the thing is. we keep saying they lied but i don’t think they did. we’ve talked about how excited and happy they’ve been about the support they’ve gotten from the crowd every time they wear a skirt or a dress. we heard the way the crowd protested when they said they’d never wear it again and the fan who yelled you can do whatever you want. maybe they planned this all along but i think maybe when they said they couldn’t wear it again they meant it. and it was only after that they changed their mind

I once said "May your rebirth be as beautiful as was once believed of your tragedy" in reference to my chem and it is. if you ever had any doubt in your mind, tonight will prove it to you. the smiles, the energy, the dress, the sea of flashlights. all of it was filmed. all of that is memorialized forever. The arena and stage alike beaming with joy and excitement and warmth. all of us feeling the same from watching the livestreams. they are no longer just a beautiful thing that died young in a car crash . they are no longer our "gone too soon" heros. They are here, right now, and so are we, and it is as beautiful as it ever has been.
