this next task is simple, cute, and centered around headcanons ! the goal of this task is to allow us to understand and get to know everyone’s characters better !

instructions: write down 5 headcanons about your character. there is no length requirement, so these headcanons can either be a sentence long or an entire paragraph ! it’s up to you.

details: these can either be headcanons about habits they have, stories from their childhood, or something as simple as what their favorite food is.

duration: this task will last from july 10th to the 15th, aka it will end when our third event starts !

explanations: his mf theme song. i feel like these lyrics don’t rlly need an explanation for how they describe him bc we all know his label is the party animal and he’s quite literally only sober maybe 2 days out of the week ( i’m bein dead serious flkafj )

notable lines: hey there, mr. blue, we’re so pleased to be with you. look around, see what you do: everybody smiles at you / mr. blue, you did it right, but soon comes mr. night creepin’ over. now his hand is on your shoulder. never mind, i’ll remember you this way.

explanations: first off all, the entire vibe of this song is just very griffin. v peppy and upbeat, has its low and scary sounding points but overall is just so groovy and makes you wanna skip down the side walk. but the lyrics !!! griffin def has a knack for making people smile because he’s just so easy to get along with, but he’s got his little vices that can expose sides of him that are not so friendly

notable lines: i could sell snow to a ski slope, i could sell evil to the devil, non-believers to a temple, sh*t, i could sell water to a speedboat / what’s a God without a little OD ?

explanations: ZOO WEE MAMA IS THIS SONG HIM TO A T. the first batch of lyrics relates to him bc his job is lobbying, meaning he literally has to be eloquent and convincing for a living. and i also like to think that w the way i write him, griff words things in a Certain Type of Way that’s just good, you know ?? and then that second lyric bit ??? v dark i’m aware but he Does dabble frequently in very extreme drugs that he shouldn’t and its definitely leading him quickly and effectively towards a v dangerous path that he’s just way too good at hiding

notable lines: steady taking shots, but i’m never hurting nothing, even then you don’t worry none / you’d think i’m jumping out the window how i got ‘em open / i praise the lord, then break the law

explanations: i rlly like the first lyric bunch for griffo bc when i tell y’all this man is an actual addict and yet most ppl don’t even know ??  like i feel like characters r v aware that he’s the party animal but just not to the extreme extent that it rlly is, and thus no one rlly worries abt him besides his family and gwen and soleil, who r aware. and griffin prefers it that way tbh like he genuinely does not think he has a problem so doesn’t want to hear any concern. and then the second lyric set i interpret in two ways, both of which apply to him: he’s got so many “windows of opportunities” open bc he rlly is so successful as a young lobbyist. like he doesn’t wear designer bc he doesn’t know any designer lmao but griffin is lowkey loaded. literally just google how much a lobbyist makes. n then my second interpretation is that the windows are his dangerous lifestyle habits, and he’s got so many going on that you’d think he’s about to do smth dangerous, but he’s rlly not. he’s just irresponsible and aloof to his own irresponsibleness

and then finally, the last line rlly is a testament to him bc it’s almost like the law is his Lord since his whole job is about either refuting or supporting legal policies being introduced, and yet he’s constantly breaking the law w the drug choices he makes !!

HANBIN  KOO  :  HEADCANONS  .

currently  lives  in  a  renovated  first  floor  apartment  in  brooklyn  .  he  has  a  private  garden  and  a  solarium  that  he’s  ridiculously  attached  to  (  and  you  couldn’t  pay  him  to  live  anywhere  other  than  brooklyn  )  .  

a  very  simple  man  when  it  comes  to  his  café  orders  .  prefers  either  a  caffé  americano  or  espresso  macchiato  with  a  butter  croissant  .  he  doesn’t  buy  coffee  often  ,  though  .  if  he’s  not  rushing  out  of  the  house  (  as  he  usually  is  )  he’ll  take  the  time  to  make  french  press  coffee  .  

the  chef  friend  (  of  course  )  who  makes  sure  everyone  eats  when  they  come  over  .  whether  it’s  finger  foods  or  something  fancy  he  whipped  up  ,  hanbin  makes  sure  everyone  gets  something  they  like  when  they  come  over  .  his  proudest  possession  is  his  small  wine  collection  .

