My first #studioghibli film was My Neighbor Totoro. This was before I knew what anime was, that this film represented a whole different culture and its folklore. It was love at first watch and I rented this movie from blockbuster as much as my parents allowed (I'm aging myself, I know 🙈). Color spotlight:⠀ Courtney's Grey⠀ Now this is truly a crowd favorite. A mix of PBr7 and PB29, this one was made with two friend's named Courtney in mind, since they both have the favorite color of blue. I never would have imagined that it would be as wildly popular as it is, though I do absolutely love it myself! Moody, granulating, dark blue with earthy undertones, this complex color is great for many many things. Color spotlight:⠀ Lime⠀ Made with PY53 & PB28 this is a fairly opaque color that is BRIGHT! Although it is a cooler lime than you normally would see, I love this mix. It has some granulation due to the PB28, but that just makes this color more magical.
