once someone commented "mavecão" in a post about maveriques, alluding Ford Maverick (a car). I wonder if maveque and mavecone could be reclaimed by maverique Latines or something, but the last one looks so much with "maricone", which is a slur for sissies
i don't entirely understand this, but putting it out there for maverique Latines :)

I was thinking of traverique/transverique (based on travesti/trans+maverique) but I can't think of a definition. @gender-resource help?
The idea comes from someone using maveque/mavecone (more specifically mavecão, which is similar to a native slur because it's suffixed with a diminutive that attributes sloppiness), it was alluding the Ford Maverick but also joking about the gender.
