I made a "2023" folder in my Death Note fanfic folder, but I just took everything out and deleted the folder cuz. yeah. I'm not starting any new DN fics unless something miraculous happens.

I'm a long term EHW (we're nice when you get to know us, I swear), but I have recently been enjoying greywing's shayphine story. Since I'm not familiar at all with fics or fic authors featuring Shay I'm wondering if you can recommend some more good ones with shayphine or coshayphine. Maybe you're the wrong person to ask but your blog name suggested you might be knowledgeable.

well, in my opinion, you should be nice to everyone?  that was kind of my point in every post i made on the subject that you’re obviously referencing in there. to me, being condescending on posts without context and attacking people for having different opinions is uh, not very nice.  like, i get having your circle of friends and your in-jokes.  totally go for it!!  i bid you well!!  i wish many laughs upon you!!  but when you take those jokes, that to you are harmless but outsiders have no context for, and people say it makes them uncomfortable.... you gotta listen.  instead of harassing people and blowing up my ims and askbox.

and to answer your questions.  i think... it’s just me and @morningmightcomebyaccident​ that write shay and shayphine on the regular.   but @lifeorbeth​ has written several minifics with shay in them that if you squint really hard could be interpreted as shayphine.  i’ve also turned @not-your-zbroyu to the dark side and she’s filled a couple of prompts from me and did a couple on her own.  @yesbothways  wrote this whole series on coshayphine with a few including just shayphine.  idk who this is on tumblr but this is a fic that i wish would update, but i fully support if the writer no longer wishes to continue.

the problem with finding shay fic is that everybody has done... a couple.  and then went back to their regularly scheduled ships so like... there’s some smatterings.  unfortunately, even less are shayphine centric (i honestly think there are more in the shay/sarah tag than the shay/delphine tag).  and like.. the tag on Ao3 is either a dream or a weird sex thing and like.... i just want to read cuddles.  i can’t believe i have to do everything myself.......
