I made my first animation for this!! its on chapter 22 :D

It's time for Malevolent big bang!!!!! I was chuffed as hell to be matched with @fangirlshipper's fic, Are You Still Afraid of Nothing?, which is set during the gang's 13th century jaunt. So of course my heart said to make bas reliefs inspired by Medieval carvings.

I also had the pleasure of working with artists @luckychinacat, @wizzabethgray, and livielightyear, go check out their rad work (and also just look at all the art and writing in the big bang tag because it knocks my fucking socks off wtf)

Made with polymer clay and acrylic paint. I wanted a certain look and so instead of sculpting and then baking, I baked and then carved them.

My piece for this year's @malevolentbigbang ! I was paired with my writer @jaegereska for their lovely fic A Light in the Darkness which is now up and readable on Ao3! This piece was inspired by the descriptions in the fic, as well as some motifs inspired by the Archangels. If you can spot them that's great ;) Tumblr's quality absolutely BUTCHERed it so hopefully the details are still visible. If not a higher quality image is HERE.

Hello everyone! This is a reminder that Malevolent Big Bang artist and pinch hitter signups will open in one week (July 13th, 2024)! Be sure to check this blog on July 13th to find a link to our artist and pinch hitter signup forms.

If you're interested in signing up, please read over our rules, FAQ, and schedule to ensure that you are able to meet the event requirements. This is an event for fans 18 and older. Artists will be asked to complete a single piece of artwork for their assigned fic. Permitted artforms include:

Digital/scanned art

Podfic (an audio recording of a fic read aloud)

Physical artworks (including bookbinding, embroidery, jewelry, knitting/crochet, papercrafting, quilting, sculpture, etc.)

Other digital artforms such as fanvideos, musical compositions, etc.

I had a wonderful time building this house from a scene of @late-to-the-magnus-archiveste 's amazing fic "But It Beats the Darkness". It is an incredible fic you should definitely read it!

Somnambulism - Big Bang 2024

Hello, everyone, and happy Big Bang season! This year, I decided to write a S4 AU Noel/Oscar case fic where they try to track down a missing Arthur. It was a lot of fun to really dig into characters I hadn't written in depth before, and I found that I missed the easy-breezy style of Noel.

This year, I had the pleasure of working with Arthur (ceaselesslyfalling on Tumblr and Instagram), Mikky (friskyblitz226 on Twitter and Instagram), and Seth (wniemocy on Tumblr and wniemocy_art on Instagram). All tremendously talented: check out their art in the fic and then take a glance at their profiles!

Summary: Despite his breezy exterior, Noel is not doing well post-Dreamlands captivity. He has violent nightmares every night, he has no connections in New York, and for the past few years, he's been sleepwalking through life. After Oscar wakes up alone and discovers Arthur missing from the Allan farmstead, he recruits Detective Noel for help in tracking him down. Noel is less than thrilled to be working with an alcoholic priest who should really be in the hospital, but remembering his promise to help Arthur, he agrees. Despite a rocky start, Noel comes to find that there is more to Oscar than he previously expected: a strong moral core, a reckless bravery, and even a sly wit. Everything inside Noel has felt dead for so long - but there is something to Oscar's company and relentless support that makes Noel want to wake up.
