About - new site
I don't see what you're saying there's not that many boxster Porsche cars out there but I can put this out there and I have a lot of shops in La not doing anything and I'll provide it for most any party unless we're having a feud right there in LA or recent problems I don't really have too many problems it's really other people saying it's me they'll probably come down and try and implicate me but if you have a boxster or similar even the old Porsche will work we can adjust the body I would like to build you a vehicle and we have our models listed here attached and our friend says those are different models basically in the same class and he has ideas for different classes that go along with it and he actually designed most of it and with me and our wives and they are awesome cars he did say that for growth and expansion he does have an idea to try and use front wheel drive vehicles and I'm open to that and he's hoping to help me with the design and they have a panel that's different to make it lighter and easier to install and it can be done by people the kid would be thorough but we like to do the work ourselves to give you a car and we warranty and guarantee it for our end of it because you're into the mechanical side tires and rims and we do some work on the top end and the exhaust but we also check the engine out and we give you a report and we keep that if it's a new car we do have full warranty ability. And we can certify it and we suggest you have it towed in but if you have less than thousand miles it's brand new now we're going to go ahead and put this up and I'm approving it and I'm going to make a waiting list that should speed up overtime at first it might be several months and then it might be reduced to several weeks because I'll be opening shops the whole time as customers come in and really the boxster is not much of a car it doesn't go that fast it's about a $195 mph most of these go well over 200 about 250 is the slowest and 350 is the fastest he does have ways of making it go a lot faster and I want to hear about it and he has ideas on making the change flight simpler and we're going to go with that too we do know who's out front and they're a pain in the ass and they shouldn't be there but in front of his house but we're going to go ahead with us and he wants to make other models and it looks similar to the Cena and we're going to try and negotiate something and right now I'm going to start this up and accept customers he doesn't supply anything I've got all my suppliers and it's just like the e-bike his electric without the e on the front and yeah he helped me name it and Chrissy did too and Hera and we are top level designers we've worked on Ferrari Porsche and Lamborghini and Bugatti and McLaren that last one is really his company he designed the whole car but he did it with Brad and I helped out and everyone was amazed they said we can beat everybody so he's good at it it's the same class it's a different style but he's got one that's a c3 that Brad might work with us on and it's so stealth and it's extremely fast nothing I've ever heard of those that fast except for the Cena and we're thinking about that and we might try and work with them but right now it's just the boxster and it turns it into a real car the monster doesn't have much horsepower and he's Volkswagen has a stigma so we might work into and there's plenty of other cars when is the Mazda it's still a mid-engine it's slow and power though he says his front engine drives they have a lot of power and go real fast too much power and they're American with 180 horsepower and 97 in works and most of them are that this one is 96 in and we can adjust and it would work and look awesome and I'll tell you what it's a great idea of it right now we're sticking with the Porsche so please if you have one you'd like these cars please sign up and send it down or come down test drive one they're awesome this is going to be great and I'm a race car driver actually F1 and a couple other types and I do well and on international circuits
Bg
We're going to do that I had some luck with Dan I see what he's saying he's having trouble getting stuff going he's got a car and it's an idea it looks great it's going to be below the radar that's a couple of yours are but I want to put mine in the box is useless I can't even zoom around without the things sliding all over like it's a Pontiac or something it's awful it's not it doesn't handle as well as the Saab that our friend's mom has I can't believe it this is a good idea
Tommy f
And yeah he'll probably come by eventually there's a couple others
Bg
We work together on the e-bike and we can be civil and we think we'll go by and drop ours off we want to see how he makes it and how it goes together some people say it might be a little complicated but like a race car but more so recent successes and we know how that goes and it's not real complicated and he says he's kind of right it's a mix but it's good tech so yeah we want to see that
Trump
We'd like to see how he does it too so we might get some up there and we are calling Jen she has friends friends of Katya that's her other character she's going to try and get them to go there so we're going to go ahead and do that
Thor Freya
I'm going to get one up there and my grand nephew recommends it says he builds his own small formula and he races the real ones and I know he does that and he wins I want to see what it is
