What are your favorite ear-saving hacks to wear your mask comfortably? I have already had to take out some of my earrings because they were so irritated after only 3 days of mask wearing from the elastic on my ears. Ugh! Has anyone tried using this paper clip trick? Or maybe there are better solutions that you can suggest to me. It's not like I can reopen for business yet, but I want to be prepared for when I can. Thanks!! 509-961-6555 #maskhacks #savetheears #yakima #barebliss #readyforphase2

The Genius Hair Clip Hack for Face Masks to Help Alleviate Pressure on Your Ears
Face masks have become de rigueuer since the COVID-19 pandemic began. Fashion brands across Canada are creating masks for consumers in various colours, textures and styles, and in addition to being a protective measure, the masks are also becoming a way for people to express their individual style. And now, hairstylist Olivia Smalley – who goes by the name OMG Artistry on Instagram – has served up quite the nifty little hair clip hack to help alleviate pressure on the ears from the elasticized loops on a face mask.
Sharing two short videos on Instagram, Smalley (who went viral back in April when she shared a video of a hair hack that leaves you with a professional-looking blowout without using a hairdryer) used a chic hair clip to secure the elastic loop on the mask to the hair. “Ears hurt? Grab a clip to hold back mask. And not to mention it looks so cute,” she wrote in the caption – and she’s not wrong.

Sleep No More: Mask hack for steamy nights.
You're looking at the inside of my mask:

I did this hastily in my hotel room so your sizes and cuts may vary, but I wanted to pass it on. The first time I visited the only thing distracting from my enjoyment was the humidity under my mask. When you're running around a lot and you have sweat on the bridge of your nose, it tickles! I solved the problem by purchasing some of that super sticky moleskin you see in the foot aisle. I didn't want felt because it would be itchy and I think cotton batting might have grown gross too fast, but feel free to experiment. I measured the bridge of my nose and cut a long piece. I also ripped off a corner of the adhesive cover to make it easier to apply in a hurry. I tucked it into my pocket and took it with me to Sleep No More. While everyone was fiddling with the backs of thier masks, I quickly adhered my cut piece to the inside. Not only did it make it more comfortable, it totally eliminated the sweat problem. I wasn't aware of even having a mask for the rest of the night.
