Dear Alice was the 2018 thesis film by Matt Cerini for his studies at the School of Visual Arts NYC, a heartwarming scene about an aspiring artist who tries to encourage a youngster's talents during the span of a brief bus ride.

I’m performing the second-ever rendition of Pulse Music by Steve Reich with my digital version of the “phase shifting pulse gate” instrument, followed by my adaptation of the piece for a new “gate” instrument (more on that soon). This is on May 12th at Arete in Greepoint, BK, as part of the Wavefield Ensemble.

On A Tangent Podcast in SVA Features

SVA Computer Animation and Visual Effects’ very own On A Tangent podcast, hosted by Kenneth Rosen, Micheal Davin, Maya Mendonca, and Gabriel Aguirre, has been featured on SVA’s Community Features in an article of “SVA's Podcast Pros on Their Favorite Shows.” The article highlights SVA’s expert podcasters and their personal favorite programs. 

Gabriel Aguirre, co-host of On A Tangent & treasurer of the 3D Animation Club, spoke about his favorite podcast The Bancroft Brothers Animation Podcast, "As someone who takes part in an animation podcast, I think it's interesting to hear what questions they ask and I get plenty of ideas as well for myself. As an animator myself, I like how deep they go into certain topics, things that may not come up in class or that a teacher won’t bring up."