Mac daddy
I got to get one this is great it's another one of his cars but it's based on a Porsche that's a big change in a relief more power would be nice and those 180 horsepower or more and it'll go plenty and he's good ideas and if he supports the company it'll work and what he's saying is we can actually support it I can help with the engineering and he's excited about it he wants to know about this cradle and how to do it and I know how to do it and he's told me and I understand it and I don't I know about the independence suspension you need it and there's a few other components it's not too bad but I want to do this and I want to send mine up there and see how you do
Shaq I was surprised that the guys did good with the Vader and they still do I know who's behind it and I know they're getting some help from both parties which is weird but they do that on purpose sometimes
We're going to get involved too and we know which car to work on and we know where the design went and our friend is pretty close and Vines going to vacation and they're going to go after things like that up here and I'd like to help with that I do know what he means you can't drive down the street with that thing the window can fly open there's too much glass way too much it's not safe you need to be able to roll over Windows look very very cool and it will go extremely fast it's not necessarily different class he says yeah it is cuz you have to stretch it out to the ear with 107 or 109 whatever the mid size and that's true too and it is a C2 and it should be and the cooling systems new and we haven't seen anybody use it yet so we have to try it and perfect it so we want to send a Porsche down there now so I'm going to call them up and try and get a hold of him and send it down I got paperwork online or I can send it down there with a signature for a rough order or magnitude and down payment with it I think I'll do that but I'd like to talk to him but if I can't I'm going to do that
Bill
I have to push you to the front of the line Bill and check and Preston says him and yeah these cars are nice they look really cool and they have a cage a full cage and we have some that are hardtop convertible and he likes the t-top but I didn't do it but the windshield is a roll cage and he's he's happy I paid attention good
Bg
Olympus
this is good work we know who it was he's not saying and he's saying it's excellent work I can't do any better it still needs to be nurtured and grown and supported and he wants his son and daughter-in-law to get there horse down there they said they already have one for me and Hera and now he's excited this is going to be great
You said part of the above it this is terrific and it's a great idea the vehicle's new and they look unique and they're very fast and they work very well we have ideas and we're going to support it and we're going to have people interested in supporting it do it and there are several parties believe it or not there having trouble with these big automobile companies and it's because of Mac proper and this is a great alternative and having different class ones as our son and daughter came up with is the best idea I've ever heard and we can move right into which would be the C2 the c3 would be more like Brad's car it'll be like a big consortium the legion of Doom shall we call it cuz you don't get along
Thor Freya

Papaya girl(Lando Norris)
Summary: your boyfriend goes with you to a film award ceremony
Wordcount: 981
A/N: this is the dress
Tumblr media
"Honey, are you ready?" Lando appears on the door of our shared room dressed with his elegant black suit waiting for me.
Today is a very important day for me as an actress. I have been acting for ten years, at the start doing little characters, but recently I have been acting in Hollywood with actors like Timothée Chalamet, Ryan Reynolds or Zendaya, and recently I worked on a film where I'm the main character of a sci-fi production, and my acting skills catches the attention of some important awards like Bafta and even the Oscars.
Today is the night of the Bafta Awards, here in London. Lando, as my boyfriend, is going with me to cheer me up.
"What if I don't win? I mean, there are other actresses nominated on the same category that are much better than me... I'm a rookie on this" I sighed looking at my reflection in the mirror. "Y/N, you are the only one who has multiple nominations in other awards. Don't worry, love."
After the make-up artist came to our house to do my routine they leave, leaving Lando and me alone. My dress is a beautifull orange long tulle dress, with a v neck and long sleeves. When Lando saw it for te first time on the shop he begged me to buy it, because is like the McLaren's orange.
"You look like the most beautiful papaya I have ever seen" he laughed hugging me and kissing my lips softly "I bet I'm better than your car" I teased sticking out my tongue "Hm... Maybe" he laughed.
He gave a look to his watch, that is the same color as my dress, and pecked my lips before taking my hand and walked out of the house. My manager is taking us to the theatre where the ceremony is taking place, so when we walked outside, he was waiting for us with his car parked in front of the door.
"I bet he wanted you to wear a orange dress just because he works at McLaren" my manager Connor laughed, giving me a hug and a bro hug to Lando "I mean, isn't she wonderful? Papaya colour is your colour" Lando laughed kissing my cheek.
