This fan-made project is made by Wazzy who rewrites and was able to construct a new story for this game in the form of an animated series and has a lot of help with voice actors, animators, artists, builders, writers, etc. for MCSM fans and newcomers to experience a new story of the Heroes’ journey. This is a remake of MCSM that will be fully-animated and a completely different story from the game.

“Block By Block: The Amulet” is a reimagining of the MCSM game developed by Telltale Games. They also add a lot of newer things that Mojang update for Minecraft like new creatures, blocks, biomes, etc. The axolotes, the Phantoms, the Warden, the amethyst, and Lush Caves did not appear in MCSM since it came out on October 13, 2015.

So as I said before, the remake is going to be completely different from the original game along with the plot, the characters, the locations, and everything. I also wanted to mention that Wazzy and his team are NOT affiliated, nor working with TellTale games or Mojang to bring MCSM games back and make Season 3. Like I said, this is a fan-made project. They had to change the title, the characters’ outfits, add new mobs, biomes, other new things from Minecraft updates, and rewrite the story completely different from the game to avoid copyrights.

The reason why they will not use “Minecraft Story Mode” as the title is because MCSM is owned by Mojang (even though they probably don’t care about it and are not planning to revive it in the future). And it could potentially get them sued, deleted, or anything bad like that might happen to his channel, which I hope that doesn’t! Wazzy and his team work really hard and put a lot of love into creating something amazing for a fan-made MCSM project. I would be really upset if something bad ever happens to their project.

Wazzy, if you’re reading this, I want to let you know that you are awesome and talented! Your team (like the voice actors, animators, artists, and builders) also did an amazing job for this project too! You really brought my childhood back and reminded me of why I love MCSM so much, which I’m really happy about.

It brings me joy to revisit my childhood and see the familiar characters that we know and love. It’s also nice that MCSM is still remembered and fans really love this fan-made project, and are also excited as I am to watch the remake. And your animation skills have improved well and it looks incredible. Outstanding too,

Despite so many flaws MCSM games have, it still holds dear to my heart. The official trailer you released is incredible and made me speechless! The animation, the backgrounds, the lighting, and everything in the trailer looks so COOL! This is a lot more epic than I imagined, and also breathtaking. Knowing how determined and passionate you were with your project, you did a fantastic job to make something awesome!

Anyway, I’m so excited to watch Block By Block: The Amulet when it releases. I hope you and the team will still be able to continue the MCSM remake. MINECRAFT: STORY MODE REMAKE

Who am I?:

Hi! I'm Icarus you may know me from my art blog @theghostoficarus. I don't want to say too much about myself because internet safety is important chat. What's my goal?: I want to make a way for people who didn't get the chance to (like myself) play Minecraft Story Mode. The game, as bad as the first few episodes can be, has a lot of love put into it. It's a shame they took it down, and I want to give people a way for people to play it. A romhack if you will. What if they sue?: Mojang doesn't care about the game like... at all. And I plan to keep the credit scenes in, meaning that all credit for the creation of the games will still go to them. This project is also a nonprofit. I'm really just doing this for fun. That also means 0 ads while playing HURRAY! Where can I find it?: It's going to be on YouTube! I'm going to make a YouTube channel for it soon, but as of now it's not up yet. What can I do to help?: As of now, you can get in touch with me by DMing me. As long as you can prove you have the game, then you can totally help! I'm going to start work on a Discord soonish to help mainstream the work. However, that's going to be later down the line. I'm in the research phase of things, which essentially means figuring out how many clips I'm going to need to make this and how many people I'd need to do it optimally. I WANT TO REMAKE MINECRAFT STORY MODE AND I NEED YOUR HELP

Some explanation: I'm a huge fan of Minecraft Story Mode and have always dreamed of making the game playable again for everyone. So after a lot of thinking and I mean A LOT, I've devised a plan. Minecraft Story Mode is a choose-your-own-adventure show with extra steps. Netflix proved that you could take the extra steps away and still get something half decent. With that in mind, I hope to make a YouTube channel dedicated to Minecraft Story Mode and make it playable. You can link videos at the end of a video, meaning it would take "players" to their next action.

Of course, some choices would be lost, like choosing not to look at something or just letting the timer run out. It's not perfect. But it's better than nothing. This is where I need the help. If you have the game, please contact me. The more the merrier, because there are a lot of choices to make in the game, and while some are less important than others, I want to make it feel like the real game. I'm going to be making a side blog dedicated to this project, and you can find me there. I'll be providing updates there while I try to do the first episode by myself as a proof of concept. I'm not gonna lie I'm a bit nervous for Block by Block: The Amulet. I went on a bit of craze trying to find out as much as I could about it and most of these could be outdated by now but it made me question some things. (This is really about Petra and Lukas)

I really hope this isn't going to be a Petra fest like how season 2 of MCSM was, don't get me wrong I love Petra she's one of my favs but I really want each member of Jesse's gang to have the spot light, especially with how Olivia and Axel got written out in the original.

I'm not sure how they're gonna manage Petra cuz I don't think she gets sick or at the very least not until much later on. I'm not too too worried about this change, honestly I prefer it, I just hope it's done well.

Lukas' character. I read that they have plans to make him basically more of a stereotypical cool dude which really concerns me. I view Lukas (at the start) being a bit arrogant, air headed and a lil cowardly, then as the story goes on he figures out how to overcome his vaults. Also he's a huge nerd, as opposed to the Minecraft version of a jock. I wouldn't mind him being more mean tho.

The thing that bothered me the most is where they said they'd make him known for being a skilled fighter which I feel like is kinda steeling one of Petra's traits, I hope they keep the architect thing he has going for him at the very least.

Another thing about the whole fighting thing is their fighting styles. Each character has a unique way they use combat which I find really cool. Like Axel having TNT and fists, Olivia having redstone and a bow or Ivor with his potions (his fight was so cool), Petra having the more traditional sword and Lukas mainly using his bow. I really hope they don't diminish this and just have them all fighting with a sword.

In a post they said they changed the character designs on how much they changed the characters personalities but later they did hold a poll asking what people like about the story and the majority answered the characters. So I hope they don't change them too much just enough so that they have more depth.

I'm still really excited for this project and even if everything I'm concerned about is true I'll still support it. As far as I know they've been working on this for about 5 years now and honestly I'm really impressed so I'm gonna keep an open mind :)