HOME.

ngl  ,  duri  pretty  much  runs  his  house  .  she  has  a  comfortable  place  to  sleep  in  his  bedroom  and  also  the  living  room  ,  but  spends  her  time  in  the  solarium  instead  .  has  a  basket  overflowing  with  toys  and  always  buys  her  a  new  one  even  when  she  doesn’t  need  one  .

very  much  an  organized  mess  .  people  get  confused  looking  for  things  in  his  house  because  it  might  not  make  sense  to  them  ,  but  it  makes  perfect  sense  to  him  .  

same  thing  with  his  closet  ,  hanbin  knows  where  everything  is  but  someone  else  might  not  .  took  the  time  to  organize  everything  based  on  color  and  brand  .

his  favorite  piece  of  furniture  in  his  apartment  is  this  fancy  sectional  he  found  at  west  elm  .  he’s  all  about  functional  furniture  ,  but  he  especially  loves  the  neutrality  of  brown  leather  .  i  don’t  know  exactly  how  his  apartment  is  styled  ,  but  i’d  like  to  think  that  it’s  very  neutral  in  terms  of  tones  .

SUNNIE  HONG  :  HEADCANONS  .

despite  her  being  …  sad  ,  she  is  a  firm  believer  in  dancing  by  herself  .  loves  to  put  on  her  favorite  album(s)  while  cleaning  and  really  doesn’t  care  who  sees  (  or  hears  )  .  

big  tee  shirts  for  life  .  if  you  ever  catch  her  at  a  bodega  ,  she’s  getting  snacks  in  a  giant  shirt  .  if  you  catch  her  at  a  café  early  on  a  lazy  sunday  morning  ,  same  thing  .  she  occasionally  wears  cute  matching  pajama  sets  ,  but  also  doesn’t  care  .

goes  no  a  ‘  no  meat  ’  meal  at  least  three  times  a  week  .  sometimes  she  succeeds  ,  but  she  usually  end  up  craving  deep - fried  pork  cutlet  more  times  than  necessary  .

let  her  sleep  !  people  might  call  her  an  old  woman  ,  but  sunnie  is  usually  in  bed  no  later  than  10pm  .  it’s  a  miracle  if  someone  gets  her  to  go  out  and  she  doesn’t  somehow  weasel  her  way  out  of  staying  out  too  late  .  

HOME.

considering  that  she  doesn’t  have  a  pet  ,  sunnie  only  has  plants  lingering  around  her  apartment  .  she  only  has  low - maintenance  plants  ,  though  ,  such  as  a  zenzi  plant  ,  succulents  in  her  bathroom  ,  and  a  zz  plant  .

her  most  prized  possession  is  her  apartment  is  her  pink  velvet  couch  .  she  spends  most  of  her  time  on  it  and  has  probably  fallen  asleep  on  it  multiple  times  .

she  lives  in  one  of  those  old  ,  pre - war  apartment  buildings  where  you  can  only  use  stairs  .  there  have  definitely  been  times  where  dates  have  gotten  awkward  because  she  lives  on  the  sixth  floor  .

she  hangs  out  on  her  fire  escape  sometimes  ,  but  not  often  .  will  enjoy  a  coffee  and  a  podcast  (  with  headphones  in  )  on  an  early  morning  if  she  has  the  chance  .

MANNERISMS.

bites  her  lip  and  the  inside  of  her  cheek  all  the  time  .  sometimes  she  does it  without  thinking  ,  and  most  of  the  time  it’s  when  she’s  in   deep  thought  .

one  of  those  people  who  will  chug  her  drinks  when  she  notices  the  ice  is  melting  .  really  hates  the  taste  of  watered  down  drinks  (  both  alcoholic  and  non  )  ,  so  if  you  see  her  chugging  ,  it’s  time  for  another  drink  .  

has  a  habit  of  changing  her  hair  multiple  times  a  day  .  she’ll  come  to  work  with  her  hair  down  ,  then  it’ll  end  up  in  a  low  bun  ,  and  finally  in  a  ponytail  before  it’s  all  said  and  done  .  fingers  are  constantly  twirling  her  hair  no  matter  the  occasion  .  

mentioned  in  her  intro  ,  but  sunnie  is  soft  spoken  .  she  really  isn’t  one  to  yell  (  unless  she’s  angry  )  ,  and  even  then  she’s  just  not  a  loud  speaker  and  prefers  to  keep  her  tone  relaxed  .

sunnie  has  a  boisterous  laugh  ,  but  she’ll  do  her  best  to  hide  it  .  she  will  cover  her  mouth  or  let  out  small  giggles  in  an  effort  to  stop  them  ,  but  it  usually  doesn’t  work  .  get  ready  to  hear  some  loud  laughter  in  the  halls  of  masters  .

despite the fact that she spent the first 19 years of her life in the same town, it never felt like home to her. it was the type of town where everyone had some connection to every other person. they knew each other intimately, the size of the town didn’t allow any way around it. everyone who josie grew up around loved almswood. nobody ever seemed to leave, nor did they have any desire to do so. everyone spent their first eighteen years going to the same school with the same thirty-something people and after graduation, most people either went to the community college a half hour away or got married and settled down almost immediately. the distain was palpable in the voices of those who asked her about her college plans. “oh! columbia. bless your heart.”  “isn’t that school in new york? don’t you think that’s a bit too… urban? and it’s so far away! wouldn’t you just be happier here?” no, she decided. she wanted something different, something more than what almswood had to offer. it may have been her hometown, but that didn’t mean that it was her home.