Connor drived us to the Royal Albert Hall, and when we arrived to the red carpet where artists leave their cars to walk into the paparazzi, Lando squeezed my hand before Connor opened the car door to us. When we stepper outside, Lando helped me to fix my dress and took my hand between his, walking while I waved to the photographers. Some paparazzi asked to take photos of me, so Lando walked some feet away and left me pose to them. Others asked both of us to smile to their cameras. When we arrived to the photoshoot panel, all of the flashed blinded us making us laugh and Lando hugged my waist with one of his arms, attracting me to him.
"Well, that was a challenging experience " he laughed when me walked into the theatre and searched for our reserved chairs. "The Oscars are worse, I think. A lot of artists to fangilr with..." I laughed nervous. He kissed my hand and looked at me in the eyes "I love you, you know that, my little winner?" he asked smiling "Love you too, my little driver".
The show started and when the category of 'Best main actress' I squeezed Lando's hand when I heard the name of the nominated ones.
"And the winner to the 2021 Bafta, in the 'Best main actress ' category goes to..." a infinite silence filled the theatre and I squeezed my eyes close "Y/N L/N!"
I opened my eyes and looked at Lando and my manager, who are now standing up and clapping with a big smile on their faces. "Oh my god" I sighed standing up and kissing Lando on the lips before I started to walk to the stage, where no other than Tom Hiddleston is waiting for me clapping and smiling to me. He gave me two kisses on my cheeks and delivered me the award. I looked at the audience behind the microphones, waiting to give my winner speech.
"Well, I'm going to say the truth. I don't have any speech, so I think I should improvise a lot..." I laughed nervous making the public clap and laugh, and i dried the happy tears of my face "First of all I want to say thanks to the big team I worked with to make this amazing movie. It was such a fantastic experience and I enjoyed it a lot. Second, I want to say thanks to my parents who are now watching me on the TV of their house, I'm sure they are crying with my sister and their dog Frodo" my mind is running and my eyes are looking everywhere.
"And last, and no less important, I want to thank my handsome boyfriend. Lando, thank you so much for being my rock and the person who supported me with everything I do. Thank you so much for always believe in me. And you better make some space in your Formula 1 trophies shelves because this little thing goes straight to our house. Thank you so much!" I waved goodway to the audience and Tom Hiddleston walked me out of the stage, guiding me on the corridors to go back to my seat.
"Here is our winner!" Connor exclaimed hugging me and admiring the award "fuck, it's so beautiful"
Lando hugged me and whispered on my ear "I'm so proud of you baby, so so so proud of you" he smiled at me caressing my cheeks before kissing me on the lips "Now you know how I feel every time you are on a podium" I smiled and booped his nose "Gosh I love so much"

Talking about your acting, you are a member of the cast of Billions.
I am. I’m very lucky to be a member of that cast.
Oh, you’re wonderful on that Showtime series. For those who may not have seen it, it’s this very intense drama about New York politics and high finance, with some wicked humor interwoven.
Brian Koppelman and David Levien, the creators of the show, are some of the smartest, most in-depth people I’ve ever met, but also two of the funniest guys, where it’s so much fun in between takes just to go over and just, you know, pal around with them, and talk about anything.
We have a clip of, with your character, Mafee —
Yeah, Dudley Mafee.
Dudley Mafee. Let’s listen to it.
MAFEE: Hey, Axe, you know what today is? It’s **** Todd Krakow in the ear day. AXE: Why do you think I’d want to do that? MAFEE: That panel was Godzilla versus Mothra. AXE: Do you have a plan? Or are we just gonna jump him and break his kneecaps when he gets out of his McLaren? MAFEE: Okay, so Krakow’s been running his mouth about China, right? I… You can tell the way he talks. AXE: The way he talks? MAFEE: Yeah. Last year, he said, “watching factories grow.” It made me wonder, “How’s he seeing this?” AXE: Really, Mafee? You expect me to believe you suddenly swapped Ali G reruns for videos of Todd Krakow’s speeches on China? MAFEE: Okay. My analyst caught it.
How did you land the part of Dudley Mafee?
Luck. But also, they, Brian and David, I’ve known for years, and they had me come in and audition for the pilot, and…
Ah, so they had you in mind.
