tattoo so that's one good thing that character design element gave me

fearne - wonderland / phut hon

i think that wonderland would really work well in showing fearne just being her chaotic self (also wonderland = the feywild)

i have no excuses for phut hon being here other than i think fearne would look good doing the dance PLEASE DON'T HURT ME I'M JUST A LESBIAN WHO THINKS FEARNE LOOKS REALLY NICE

bertrand - RPG

almost skipped bertie, glad i didn't because i think the concept of this is funny

that concept being bertrand showing off his newfound party to eshteross

and the confused/annoyed sounds at the end of the meme is them being angry at him for lounging around while they fight eshteross

that scene in c3 e12 where dorian decided to put away the clothes he wanted to wear, took it upon himself to wear someone else's clothes, and wear a pre-made mask? robbie describing what vibe the clothes gave off and how it felt borderline-militaristic with an emphasis on its lack of whimsy very much unlike his chiffon top and fabric-mache mask? that same chiffon top he received as a gift from opal, the one he got in result of a performance that wasn't intended for anyone else but the entertainment of his friends and himself; a piece of sentimental value? that same mask he handcrafted and made in the midst of his newfound group? those clothes he gave up the opportunity to wear because he felt the need to be something unlike himself just to fit the standard and image of "brontë secondsun wyvernwind" instead of dorian storm?

yeah. mhm.

it doesn't hurt at all.