If Milo could break his heart into little pieces, all sorts of things would fall out. Music, theater, films, videos, and New York City. Sure, it was wholesome, but what’s wrong with just doing things that make you happy?

located at the madison square park tower , athena’s penthouse of residence is the definition of luxurious. marble , blush , chanel  &  rose gold were the main focus of the interior design  &  the penthouse wore it very well. while that didn’t go unnoticed , the view alone was worth the price tag. 

the first home she could call her own. although it was not her forever home , it was still exciting. she had no idea how her mothers convinced her to stay in the columbia housing throughout her entire college career. but , i guess they made up for it by gifting her the penthouse that she was eyeing since her junior year. it took her months to finally get it to where she wanted it  &  proud wasn’t even the correct adjective to describe how she felt once the finishing touches were added. she knew new york city was where she wanted to be  &  there was no turning back as soon as she signed on the dotted line  &  got her keys. she was determined to make a name for herself. being another cho to take over the country club business was not an option. 

what was an option was her finally accepting the friend request that she received months prior. with millions of emotions eating her up leading to the first night in her new home , athena didn’t know what to do. she was angry. she felt betrayed. she was sad. she was curious. she was confused. why  ? why now  ?  after all these years , why now  ?  she hated her. she hated how she abandoned her. she hated how she had another child  &  kept them. was she not good enough  ?  she hated how she made her feel like she was never good enough. she fucking hated her. yet , the first night in her new home was the first night of her finally getting to ask her  ‘    why  ?    ’

↳ MASTERS TASK. 002

jude’s last upload on instagram was during the hawaii trip. before that, he hadn’t posted in nearly a year. he doesn’t use majority of his social media for a specific main reason, but the one he’ll say to your face with that convenient little accent of his, is that he’s simply too busy with trials and case work to ever think about posting something. that, and he keeps forgetting his password ( is it uofalabamaobjectionandcowboyboots97 or 98 ? ) 

the actual reason ? like many of the problems in his life, it all boils down to the cheating. because, if he’s active on instagram, wouldn’t lindsey expect him to eventually post a photo of her ? he’s on her page, after all, and they are engaged. and then wouldn’t tiffany expect the same, and abby, and diamond, and carla, and jenny n., and jenny y., and all the other girls he’s accidentally made think he saw them as more than just a hookup and regrets in the form of an hourglass silhouette ? 

the thing about being an active cheater, he’s come to realize, is that the best way to go about it is basically being dead -- there’s no expectations when you’re literally not alive, right ? right ? so when he slips out of someone’s bed like a spirit in the night, when he treats their apartment like a crime scene, is careful not to leave fingerprints or evidence of his existence, when he ghosts the girl without her ever receiving a text from him ever again, he knows he’s safe. the thing about hooking up with a lawyer, you see, is that he knows how to get away with anything. and sure, okay, yeah, he’s probably hurt the girls’ feelings, but by pretending there’s not a soul in his body, by pretending to be nothing but a vessel and a blocked number, he’s safe. for now.

robin’s wardrobe has always been floral-centered. growing up in marseille, the only flowers that grew along the rocky beaches were small wildflowers, and those were rare at best. his trips into the countryside as a child left him loving flowers, and, once he had grown a little bit, he started dressing to show that love. 

his wardrobe is also defiant of gender norms -- he doesn’t care what section of the store it’s in, if it draws his eye, he’ll buy it. sheer skirts are some of his favorite pieces. (honestly, if it’s sheer at all, he probably loves it). 

he also pays to hand-embroider pieces without floral touches to them - even the plainest sweatshirt can have a little embellishment on the shoulder. he just really likes flowers.

heather never leaves home without at least one of her several journals. she keeps everything in them, and as chaotic as that could sound, she always knows where her things are as long as they’re in a journal. receipts, business cards, those little flyers people handed out sometimes, appointments reminders, all tucked in between poetry and observations and love letters she’ll never send. all of heather’s ideas begin on journal pages, from the time she was six up to just last week. she doesn’t know who she is if she isn’t writing something, and while she has countless notes on her phone, something about the action of writing in a journal is so grounding. if it isn’t written down on paper, sometimes heather feels like she didn’t have the thought at all.