Yeah, and I came in for the pilot, and there wasn’t… I came back in several times, and there was one actor that they didn’t secure for a role, and they were like, “We think we’re gonna give you this role,” but it was a little out of my depth, and we kinda both knew that. It was one of the main roles. Not, you know, it wasn’t Axe or Chuck, but it was, it was a role that was more prominent. And then they got the actor they wanted, and so they called me and they said, “Listen, we would like to have you in the pilot. We could have you as a one-off. Or if we go to series, we’d like to write you a role.” You know, and you look at the cast, like, it’s Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis, Maggie Siff, Malin Akerman, David Costabile. It’s like, you guys are going to series. I’ll put my money on that. And it did, and then they came up with the character of Mafee, which originally was, I think, just supposed to be kind of, like, a limited part, just a guy at Axe Capital, you know, just at Axe’s shop. And then they grew it, and I’ve been very lucky where they’ve taken the character. And then, you know, the addition of Taylor to the cast was a thing where, that scene that you just played was the introduction to Taylor, to Axe, and that has been a great storyline throughout the series, which really heated up at the end of season 3. So we’ve been filming season 4, and it’s, I’m very excited. March 17th, it’ll be back out, and it’s gonna be good.
Oh, I can’t wait to see it. Now, the show has a big cast, consisting of the prosecutor side with Paul Giamatti and the hedge fund side where your character works for Bobby Axelrod. It seems that in the beginning, indeed your character was a smaller role for comic relief, and then, clearly, because a whole lot of people were impressed with your work —
Oh, I hope. I mean, that’s a very nice way to think of it.
They expanded it. So you work for Bobby Axelrod, played by this great British actor Damian Lewis.
One of the best.
And talk about dialect! How do the Brits do it?
And then when we try, it looks so sloppy.
Dick van Dyke!
It looks so bad. Yeah, it looks, it looks so bad when we try it. But the one thing that I can say about the Billions cast is, top to bottom, it’s filled with some of the most talented people I’ve ever been around, from Condola Rashad, to Kelly AuCoin, to Asia Kate Dillon, to Daniel Isaac. There’s all these people that are just these small, little parts of Billions, but then you pan back and you realize, it makes the whole universe work with Billions. But there’s so much talent that it's just — like I said, I’m a comedian first, and probably always will be. And just to be around those people and to learn how to act is, it’s unbelievable. It’s such a great opportunity.
Are there some especially funny stories you can share with us? All public radio-friendly?
Yes, Season 1, there was a scene that they cut from the finale, the season 1 finale, where there was, it was supposed to be bonus time at Axe Capital. And they did, they kind of brought it back in an incarnation in season 3, where Axe is bonusing everyone and it’s a quick kind of cut scene. But in season 1, they had a specific scene where the character of Mafee goes into Axe’s office and tries to play hardball with Axe and Wags. And he tries, he brings a folder and has all these numbers to back up why he should get a bigger bonus. And I kept blowing the line. It was a very number-heavy line, and I blew it once, which, that happens, and everyone’s there as a professional, and you just restart, do the line again. I screwed up a second time and felt it a little worse. And the third and fourth time I felt bad, but the fourth time I screwed it up, Damian, who is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life, made a noise, where he was like, “Ugghh.” And it drove me to study my lines harder than any — I, now I never come in over — there’s never not a time where I’m not overprepared on Billions. Because, because of that moment, where you let down a room — not only the crew, but David Costabile and Damian Lewis, who are two phenomenal actors — and you blow it, and you’re like, “This is the most embarrassed…” I’ve bombed and flop sweated less than how I felt in that room. And then they cut the scene! I got it eventually, but then they cut it, and we were like, “Augghh, augghh, that was a real, that was a real time to learn right there.”
Okay, a learning curve.
Yeah, that’s a real big learning curve, is screwing up in front of two great actors.
In this show, a common thread is that nearly every character is amoral. But Mafee is one of the few characters who has a moral compass. Are you proud of that aspect of his character?
