• i got dumped by my short-term ex-boyfriend because i'm too headstrong, had my own voice, thoughts and opinions, am career driven.

• i went out on a date with a guy last month and got ghosted because we had a fall out over me wanting to be a forensic scientist and i have my own voice, thoughts and opinions.

• i went to the shop just now, had a conversation with the female cashier about her day and my DNA ring on my finger, and before we left she said, "can i just say, it's so good to meet a girl with her own voice and ambitions, it's so nice to see."

are some men really that threatened by a woman with her own voice and opinions, and wants a career of her own with little help from someone else? i'm asking my male mutuals here, ya girl really wants to know x