I was, until that compass got manipulated in season 3. I don’t want to give it away for anyone that hasn’t seen it, but there is a, there was a giveaway in season 3 where Mafee was manipulated to go against his moral compass. So it was, but it was, you know, it’s fun. It’s fun to be that character. Just kind of be like, “Oh, I’m the guy with a soul, I guess.” For a time being, and then it’s gone, ‘cause eventually everyone loses it. And I think that was kind of a lesson in Billions that they were teaching, is, no one’s unaffected by greed or… yeah, greed, even when it’s, even when it’s disguised as loyalty, it’s still greed, in a certain way.

Customising clothing Process
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
My task was to finish my flipped / rehashed /recycled garment, to embellish and refine it ready for a styled photo shoot and finally to research what is meant by sustainable fashion and what we can do to improve our shopping habits.I had to consider what is accessible and achievable from home aswell as scale (will it show up on a styled photoshoot?) and Colour scheme (does it work together?). Before i started adding to my clothing I photographed ‘before’ pictures to show my progress and uploaded them to my blog, I discussed what initial ideas I had. I wanted my ‘new’ invented clothing to look weird and wonderful, from out of this world and turn conventional fashion on its head. To ‘enhance’ my piece I am going to draw attention to interesting areas. I definitely have taken a lot of inspiration from the punk fashion style because of the effortlessly cool look the style has. The ‘distressed look’ became a punk-staple and the safety-pin trend has often been attributed to American musician Richard Hell. The trend was quickly adopted by design-duo Westwood and McLaren and radically transformed into both a fashion and political statement. Led by Westwood and McLaren, distorted customisation such as rips, zips, studs, badges and armbands were now being used as a political statement on the street. These clothes had something to say – they carried slogans, not logos. Westwood and McLaren’s ‘anarchy shirt’ is an apt example. For my creation i used a brown zara blazer, old denim, sharpie, safety pins,a chain, needle and thread. I had to consider health and safety precautions such as the use of scissors, needles, safety pins and making sure i use them carefully. Above i have photographed the process of me attaching the back panel of denim to my blazer. I marked out and measured where i wanted the denim to go and then i cut it out of the fabric. I hand stitched the denim to the back of the blazer and when i had done that i used a sharpie and doodle over the denim. I also removed one of the sleeves and re attached it with a chain in the middle. On the other sleeve I added patchwork denim that was attached with safety pins. Other embellishments i added were denim pockets and patches and safety pins down both front lapels. Overall i think the customised garment turned out really well considering the resources available to me.

The first two propositions summarize the price responsiveness of shoppers F1 Driver Ayrton Senna World Titles 1988 1990 1991 Mclaren Shirt. We test the implications of the propositions using a market basket scanner panel database. The database includes two years of shopping data for 1,042 households in two separate market areas. The result is quite intuitive; a (large basket) shopper with less ability to respond to prices in individual product categories will be more sensitive to the expected cost of the overall portfolio (the market basket) when choosing a store. In particular, the large basket shoppers are less responsive to price in their individual category purchase incidence decisions; this makes them more responsive to the expected basket price in their store choice decisions. Thus, we abstract from the vicissitudes of individual shopping trips and focus on meaningful differences across shoppers in terms of the expected basket size per trip. Thus, we have the interesting result that small basket shoppers prefer HILO stores, even at higher average prices. Conversely, as the shopper becomes more of small basket shopper, the EDLP store must lower its price closer to the deal price in the HILO store. Large basket shoppers are shoppers who have a relatively high probability of purchase for any given category, and as such they are more captive to prices across many different categories.

1969 Ford Torino: Talladega Nights (and Days)
When it comes to NASCAR’s “aero warriors,” the Plymouth Superbird is more famous, but Tom Bailey isn’t a Mopar guy. Actually, he isn’t a Ford guy either. Bailey’s most well-known for building Camaros. Fast ones, with streamlined composite bodies and multiple HOT ROD Drag Week wins. So what’s a bowtie drag racer doing with a corner-turning Ford Talladega? Well, you won’t be too surprised to hear it started with a Camaro.
“I was working on my first Drag Week car- an orange ’69 Camaro called “Indian Burial Ground”- at a shop in Wisconsin, and my friend Jim Plimpton [a well-known Ford racer] pulled up in this white ’69 Talladega,” says Bailey. “I’d never really liked a Ford before, but that thing was cool, and I wanted it.” Bailey told Plimpton that if he ever wanted to sell the Talladega to give him a call, and about five years later, that’s what happened. “I really didn’t need it, but I knew how rare it was, so I said I’d take it. Figured it would just be a basic six-month build.” We all know how that goes. Bailey started work on the Talladega in 2015 and unveiled it mostly-done at SEMA 2018. In fairness, it was a six-month build, just several times over.
Ironically, the 1969 Ford Torino Talladega did not win the 1969 Talladega 500—that was won by Richard Brickhouse in the newly introduced Dodge Daytona. The Talladega did win 26 races that season, as well as the manufacturer and driver’s championship with David Pearson. Oh, LeeRoy Yarbrough also won in the Talladega…at Daytona. It’s a good enough story that Camaro-loyalist Tom Bailey decided to build his own version of the famous Ford aero-warrior.
The Talladega was originally designed in the late 1960s to beat Chrysler in NASCAR racing, and is the first car built for stock car racing to consider aerodynamics to the extent that it radically affected the body design. In 1967, Ford was struggling for wins. Dodge and Plymouth had the 426 Hemi in their oval track cars, and even heavily restricted, the elephant engine was stomping the competition. Ford engineers redesigned both Mercury and Ford midsize cars into slippery fastbacks, and then in ’69, they went one step further. Working with the Holman and Moody race team they took the fastback Torino and extended the nose, tucked in the fenders, and reworked the rocker panels around a NASCAR tech rule so that the stock Talladega would measure high, and could be “legally” lower in race trim. The resulting Ford Torino Talladegas (and subsequent Mercury Cyclone Spoiler IIs) were slick and fast but needed to be homologated before NASCAR would let them race.
In 1969, the deal was that Ford had to build 500 Talladegas, and 100 had to be complete before they would be legal for NASCAR racing. According to interviews with Ralph Moody, the first cars went straight to the track, and Bill France got suspicious that there were so many in race shops and so few on dealer floors, and he paid a visit to the assembly line in Atlanta, GA, to snoop around. In move straight out of the Shelby playbook, Holman and Moody’s team offered to drive each Talladega past France so he could count them. Since the Talladega was only available in three different colors and one trim spec, Ol’ Bill never realized he was counting the same few cars over and over. In the end, Ford did build the requisite number of Talladegas, and while an exact count isn’t documented, Talladega experts believe 750 cars were made, including prototypes and pilot cars.
No changes were made to the stock Ford Performance crate 5.0 Coyote, but Tom Bailey says he may do a cam change now that he’s driven the car. “It doesn’t matter what gear you’re in, when you hit 5500 rpm, it smokes the tires. I think I’d like that to come in a little sooner.”
The backstory on the Talladega, as well as its rarity and good looks appealed to Bailey’s love of motorsports and muscle car history. Plimpton’s car was in decent shape, and initially Bailey was just going to put a modernized powerplant in it and call it good, but like all projects, it grew. After a consultation with designer Murray Pfaff for a rendering, Bailey met Matt Gurjack of Sled Alley in Clinton Township, MI. “Tom originally came by about a different car, but a few weeks later he called asking about the Talladega. He wanted the car lowered with better brakes and a Coyote motor and manual trans,” says Gurjack. “There aren’t any aftermarket bolt-on chassis parts that would give Tom the stance and handling he was looking for, so I gave him the option of putting the full chassis under it, and the car kinda took off from there.”
Folks unfamiliar with the Talladega may expect to hear a laundry list of body modifications to give the car the radical, windblown look you see now, but not only did they leave the exterior sheetmetal untouched, Bailey and Gurjack didn’t even repaint it. “That’s how it came to me,” says Bailey. “I didn’t want to mess with the body because of the heritage of it, how it was made, with the fenders grafted on after the main assembly line work.” Underneath was fair game. The Talladega sits on a modified version of a Roadster Shop Fast Track Torino chassis and Gurjack says he worked closely with Phil from RS to customize the undercarriage to the Talladega. “They designed around what we were doing. They left the motor mounts just tacked in place so we could move them back and forth to position the crate engine, and that was the main work we had to do on the chassis.” To fit on its new frame, the body was channeled, the rear section of the floor was raised to clear the kickup in the back, and the stock wheel tubs were removed, stretched, and reinstalled to give it a factory look when you open the trunk. The transmission tunnel was raised and rebuilt to clear the new Tremec 6-speed, and brackets and exhaust were all tucked up tight against the floorpan to allow for the lower ride height.
Holley EFI gauges provide the important info behind a Sparco steering wheel, and Vintage Air helps Bailey keep his cool, but the overall look of the dash is close to stock. Talladegas didn’t come with badges on the exterior, only the interior, and Bailey says that little chrome callout might be the rarest piece on the car.
Bailey is known for twin-turbo cars, and the Talledega is no different. In fact, that’s where it gets its name, “Talladega TT.” Pop that loooooong hood and gaze in wonder at a perfectly symmetrical forced induction set-up on a Ford Performance crate 5.0. Twin 66mm Bullseye Power turbos feed Wiley E. Coyote to the tune of 1,000 hp. “Crate Coyotes can’t handle more than that,” says Bailey, with the blasé tone of a man whose cars normally boast three times as much. Holley EFI handles the fuel part of feeding the beast, and in the back, a Strange rear axle with 3.70 gears sends the power out to 335/30-19 Nitto Nt05 tires on Forgeline Flush-Loc wheels. It shouldn’t be hard to spin the hides with the combo as is, but just to make sure he can use all the boost at will, Bailey included a line lock, the red button of which was the first thing we noticed inside the car. The second thing was a proper handbrake. Like Bill France, we’re starting to suspect shenanigans in the works.
“Yeah, I just want to have a good time with it,” says Bailey when asked about the homebuilt drift-mode and NSFW custom printing on the shift ball—the pattern shows “1,2,3,4,5,R and ‘F****n Fast.’”
“I’m not one of those McLaren or Ferrari people. I want to take this out like a modern NASCAR and run roadcourses with the foreign cars.” Bailey plans to spend the summer shaking out the new-build bugs, and then join other Talladega, Superbird, Spoiler II, and Daytona owners at the Aero Car Reunion later in 2019. “You know, when I started this, I thought I would get a lot of grief from the Talladega guys for not staying stock, but they’ve been super supportive. They keep saying, ‘If they’re all the same, it would be boring.’” Bailey’s Talladega TT could be described as terrific, and possibly terrifying, but it’s definitely not boring.
Forgeline wheels wrapped in Nitto rubber cover Brembo carbon ceramic brakes.
All stock Talladegas came with 428 Cobra-Jets backed by automatic transmissions, and all were bench-seat cars. To make room for the Tremec 6-speed, Bailey replaced the bench with TMI buckets and had covers made by SPC interiors to match on the rear.
Pop the trunk and you’re greeted by a 20-gallon stainless cell made by Rick’s Tanks. Gurjack made the formerly decorative rear filler cap work with the new tank, a neat bit of fabrication that most viewers would never even notice.
Because loud is better, a button on the console opens twin cut-outs in the 3-inch stainless exhaust, making the Hooker Blackheart mufflers superfluous.
The gorgeous turbo piping and headers are the work of Skinny Kid Race Cars, but the most challenging part of the tubing wasn’t in the engine bay, but rather the headlight inlet bezel. Bailey originally planned to do an LED/inlet combo like on a modern Hellcat Challenger, but decided it would be too modern, choosing instead to have a local machine shop cut the intake hoop to size.

GB SCIENCES SPONSORS "2018 INNOVATION IN MEDICAL CANNABIS THERAPIES" SYMPOSIUM
“To address the question ‘What can the cannabis industry do better or differently to serve the needs of medical patients and to be taken seriously in the medical space?’, we have gathered a broad range of experts in diverse fields related to both the production of and research of cannabis-based medicines,” said Dr. Andrea Small-Howard. “We hope to reveal the new innovations that will be necessary to make safe and effective cannabis-based medicines a reality. Progress may come from the standardization of cultivation or novel extraction methods. Other breakthroughs may come from the combination of cannabis and nanotechnology, or other novel delivery methods. It is a very exciting time to be developing cannabis-based medicines for patients with great unmet clinical needs.”
The primary objective of this symposium is to challenge conventional ways of thinking about medical cannabis from within the cannabis industry. Panels will explore developing better medical cannabis products through innovations in cultivation, extraction, and drug-delivery technologies; along with the essential supporting scientific and clinical research advances necessary to transform medical cannabis products from alternative use to mainstream medical products.
GB Sciences has invited top international and domestic researchers; as well as business leaders and legislators to address the following topics:
Novel Cannabis-based Drug Discovery will be led by Dr. Helen Turner, Vice President of Innovation and Dean of the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Chaminade University. She is joined by Dr. Norbert Kaminski from Michigan State University, who has studied cannabinoids for 22 years, discovered immune system expression of cannabinoid receptors, and has served on the recent National Academy of Sciences Study on the Health Effects of Cannabis and Cannabinoids. Dr. Maria Halabalaki of the University of Athens, Greece, Dr. Lisa Truong from Oregon State University Ag Center, Dr. Alexander Stokes of the University of Hawai’i, and Dr. Mark Speck from Chaminade University complete this expert research panel.
Challenges and Opportunities in Cannabis Clinical Trials will be directed by Dr. Carlos Rios-Bedoya from McLaren Health. He is joined by Dr. Ziva Cooper of Columbia University, who is a pioneer in the use of double-blind, placebo-controlled methods to study the effects of cannabis, cannabinoids, and opioids. Dr. Cooper was also a co-author of the National Academies of Sciences compendium on the Health Effects of Cannabis. They are joined by Dr. Michael Murphy, CEO, CSO, and Founder of World Wide Clinical Trials and Dr. Amrit Seetharam from CurAccel.
Innovations in Cultivation will discuss advances to serve patients who use the cannabis flower as their medicine. The panel is headed by Dr. Philip Elzer, the Executive Associate Dean of the Louisiana State University Ag Center. Dr. Elzer is joined by Dr. Ulrich Reimann-Philipp, the Lead Botanist of GB Sciences Louisiana, who pioneered tissue-culture micro-propagation in cannabis. Completing the panel are Brent Perkins, President & COO, of Scynce LED, Dani Fontaine of the Colorado Hemp Project, and Steve Joyner of the Quantum Shop, manufacturers of modular, portable cannabis pods.
The Extraction Technology Panel will be managed by Tom Arcuragi of GB Sciences and will discuss whether whole-plant extracts or purified individual cannabinoids are better for patients. He will be joined by Dr. Eleftherios Petrakia from the University of Athens, Greece, Dr. Dominick Monaco of GB Sciences, and Dr. Shane Johnson from BayMedica, LLC, a company that is developing bioequivalent cannabinoid production using yeast.
Novel Drug Delivery Systems will be moderated by Dr. Small-Howard of GB Sciences, who will be joined by nanotech researchers Dr. Mercedes Fernandez Arevalo and Dr. Lucia Martin Banderas from the University of Seville, Seville, Spain. They are joined by Scott Schaneville of Striptiva, LLC, and Dr. David Fulper, of Catalent Pharma Solutions, the leading global provider of advanced delivery technologies and development solutions for drugs, biologics and consumer health products.
Medical Cannabis Legislation will discuss legislative challenges and opportunities for supporting cannabis research and serving the needs of medical cannabis patients. The panel is led by Elizabeth Ashford, founder of Ceres Strategies, and will include political figures and advisors including a current Nevada State Senator, Sandra Tiffany, a former Nevada State Senator, and John Davis, President of GB Sciences Louisiana.
The final panel, Changing the Paradigm, will discuss moving cannabis from alternative to mainstream medicine and will be led by Dr. Dominick Monaco of GB Sciences. Brenda Gunsallas of Sahara Wellness and Dessert Aire will join Dr. Monaco and others, to discuss the advancements within the cannabis industry that are necessary to realize the medical promise of the cannabis plant.
Formal and informal opportunities for meeting and questioning panelists will be plentiful.
John Poss, CEO and Chairman of the Board of GB Sciences comments, “GB Sciences is proud to sponsor this annual symposium which brings together a disparate community of scientists, educators, business owners and legislators and in so doing; changes the landscape of the potentiality of medical cannabis.”
